Checkin process was smooth. Morning tee time cost me $83 plus $7 for small bucket. They have a small range with mats to hit off of. One of the best things about this course is that they let you ride the cart to your car. So leave your bag in the car if you decide to ride and pick it up after check in. The club house has a the usual stuff, nothing fancy about it. Restaurant is decent as well with burgers, hot dogs and variety of snacks and sports drinks. Some alcohol selection as well. The course itself is not difficult from the white tees. I almost drove the green on a couple of par 4s from the white tee. Fairways and bunkers are well maintained. We had a good time on the course. I shall call this review #CarJealousy…read more Riding in through the large golf course, I can see the rolling hills and sand pits plotted out carefully for eager golfers, who I'm sure hang their heads outside their window like a panting dog as the make their way to the parking lot. A parking lot filled with every car I want. Mercedes SL (insert number) Acura (Insert model) Lexus IS blah blah And there was a bunch of Infinitis... which they can keep. I don't like Infinitis. I think the shape of them is odd and... ugly. Anyways, I was there for a fundraiser so I set up my table and began to do my thing... after my thing was done, I got a little of the County Club treatment as I sat down to lunch in the club room and dined on some of the club kwizine. That's the fancy french way to spell it right? A fresh salad lightly dressed with a balsamic vinaigrette. Full of ridiculously fresh lettuces. It was all the salad truly needed ( and had) cause the lettuce was so freakin' good. I could definitely detect some little gem and butter lettuce in the mix. There was a choice of hamburger or chicken. The chicken was in a light broth of old bay, bbq sauce, and something else which is escaping me. The chef behind the table cut the little knobby bone ( the bone that connects the breast with the wing) off of the breast after I picked it from the chafing dish... begging the question... why did they leave that on? But I think it oddly made some sort of weird difference. Well, whatever they did, the chicken was super tender and flavorful and the buns they had were crucially delicious. It was a spectacularly simple and delicious meal. I loved it. Everyone at the country club was extremely pleasant and attentive. Servers made sure that I had enough to drink and cleared my plate away quickly. The worst part of my experience was leaving the country club, as I know that I am very unlikely to back anytime soon. It's off of either 70 or Route 40, but it's an easy drive coming from most directions, as long as you don't hit any traffic. It was a great experience from beginning to the end, even with temps in the high 90s! The course is beautifully maintained, with some challenging fairways and the greens were fast today. The staff was friendly and check-in was quick. The clubhouse is pretty huge and has the gigantic windows that overlook the course. The cart lady was very nice and checked in on us a few times throughout our outing I can't say anything about the pace of place because we were out there on a weekday, during a heat wave, so there weren't a lot of other golfers. From what I've been told, the weekdays aren't usually that busy and definitely cheaper than other courses in the area, which is crazy. The only reason for giving it 4 stars is because maintenance was out the day we were and they were on quite a few fairways the same time we were so they seemed annoyed that we were in their way and sometimes we had to wait for them to clear out. This may have been a one off so when I go back, I'll update my review.

I picked this place to surprise my husband with a Father's Day activity. This was both of our 1st visit. Our boys had been at least twice by now. It's a nice big facility, with plenty of parking, clean premises, plenty of space to still social distance whether mandated or not. We all had so much fun and the food was so good! We were assisted by Jordan and Shae who were pretty awesome. We were up on bay 307, I forgot I'm scared of heights when I requested that high bay. My family enjoyed it, that was all that mattered to me. Please believe I will be down on the 1st or 2nd floor next time! We had a great time and I look forward to returning again sooner than later! On 3.28.2026 We were assisted by Josh at our bay who was pretty awesome. He was very humble, consistent, and pleasant. We ordered Green Tea Shots, Hot Toddy, Wings, Burger, and a Chicken Sandwich. In October 2020, we went to a golf course in Columbia not far from our office. One week earlier I wanted to practice swinging a golf club. My friend who lives in Germantown met up with me one day after work. They have cheaper rates during the week. It's beautifully laid out to hit balls, and I got decent practicing my swing and was mostly hitting the ball pretty straight. Topgolf prepared me to be not quite so bad at the golf course during our work event. I visited Topgolf again on a Saturday night in November 2024. My girlfriend & I had an event in Clarksburg area as well as dinner over there. We weren't terribly interested in what they were doing afterward. I could meetup with a different friend than the one in 2020 to hang out, which he was actually game for. We settled on meeting up at Topgolf not for golfing but other stuff they have there. We played pool, fooseball. and had drinks. Bartender was nice, and the drinks were delicious. Pool tables were nice too. I'm glad we came up with this idea to go here.

I've played here about 50 times, and I can't believe they only charge $10 to walk as many holes as you want on a weekday. It's $28 to play 18 with a cart on weekends. So, why so cheap? - The fairway and rough grass is basically as god made it. Now, all that said, it's 5-stars because: - It's not an easy course. - The greens are pretty well kept. All the sins of a cheapo golf course are forgiven when the greens are in good enough shape. - It's pretty. It's right there along the Catoctins. - Folks are friendly. I brought my son here a lot, and they never charged me more than a few bucks (if at all).

Select your course or just practice at the driving range. When you're ready to play, you hit a button with your club or foot and a ball comes out and tees up for you! You can adjust the tee height with the same ease. If you're hitting a fairway shot or putting, you just move it around. Yes, you putt which is also new to me at sims. We set our 'cede' putt distance to within 7 feet which helped speed the game along a bit. You can also take a mulligan! I went with someone who had been before and explained it to me however the staff were all very friendly and ready to help. Matt, the owner, came over several times as he heard us chatting about options for play. Very helpful! I asked him about bringing a group of ladies here and will explore that option for sure! We had Barbie helping us with drinks. We didn't eat this time but hope to next time. Draft beer was tasty. I asked about happy hours or specials and they don't have any. Make a reservation online before you go. You need about an hour a player to play 18 holes. You can extend if there isn't a group behind you. We had to since we couldn't get started on time (see note below). Pricing is different depending on the time of day. Check the website. I went with two other people and had two beers. We golfed for 3.5 hours. I paid $86, finished 18 holes and felt perfectly tired and happy when I was done. Hope that's helpful! A few points for the owners: Please allow people to enter 15 minutes before their start time. We couldn't get into the building until our reservation had already started taking away about 15 minutes from our play. We had to wait outside in the cold since we didn't know about that and dutifully got there 15-20 min early. Please get club stands so golfers with bags that don't have kickstands don't have their clubs falling over during play. Is it possible to put the golf and the drink/food on separate checks? The implication is you should tip on the full total which is misleading. I'll be back!
