I mainly make the drive from DC to Worthington for the course condition. Quick greens, great fairways, tee boxes, and an overall effort throughout the course to keep conditions at it's high standard. I have played in winter, summer, and fall and have never been let down. It is typically easy to get a time, whether you are booking online or just calling, which says a lot about the experience as well. No one likes hunting down a time or date that they want. I always play in less than 5 hours - normally closer to 4 - and rarely wait (until the last couple of holes when thing start to slow down). The only hole I dislike on this course is the par 4 12th - poorly designed. Otherwise, the course is challenging, memorable, and very fun. Although the clubhouse is small, it has everything you need and more. Food is pretty good and a great price (breakfast quesadilla is great and $8). I also paid $20 for a 6 pack of beer - incredible! Staff is always great and can answer any questions you may have. I shouldn't even be writing this review as more people may play - but they deserve it!

Select your course or just practice at the driving range. When you're ready to play, you hit a button with your club or foot and a ball comes out and tees up for you! You can adjust the tee height with the same ease. If you're hitting a fairway shot or putting, you just move it around. Yes, you putt which is also new to me at sims. We set our 'cede' putt distance to within 7 feet which helped speed the game along a bit. You can also take a mulligan! I went with someone who had been before and explained it to me however the staff were all very friendly and ready to help. Matt, the owner, came over several times as he heard us chatting about options for play. Very helpful! I asked him about bringing a group of ladies here and will explore that option for sure! We had Barbie helping us with drinks. We didn't eat this time but hope to next time. Draft beer was tasty. I asked about happy hours or specials and they don't have any. Make a reservation online before you go. You need about an hour a player to play 18 holes. You can extend if there isn't a group behind you. We had to since we couldn't get started on time (see note below). Pricing is different depending on the time of day. Check the website. I went with two other people and had two beers. We golfed for 3.5 hours. I paid $86, finished 18 holes and felt perfectly tired and happy when I was done. Hope that's helpful! A few points for the owners: Please allow people to enter 15 minutes before their start time. We couldn't get into the building until our reservation had already started taking away about 15 minutes from our play. We had to wait outside in the cold since we didn't know about that and dutifully got there 15-20 min early. Please get club stands so golfers with bags that don't have kickstands don't have their clubs falling over during play. Is it possible to put the golf and the drink/food on separate checks? The implication is you should tip on the full total which is misleading. I'll be back!

As a former softball player, Doug helped me start making the shift to hit the ball like a golfer. He was patient, knowledgeable, and easy to learn from. Even with the drizzle, it was a good day. Playing on this course a few years ago, as our first exposure to foot golf, we recalled rather…read moreenjoying it, so we decided to try it out again pro: the course was quite large; 18 holes integrated within the standard golf course, creating a decently sized game, with a nice long walk throughout cons: the course wasn't well maintained; the start tee markers were inconsistently difficult to locate (missing or mis-colored yellow blocks), the buckets & flags were often popped out, chipped, tilted, or broken creating some handicaps for our final shots the fairways and greens were very hilly, so it was more aim, kick, and adjust for the hill roll than direct soccer ball skills a few holes were very tightly near the driving range, making playing a few holes feel very dangerous overall, having since played at a few other foot golf courses, while we were intrigued by the larger number of holes offered here- we'd far prefer the better up-keep, more well maintained courses, and less dangerous holes the other courses have to offer

We played Footgolf here on a Sunday morning in the summer and it was surprisingly empty. For those…read morewho aren't familiar with Footgolf, it's exactly what it sounds like: The goal is to kick a soccer ball into a large hole in as few 'shots' as possible. We played 18 holes of Footgolf for $26 (including two ball rentals) in about two hours, and really enjoyed it. If you've never played Footgolf, it's super fun and doesn't require any skill other than being able to kick a ball, and this is a great place to try it out. The Footgolf course is integrated into their nine-hole 'regular' golf course, which made for a nice walk. The golf course is a par-33 course with no par-fives, but it was pretty hilly with some tight fairways, so it isn't necessarily an 'easy' course either. The fairways and greens were well-maintained, especially in comparison to other public courses in the area. All told, I will definitely be back for more Footgolf and/or 'regular' golf.

Where do I start... the tee boxes don't even have grass, either weeds or dirt (they should rotate…read morethem to let the grass heal, seems like they don't). To add, if you want to use a tee you'll probably need to put a hammer in your bag just to get it in the ground. The greens are poorly maintained, even the fairways, half the time you're hitting off of dirt. If you like dirt trails, hiking them, not actively golfing off them, it's probably a nice place for a free leisurely walk. Additionally, noting on all that I said, it's $35 to play 18 with a cart. Take $35, multiplied by everyone that plays daily, and none of that money is being contributed to improving the course. Overall, I've played at municipal courses that are 100x better AND cheaper, so, I'm not sure what their net sales are going towards but, it's not to make the business/course any better. PS. The service is really bad too. On top of all of this, rude employees, and... AND, we were first in line to get a cart, but, apparently 2 groups magically appeared out of the dirt, and we had to wait even longer just to get started because they "were there before us" when... they were not.

Mullinix Park is a small park just off the Carroll Creek Park on the way to Baker Park. It's near a…read morepool and comes with plenty of green space. There's a small playground with climbing equipment, swings and rocks to climb on. My toddler was a little disappointed there were no slides. Next to the playground are restrooms and a small picnic pavillion.
