Mind you, this was an hour and a half prior to their closing time. They gracefully stated they were available and to head over. I was welcomed when I walked in, requested to pay, then taken to the room. I requested a Swedish massage. The massage was overall very good - I had Kimmie (I think). The massage did not feel rushed. I have 3 other go-to massage locations but they are all about 45 minutes to an hour away - it's nice to have a place nearby. I will be a returning customer.

I guess I'm not the only one this recently happened to. I got gifted a groupon for a 60min massage…read more- gift was $67 dollars but the actual advertised massage in store is only $60. Who pays more for a groupon? I rarely do this and hate leaving bad reviews but here it goes: 1. It's not the establishments fault that groupon overcharged however, the business owner, would not take ANY responsibility. My main complaint is that if you're the business owner and groupon is promoting/advertising your business, you should be aware of what's going on and take some responsibility for the false advertising...especially if I'm not the first person bringing this situation to your attention. The owner made it sound like she was powerless, when in fact, I'm sure groupon/business have some working relationship and they get kickbacks of some sort. 2. Communication. I am not knocking hardworking immigrants, I come from a family of them, but having no one on the premises that speaks any English is tough from a customers perspective, especially when customers expect to be heard and valued. 3. You can hear everything. Part of getting a massage means that you're placed in a serene environment. None of the rooms have doors closed, you can hear the massage taking place in the next room and more over, you can hear the conversations happening between the employees. Distracting to say the least. 4. The massage itself was okay. That's why they get two stars instead of one.

I don't even know how to describe the experience that I just had. I called to see if they had…read moreavailability for a massage in the next 15 minutes and they did. I was greeted by an older gentleman with gray hair and he smelled of cigarettes. He was the person who conducted my experience. For the first 30 to 40 minutes, a man popped at me and jerked me around through the thin sheet and skin to skin with no oils or anything while I was on my belly. The poking and the prodding did not feel like a massage as my body just kept shaking back-and-forth every time he kept poking. I contemplated asking him to stop to wait for someone else because this was not a Massage at all. I already knew the ambience wasn't going to be great because of the fact that there are no doors just curtain so you can't really get very relaxed. I had requested the 90 minute combo massage which included hot stones. Maybe I should have asked clarifying questions because he did stack stones down my back, but he did not actually use them to massage any part of my body. Eventually, he did use some oils and the massage felt more like a traditional massage. I guess I just did not care for his technique and overall I was really disappointed with spending $80 to get poked and jerked around and leave with a headache from the motion sickness's and smell of cigarettes. Honestly, I didn't feel like I needed to leave a tip, but I still gave him a $10 bill because I know everyone is just out here trying to work. He looked at the bill I gave him unfolded it, he then shook his head in complete disappointment and just walked away. Maybe I should have gone with my first thought and not let it tip at all since he did not seem to appreciate what I had given him. Needless to say this is not a place I will be going back to.

Kaoru changed my life!!! She is AMAZING. Her reflexology assessment was very illuminating, and I…read moreshared with her that an athlete my muscles get very sore and tense and that I would love to help release my muscles with a high-pressure massage, and she surely delivered!! She is very strong and made sure to check in with me to ask if it was too hard, which I appreciated, but I told her it was perfect (because it was!). I felt such relief afterwards and in the following days, especially in my shoulders, which she spent a lot of time on (which was much needed). I will be back regularly, and I highly recommend you see Kaoru asap!

It's been a few years since I got my first massage from her but this time around I've been having chronic pain near the arches of my feet for almost 3 months from a lot standing at my former job and DJ sets. Kaoru listened to my concerns about these problems and assessed my feet before promptly getting to work, always making sure I could handle the pressure. It was a bit painful to break all the knots that I didn't even existed in the center of feet but I felt so much relief after despite being a bit sore after. It's been a few days now after the foot reflexology/massage and I can definitely say my feet feel much more grounded than before and the constant pain much more subtle like I'm finally healing. Thank you again Kaoru for the massage and foot reflexology. You are truly blessed with healing hands and...elbows haha.
