Great 27 hole par 3 course. About 9,000 steps around the whole thing. This is a great course for novice players to cut their teeth on; challenging but won't make you hate the sport if you are still learning. The GPS took me to the exact location I needed to be. Looked like it normally costs a few bucks to get in the park but there was a sign up saying no charge. It's largely a wooded course. Recommended. read more

Disc golfers are the nicest people you will ever meet. It's a great community of people who are all team chill who offer support and swear to return discs to their proper owners. Be sure to write your name and phone number in the event you lose your disc in a bramble or stream. This is such a lovely course. It is 36 hole course. After 18 holes, the course loops back to the parking lot so you can tap out if you are tired. By the parking lot, there is a large open space where you can practice your throws against a basket. Every hole has a sign denoting where the target is, as well as the distance to the basket and the par count. On most holes, you can see the basket from the tee area. At the end of each hole, is a marked sign where the next hole is. It is a rolling hill course with a running stream where your discs can fly awry if you have a tendency to shank your throw. There are a bunch of trees that can really do good damage to your discs. There is a parking fee on the weekends. It is free to park on weekdays. If you want to bypass, the fee, park along the scenic and greatest road, Riffle Ford, by the bridge overlooking Seneca Creek. When you come here, be sure to bring some water and a towel. Your disc will get wet and be covered in dirt. The course is a tad difficult. There are a bunch of trees that can really do a good damage to your discs. read more

Such a beautiful park with a disc golf course. Or is that a disc golf course with a beautiful park? The park is amazing, the disc golf course is one of the best on the planet, and the bugs are ravenous. Disc golf is like traditional ball golf; you start on a tee pad and navigate the fairway to complete the hole. The difference is that in disc golf you use a frisbee. hands-down the best disc golf course in the area. 36 holes stretching through woods and fields up and down hills with all kinds of terrain and vegetation. located at the back end of seneca creek state park, this is the place to go. bring lots of water. pack a picnic, make a day of it, you won't regret it and the only downside is that most other courses will suddenly seem pretty crappy by comparison. read more

Nice place, besides the millions of gnats that follow you in swarms depending on the season, but other then that quite pleasant trails, walk around for getting a little health kick in for the day and you don't really need to know how to play or be that great of a frisbee thrower to still have a blast here. I took my dog there and she loved it as well. Sometimes the course can get crowded but not to the point of not having your own space with your friends and people have always been polite and respectful. read more

Seneca Creek is the best disc golf course in MD. It offers a variety of hole types (wooded, open, narrow, open) and is very scenic. It has tons of holes as well, much more than the standard 18. The course will challenge you with the need to throw hyzers, anhyzers, and just about every shot in your bag. It can get pretty crowded in the summer, but it is definitely worth the trip! Large, wooded disc golf course in Montgomery County. I have played the course several times, but I think it would be more enjoyable earlier in the spring as some holes can get quite overgrown by fall. The course is in a state park, so expect to pay a couple dollars a person (more if your not a MD resident). All in all, there are a ton of holes to play and hills to climb, so make sure you have a water bottle handy. read more
