At first I was going to hype this business by telling a story about how we had a blast playing mini golf. How the experience was very Disney like, with live looking dinosaurs and other wildlife running around the course. My grandson and my imaginations ran wild with a lot of ideas to embellish the story but decided to tell it like it was, or should I say it wasn't.

The lobby and front desk areas are stunning, and the firepit right outside was absolutely dreamy for evening hangouts. Our room was comfortable with cozy beds, but I was disappointed to learn that daily cleaning only happens if you call to request it--so ours was never cleaned during our stay. The pool was fun, but it closes at 8pm, which feels a little too early. It would be amazing if they extended hours to 10 or 11pm. The biggest downside was the very loud AC system. Even when we turned ours off and cracked the window, we still heard the neighboring unit running all night. It definitely made it hard to sleep. Overall, though, it's a beautiful property with a lot of charm--perfect for family gatherings and downtime between adventures.

In my opinion, they should really have the option of purchasing one race, which is approximately nine laps. However, this isn't the case. They apparently only do packaged races. The option we selected was three races, which was about $54 per person. Supposedly, if you don't use all your races in one visit, you will still have access to the remaining races whenever (no time limit) you go back (I will have to confirm this at a later date). For the go karting, you are required to purchase their annual speedway license which was approximately $8. The activities: Axe throwing was a great time. Our demonstrator/trainer as very interactive and got straight to the point, which we appreciated. He detailed the safety requirements, gave recommendations for how to throw the axe, and gave a handful of games for us to play while axe throwing. The go karting was such a good time. Got to drive like my inner speedy, while feeling safe enough to do it. I would definitely recommend this for an interactive date night, sibling outing, coworker bonding session... Essentially, any styled outing that desires a good time with some friendly competition. I will definitely be back to collect my remaining two races.

Not only should the mini-golf course not be open at all, the health department needs to step in and condemn the facility. The carpeting is so worn in places that concrete protrudes through it. So much mold and mildew has accumulated on the astro-turf that it impedes the roll of the balls. Ponds of stagnant, algae-laden water are all over the place. Not a drop of investment has been put into this mini-golf course in literally years. Price was $25 for two adults and three under-twelve children. We were not even offered ebola protection suits as an option; outrageous! I didn't want to make a big deal in front of the grandkids who had been waiting to play mini-golf all day, but someone has to be forewarned not to attempt to play this course. The other aspects of the facility appeared fine and updated, i.e. the driving range and executive par three course.
