I have used Perfect Pool for the past several years and recently had many issues. #1: I had replaced my pool gate last year and somehow a post snapped off at the ground level and it just happened to be near where the skimmer basket is at that they access weekly. While I have no way to prove that it was Perfect Pool who broke the fence, it's strange that it broke in that exact spot that they need to access. #2: My neighbor called me on 6/15/24 and said that my pool guy was throwing leaves over the wall and into the street. After speaking with Freddie (Perfect Pool Owner) he said 'no we don't do that!' Giving him the benefit of the doubt I left the issue alone. #3: I happened to be home on 8/30/24 when Perfect Pools came to clean my pool. I watched as he skimmed the pool and then emptied his basket over the wall at least 3 times before I walked outside and called him out on it. In his words, he said that he does it all the time. They have caused property damage three times at my residence by cleaning out pool filter debris into inappropriate areas: a sprinkler valve box, onto artificial turf (staining it), and most recently into rocks that frame the property, which will likely result in the death of several plants, after they were asked to never clean the filters in the backyard again. There was no response when I called to report the third and final incident. There has been no offer of credit or cleanup, just a toxic biohazard their staff created. There has been no follow-up to acknowledge that they have been fired. And this only scratches the surface of the service lapses and issues we've experienced. Update: Freddie called me 2 hours after receiving my text on Thursday. I told him it was disappointing to wake up to a text from his wife telling me they are discontinuing service ASAP. He became defensive and started raising his voice. He asked me if I think he really wants to lose his customers but he cannot find quality technicians. I told him I understand; however, I do not appreciate how as his long time, loyal customer for close to 6 yrs that he didn't have the decency to call me. His technician literally came out the day before to service my pool and now he's telling me he has no technicians, only a few repair technicians on payroll. After our conversation, he sent me a text asking if I would be kind enough to remove my bad review because he thought I understood his situation. I have no intention of removing my honest review. I had no issues with his service before and gave him a glowing review the first time because he deserved it. I received a flyer in the mail and happened to need my pool drained and cleaned. So I gave Freddy a call. He was very knowledgeable and friendly . He was able to give me a quote over the phone. I had a lot of build up of white stuff which I assume is salt on the tiles and needed it cleaned and "blasted off". The price was better then a couple others I called and Freddy was able to schedule me in right away. The guys that came out did a great job. The pool looks brand new! They came back a few days later to do the chemicals and add salt . Overall I'm very happy with the service and would use them again and recommend to friends! read more

We were looking for the best company to clean our pool tile. Perfect Pool LLC is the company we chose based on an advertisement we received in the mail. We have an older home with a corresponding 30 year old pool. The tile is original. As you can probably imagine, the calcium buildup, particularly on each side of the raised spa spillway is ugly. Perfect Pool LLC's technician cleaned all of our tile yesterday late afternoon. Today, it is the best it's ever looked since we purchased this home over 20 years ago. I rate this company at ZERO. They are not dependable. They only spend 8 minutes servicing the pool. They never return calls or online messages; most of the time their mailbox is full. Because I'm on auto pay they charged me for a full month in March of this year when they had skipped service on 03-03. I finally cancelled 04-17-23 and have been trying to reach them before my payment is taken. I have requested they make good on March and not only pro-rate for my cancellation, but also not charge me for 04-07-23 when no one showed up. This company is far from Perfect. Very responsive, friendly, etc. Following that I cancelled my previous service company with whom I was not thrilled, and had Perfect Pool Service take over. Quickly the degree of customer service fell. Then...about 6 weeks in, I see that a charge on my credit card that is 60% higher than it should be. After two texts Freddie responded that there was an extra $75 to change the filter. I was a little surprised as this was not part of my original quote. When asked, Freddie said that he had quoted it, and it was a recurring charge every 3 months. I do pay attention to my finances -- and he never quoted that. My previous pool service never charged for it, and when Freddie started he told me my filter was clean -- so, presumably the previous service managed it. Anyway...I was not wild about this, was pondering what to do, and then a few days later I get an email advising that there would be a 35% increase immediately because the price of pool chemicals had gone up do to Covid (what hasn't?) . That was it for me! Cancelled and hired someone else, and that tech told me that I had no chlorine in my pool. ‍ So...Idk about all that, but I will say that I was very drawn in by the acid-wash deal, THAT was great so I was very susceptible to having them take over my service...and it was all downhill from there. I had multiple issues with technicians not showing up, my pool turning green, repeatedly leaving my trash can outside the gate(Hoa violation) and complete lack of the ability to get a hold of them. I notified them no one had been to my property for 2 weeks. The pool was dirty from landscaping I had done near the pool that knocked some dirt in. They assured me someone had been there and let me know of my next schedule date. By the next schedule date no one shows up, I get home and my pool is dark nasty green. No one will answer the phone. No technician proceeded to show up for THREE MORE WEEKS. I can't get a hold of them call text email nothing. Wow do I really love the work Freddy and his wife have done to change my pool. I had a previous pool guy and little did I know, he wasn't doing his job, slowly but surely my water was getting cloudier and cloudier and I thought to myself, "that isn't right" I got a flier in the mail one day from Perfect Pool Service, coincidence? So I called and spoke to Freddy (the owner) he came out to take a look at my pool and without hesitation immediately noticed the water was not up to par, getting down on his knees and grabbing his little black pouch with his water chemical balancer tool, he scooped up some of my pool water and told me that my water was too acidic and that it needed to be shocked right away or else I'd have to drain the entire pool! Now, I had some hesitation as Freddy was a little more pricier than my current pool guy, but I thought either I stay with my current guy and he continues to screw up my pool water or I go with Freddy who can fix this, I decided to go with Freddy. It took him almost 2 months coming out once a week, every Friday to clean and balance the water in my pool, but he fixed it and I didn't have to drain my pool!! I recently had a house warming party and he made sure to clean my pool as much as possible so that it would be ready and look great, he also fixed a little bolt that was coming loose on my gate, without me asking. If I could give zero stars I would. Honestly I'm about ready to SUE! I had this company for a year, originally I was quoted $110 a month for services. I have NEVER been charged $110, always $140-$175. They are unreliable. I have been trying to get ahold of someone for 2 months, phone, text, email etc. no response and no answer. Meanwhile my pool has been turning greener every day over the last two months. (Keep in mind they have me on auto pay, with no way of removing the card myself. so I can't stop the charges until I can fire them which I can't do because no one will respond to me.) Finally, after so many failed attempts at reaching them. I took this matter to the bank, to block their charges and dispute the final charge on my card. I hired a new company, they came out and did a full test on the water to see if it's even SAFE for people. It's not, it is now going to cost me $2000 just to have all of this FIXED. We had a terrible experience with 4 other pool companies that for various reasons were just awful and by the luck of seeing the mail flyer for this company advertising a Chlorine and Acid Bath special which was not the issues at hand but a service we had been planning so we called. Freddie had referred us to someone who was an incredible find conducting the work with accuracy, efficiency and integrity which was beyond appreciated. Freddy and his team now have come to conduct the service of the bath which was precisely as stated before. Perfect as the name states was the work.
