Great food and view! Location: we went April 2018, the weather was great so we sat outside. the view was absolutely amazing and serene. You can see the golfer's practicing, the beautiful green grass goes miles away was just amazing to look. Food: Ordered crab cakes... it was good. The price is affordable... Thank you mucho! Would definitely come back.

I came to the course with a golfnow.com tee time and pulled up to the bag drop and starter. As I came out of the car, I was approached by the starter as if I needed a reservation to stop. "Tee time, sir?" I calmly gave him my confirmation and continued about my business. After looking at my name, he said he doesn't have me down with the group at my tee time. I told him I purchased it online and that I was a single. He agreed and said my time was now confirmed. I parked my car and entered the clubhouse. The lady at the register was nice. So far, this place was 50-50. I got my cart and went out to the range. I love places that have free range balls. They were scattered on the practice green, around the chipping green, and near the bunker. I spent about 20 minutes hitting bunker shots and decided that since there were about 30 mins left until my tee time, I would work on irons and driver. There were large buckets of balls ready to be hit and the range was flat and true. Two swings in, I hear the starter on the loudspeaker say my last name. "No way, I thought. I know it's hard to pronounce but I still have 15 minutes." Nope. As I hit my third iron shot and watch it sail off into the range, I hear a voice behind me. "Okay that's enough of that, let's go!" I got back into my cart and followed him to the first tee area. "I thought I'd get you out early," he goes. Thanks for nothing. When I am in the mindset of golfing, I work on a schedule. He already threw me off. Ah, the course. What can I say? The course was the best part of the day (and I haven't even told you the worst). The tee boxes were flat, the fairways were gorgeously mowed, the greens were soft and had true roll. THe hardest thing about these greens were that they moved. A lot. Boy, you really had to hit a 3-foot put to avoid the ball lipping out on some of them. Made for a lot of 2 and 3-putts that day. The course was in great shape, the pace of play was good. The man I was paired up with had a lot to talk about and I enjoyed my time out. Halfway through, I stopped at the clubhouse because I was starving. I was trying to piece together an inexpensive meal and my eyes gravitated towards the lunch box special. ham or turkey sub, chips, cookie, and a drink for $7. I'm in. The sub was turkey meat and american singles on a white roll that was saran-wrapped up and well refrigerated. After undoing the wrapping, I went to the condiments and dressed it in ketchup, mayo, relish, and onions. By hole 14 I had finished eating. By 16 I had a headache. By the time I was driving home, it was a massive headache. By the time I got to my couch, I had food poisoning. I wasn't the same the rest of the day and a lot of what I ate came up (sorry for the image). This was the first time I had food poisoning in over 5 years and I eat out a lot. I was very disappointed and this tainted the image of the course for me. Sometimes it's not all about the ball, grass, and the hole. The course was nice, the experience (as a first time player) was devastating. +1 star for me enjoying the course. Will I be coming back? Can't say I'm banking on it.

Great course and it's very well maintained. Nice driving range and putting green. I will say it's pricey, but worth the price.

I think it is a reasonable price for the golf course.

Well,…read moreoutside of the hallowed halls of Woodmont CC, Worthington has consistently held sectional qualifiers for the US Open for good reason, this track is legit. While I personally don't like the layout or the course (lot of holes don't suit my eye), this course is arguably one of the best daily fee courses in this part of the state. I've been playing here for years and almost always the course eats my lunch. Pro shop is surprisingly well stocked, food and drink are great (more especially after the renovations a few years back and offering a full service restaurant). Range is great (in season they usually have the grass tees open). Staff are top notch and always accommodating. Years ago, the supper got a bit cheeky with a really unfair pin placement on 9. My foursome reported this to the head teaching pro at the time who went out, played the hole himself and reported back to us after the round. He agreed the pin placement was utterly ridiculous and encouraged us to mark our scorecards accordingly. At that time I wasn't posting scores as I didn't have an index and whenever I played here I'd shoot something awful. Over the years I've grown to love this course. Just expect to spend 5 hours on a round here in season on the weekends as the course is very popular.

A parking lot filled with every car I want. Mercedes SL (insert number) Acura (Insert model) Lexus IS blah blah And there was a bunch of Infinitis... which they can keep. I don't like Infinitis. I think the shape of them is odd and... ugly. Anyways, I was there for a fundraiser so I set up my table and began to do my thing... after my thing was done, I got a little of the County Club treatment as I sat down to lunch in the club room and dined on some of the club kwizine. That's the fancy french way to spell it right? A fresh salad lightly dressed with a balsamic vinaigrette. Full of ridiculously fresh lettuces. It was all the salad truly needed ( and had) cause the lettuce was so freakin' good. I could definitely detect some little gem and butter lettuce in the mix. There was a choice of hamburger or chicken. The chicken was in a light broth of old bay, bbq sauce, and something else which is escaping me. The chef behind the table cut the little knobby bone ( the bone that connects the breast with the wing) off of the breast after I picked it from the chafing dish... begging the question... why did they leave that on? But I think it oddly made some sort of weird difference. Well, whatever they did, the chicken was super tender and flavorful and the buns they had were crucially delicious. It was a spectacularly simple and delicious meal. I loved it. Everyone at the country club was extremely pleasant and attentive. Servers made sure that I had enough to drink and cleared my plate away quickly. The worst part of my experience was leaving the country club, as I know that I am very unlikely to back anytime soon. Maybe when my magnetic car invention gets off the ground.

We have come here on several occassions to either play at the driving range or to do a full 18-hole golf tournament. The drive in from the main road is nothing like any of the golf courses in the area. Staff are friendly, the grounds are nicely kept. Fresh cut green grass, rolling hills, and ruins of different buildings. Each portion of the course has a different feeling and there is even one hole in the back of the course that is very quiet and serene. There were a few times that we have seen golf balls from other holes fly near us, which was unsettling but other than that the course is quiet and peaceful. Golf carts have GPS maps along with hole distances. The food in the clubhouse is basically fried food, I would expect higher quality from a golf course this nice. The clubhouse could use an overhaul on the decor but otherwise it is in good condition. We have really enjoyed each time coming here and can't wait to be back in the spring.

I also love the hole 1 and 10 combo. Hole 2 is stunning too as it goes straight up the hillside with a stone wall and a severely sloped green. More room right off the tee than you would initially think. But this course is noticeably better from the blue tees than from the tips. Several blind tee shots from the back tees, the biggest being 17. It could easily become a fantastic drivable par 4 with water left and OB right. The other thing I would change is making those yardage features much smaller. They were trimmed recently and dozens of golf balls could be found by looking into them. I've lost a few in them over our rounds here. But I love the vibe here and welcome any opportunity to come back. And go see Robin Beach, their new pro. He's the man!

The course is always in great shape, even during the winter months and pretty difficult. There's opportunities to score if you know the course but miss your shot and you can end up in a bad spot and struggling to save par. A full driving range, putting green and chipping green. The only issue is there are no lights on those facilities so trying to get out there and practice during the winter months can be tough and they're closed on Mondays. They've done a great job with upgrading the pro shop and always having new products in there.
