The bar are - A bar with a stainless steel countertop and wooden base, featuring shelves stocked with various liquor bottles and decorative ceramic bottles. Hanging light bulbs provide illumination, and framed items are mounted on the wall. A person is seated at the bar, and the ceiling has ornate tin tiles. The setting appears to be a casual dining or drinking establishment.

BYOF... yes they only serve drinks at this time. My fiancé and I came here on a Sunday there was a nice crowd considering it was EASTER SUNDAY ‍ the musics was a nice mix between Spanish and hip hop. they do have off street parking so that was a plus. I would definitely recommend stoping by for a chill vibe. Note there is 20% Gratuities added to all orders "due to Covid"

The bouncer with the dreads and a ponytail that wants to act like he owns stocks of the bar

Bouncers here are on a power trip. Wanna get mad when you call them out in their bullshit. Music is decent and drinks aren't half bad. Would consider coming again if their bouncers didn't act like assholes when you call them out on their bullshit. Bouncer wants to let all his boys in before they let the line of people waiting for 20 minutes and act like they are not on bullshit.

I've been going around Chicago to find a bar for a good atmosphere and vibe it's safe to say I certainly found it in blue light. The moment I came in I New I was in a very positive niched place in weather it is from the fact of being surrounded by beautiful people, or the bubbly attitude from out beautiful bartender lulu it safe to say if you are tired of the self centered clubbing seen from some (or most) of or awesome city bars then blue light is the place to be.

Blue Light, oh Blue Light, crazy, crazy, Blue Light. Oh what trip to Underbar is complete without taking a step into the wild side into Blue Light? While my friends were smoking, I peeped cross the parking lot and saw a stack of dudes outside Blue Light smoking while a girl in a white cocktail dress came out of Blue Light looking like she got out of Studio 54 or some jazz. A bit more motivated, we marched in to Blue Light and met great opposition when we got inside as this bar was loud blasting B96 tracks with the peacoat mafia shuffling in and out and rubbing up on everyone. At one booth featured a girl giving a guy a lapdance while pregnant girls were abound hopefully NOT imbibing alcoholic beverages. Ethnicities of all kind were represented and Blue Light had a tinge of the UN all over it with a chance of international incidents. Despite the chaos and pandemonium, the bartender was quick to ask for drinks and I made note even though I am on drinking hiatus until April 2nd. We got our drinks and speared ahead forward into the vice locked line to push to the back room and the dance floor. It was even tighter there as one guy was humping his less than attractive date using freakdancing moves in the confined space. We pushed and continued to the very back where we found seats and room to breathe. Eventually the monkey show started to abate and there was actually room to dance. Unfortunately, no one in this bar was going to dance as it was a total sausage fest with an estimated 12 guys for every girl. Good for the ladies, bad for An Unstoppable!! In the corner where some people dancing in their seats, too lazy to get off their ass while someone left a giant, giant stein filled with margarita. When the lights came on and the bouncer started yelling for everyone to get out it was as if someone had unleashed a torrent of cockroaches out who all were scurrying to get away. The music was off, the lights were on and it was everyone's last chance to take off their beer goggles before making the wrong decisions that define drinking as dangerous. While waiting outside ugly dudes were hopping into cabs with ugly girls looking as if they had won the lottery. I couldn't help but wonder what the morning would bring them!

Dress code is dumb. No hats and no looking like a gang banger. This place is either really fun or really bad.

They had a terrific Valentine's Day dinner $95 for two people which included a small amuse-bouche each, an appetizer to share, individual entrees, and a dessert to share. We loved the crispy broccolini and were fighting over it. The entrees were huge portions and packed with flavor. I consider myself a scallop connoisseur and in all the restaurants we've ever been in, these scallops were cooked beautifully. They had a perfect sear to them on the outside but cooked perfectly on the inside as well, 10/10 no notes this is the scallop I will compare all future scallops to. And the duck confit, oh my...we also fought over this dish which paired incredibly well with beans to our surprise. Chocolate cake had a beautiful strawberry sauce on the bottom. Everything was incredible including the service. Cobblestone remains our favorite in the area and is loved by all the locals. Thank you for a perfect Valentine's Day dinner.

It was not an "Amuse bouche" which is a single bite item, it was much more but I'm not complaining about that! The appetizer was grilled octopus over sweet potato mash. I learned that day that sweet and grilled octopus is not a good mix. It was nearly gross. I picked the octopus up and tried to brush off as much of the sweet potatoes and possible. The octopus tasted good but was over cooked. My main was the branzino. It was charred to a crisp and full of bones. It did not taste good and was extremely difficult to eat. I did not taste the German chocolate cake for dessert but was told it was dry and people barely touched it. My husband and others are our table got short rib goulash, which was served like a steak with gravy. It wasn't tender like short rib should be. He said the flavor was good at least. Someone got the fish and chips and said it was flavorless. Someone else got the burger and said it was also charred and over cooked. Over all, pretty disappointed. Cute place with decent service. Hopefully this was just an off night.

This is a smaller location and you can sit and eat inside but it is along the window. So if you are eating with a large group, you can eat outside (weather permitting). We ate inside. The service was great! The person taking our order was very nice and helpful. The food came out in a timely fashion. We forgot to ask to remove the mayo on our burger (egg allergy) and they quickly remade one with no questions asked which was very nice. The food was delicious as normal and I've mentioned this before, the best fries. I got the veggie burger and it was spot on. Small Cheval will slays be one of my favs. The shake was good, I got the shake off the month (espresso). It was thick. My only complain is the straw (it kept cracking). Overall, great food, great service and even better company!!! Thanks!

The double cheese burger was 10.99 and addition of fries was 4.59. The burger was juicy, a tad creamy with their sauce, and the bun added a pleasant slight sweetness while adequately absorbing the beefy flavor while not getting soggy. Fries are lacking compared to the burger. Some pieces were crispy while others were soft. They needed more seasoning or a sprinkle of salt. The chicken tenders were a harmonious combination of light crispy with perfectly tender chicken. They need to do the same with the fries. Small cheval always had a solid simple burger that doesn't require all the extravigent additions to make it rememberable. Happy hour weekdays 3-5 for $6 beers and cocktails. Paid and free street parking in the area. Limited seating inside. Menu is accessible online and I recommend ordering through there.
