Thank goodness I started to learn on this black diamond level beauty. All other places feel easy since I started high. The staff is great, the view is breathtaking and the peace of mind to focus on my swing.

Played 6/22/20 with my brother and pops as a belated fathers day round and boy was it exciting. Wish I played better, but pretty happy about grabbing 2 birds for the day. Almost holed my first ace on the par 3 #7, but didn't mind taking the tap in bird. Although the course has increased the greens fee (paid $56 at 9am, Monday) the course conditions are better than I've ever seen. Past years, greens were nice and fast but had lots of discoloration in them, but now they are perfect! The color is uniformly green, extremely smooth and fast like Augusta. Kudos to the greens keeper and maintenance staff for really bringing the course up to tournament shape. I will def return in the future, thank for a memorable fathers day round.

This is clearly the best and most scenic course in the Montgomery County Golf (MCG) system. Just as good as nearby PB Dye or Worthington Manor but much cheaper. Although not the longest, it is probably one of the most challenging of the MCG courses with a lot of elevation changes (hilly), few even lies, challenging rough, many holes with forced carries either off the tee in front of the greens, and lots of breaking putts. Not really walkable - need a cart. And if your handicap is 20+, expect to lose a few balls. Excellent pace of play midweek, despite booked with all foursomes. In excellent shape and has a nice clubhouse (except bathroom was out of soap and towels and needed cleaning). Separate building for the range is apart from the clubhouse. Despite being one of the furthest from Bethesda, quick access from I-270 makes it worthwhile to travel here.

I've never had a bad day at Little Bennett GC. Scenic viewing with a challenging layout. Like every course, it's better from the fairway.

This is a very good, challenging course, probably the most difficult public course in Montgomery County, about as hard in PB Dye in Frederick Co.

A parking lot filled with every car I want. Mercedes SL (insert number) Acura (Insert model) Lexus IS blah blah And there was a bunch of Infinitis... which they can keep. I don't like Infinitis. I think the shape of them is odd and... ugly. Anyways, I was there for a fundraiser so I set up my table and began to do my thing... after my thing was done, I got a little of the County Club treatment as I sat down to lunch in the club room and dined on some of the club kwizine. That's the fancy french way to spell it right? A fresh salad lightly dressed with a balsamic vinaigrette. Full of ridiculously fresh lettuces. It was all the salad truly needed ( and had) cause the lettuce was so freakin' good. I could definitely detect some little gem and butter lettuce in the mix. There was a choice of hamburger or chicken. The chicken was in a light broth of old bay, bbq sauce, and something else which is escaping me. The chef behind the table cut the little knobby bone ( the bone that connects the breast with the wing) off of the breast after I picked it from the chafing dish... begging the question... why did they leave that on? But I think it oddly made some sort of weird difference. Well, whatever they did, the chicken was super tender and flavorful and the buns they had were crucially delicious. It was a spectacularly simple and delicious meal. I loved it. Everyone at the country club was extremely pleasant and attentive. Servers made sure that I had enough to drink and cleared my plate away quickly. The worst part of my experience was leaving the country club, as I know that I am very unlikely to back anytime soon. Maybe when my magnetic car invention gets off the ground.

We have come here on several occassions to either play at the driving range or to do a full 18-hole golf tournament. The drive in from the main road is nothing like any of the golf courses in the area. Staff are friendly, the grounds are nicely kept. Fresh cut green grass, rolling hills, and ruins of different buildings. Each portion of the course has a different feeling and there is even one hole in the back of the course that is very quiet and serene. There were a few times that we have seen golf balls from other holes fly near us, which was unsettling but other than that the course is quiet and peaceful. Golf carts have GPS maps along with hole distances. The food in the clubhouse is basically fried food, I would expect higher quality from a golf course this nice. The clubhouse could use an overhaul on the decor but otherwise it is in good condition. We have really enjoyed each time coming here and can't wait to be back in the spring.

While I personally don't like the layout or the course (lot of holes don't suit my eye), this course is arguably one of the best daily fee courses in this part of the state. I've been playing here for years and almost always the course eats my lunch. Pro shop is surprisingly well stocked, food and drink are great (more especially after the renovations a few years back and offering a full service restaurant). Range is great (in season they usually have the grass tees open). Staff are top notch and always accommodating. Years ago, the supper got a bit cheeky with a really unfair pin placement on 9. My foursome reported this to the head teaching pro at the time who went out, played the hole himself and reported back to us after the round. He agreed the pin placement was utterly ridiculous and encouraged us to mark our scorecards accordingly. At that time I wasn't posting scores as I didn't have an index and whenever I played here I'd shoot something awful. Over the years I've grown to love this course. Just expect to spend 5 hours on a round here in season on the weekends as the course is very popular.

In October 2020, we went to a golf course in Columbia not far from our office. One week earlier I wanted to practice swinging a golf club. It's beautifully laid out to hit balls, and I got decent practicing my swing and was mostly hitting the ball pretty straight. Topgolf prepared me to be not quite so bad at the golf course during our work event. I visited Topgolf again on a Saturday night in November 2024. My girlfriend & I had an event in Clarksburg area as well as dinner over there. We weren't terribly interested in what they were doing afterward. I could meetup with a different friend than the one in 2020 to hang out, which he was actually game for. We settled on meeting up at Topgolf not for golfing but other stuff they have there. We played pool, fooseball. and had drinks. Bartender was nice, and the drinks were delicious. Pool tables were nice too. I'm glad we came up with this idea to go here.
