I said I would prefer to go to auction. They responded by disabling a working item for preview (that had just been serviced to be in working order), incorrectly listed it on their website (they didn't bother with a brand name, model or year) & then sold it for a fraction of the value. When I complained, I was told they "were sorry I felt that way" and nothing more. After years as a customer, I will not go back.

If you want killer deals then make a trip out, there was this entire dinning set (table, chairs and sideboard) that sold for $10 and a HUGE sectional with a hide-a-bed and reclining seats that sold for $525!! There was a high-end Baldwin piano that sold for $900 and beautiful china cabinets with matching table and chairs...this place is awesome!! The auctions are sorted into 4 different rooms two inside and two outside. The items get better in quality as they move from outside to inside, back to outside and then to the last inside room which carried some big ticket furniture and appliances. There is a $50 refundable deposit on a bidding stick (which you need in order to participate in all the fun) and let me tell you it can get intense!! It's a great date idea and good fun for any one.

Wow! Who knew Arizona had such an amazing memorabilia store. This place is absolutely huge! If you…read moreare looking for an autographed piece of memorabilia you will probably find it here. They have a wide variety of autographed media. Sports, movies, bands as well as historical autographed pieces, this is my go to local business for autographed gifts. Autographed items come with a COA from industry leading authentication experts such as Beckett Authentication Services, PSA/DNA, and James Spence Authentication. Today I purchased two Christmas gifts. A Taylor Swift autograph framed piece of memorabilia for my daughter and a Shaquille O'Neal autographed jersey for my son-in-law. I truly do enjoy purchasing from CBU Auctions and have done so for the past eight years. I first stumbled across them when the Majestic Movie Theater was called the Alamo. They had a display table in the lobby of the theater that featured autographed memorabilia. My husband is a huge 49ers fan so we bid on a Jerry Rice Helmet and won it. That's when I found out not only do I get a wonderful certified piece of autographed memorabilia at a great price, but a portion of the proceeds go to a reputable charity. It just doesn't get any better than that. You can still find their memorabilia in Majestic theaters. You can also make purchases online. In one of my pictures below, you can see a screenshot of their home page. At the top of the screenshot, you will see their email address. https://store.cbuauctions.com. Very professional group! Quick checkout…read more Great estate sale. Definitely can tell that they have been doing business for 30+ years.

As I knew he would do eventually because he does it with almost every one-star review (there are so…read moremany of them!), Bo Patrick came along and whined that he had somehow been mistreated by clients deeply unhappy with his service. Our contract with Fidelity stated that the sale would include artwork. It did not specify oil paintings. We did ask Fidelity to auction artwork, and all the artwork we wanted to offer for sale was photographed weeks ahead of the auction by Fidelity's employees or agents. To be clear: WE DID NOT ALLOW FIDELITY TO PHOTOGRAPH FOR THE AUCTION ANY ORIGINAL OIL PAINTINGS OR ADVERTISE THEM FOR SALE ON THEIR WEBSITE. In his reply to my original review, Bo claims that "The day before the auction [my family] removed $20,000 in artwork and now you are upset because we charged you a commission to do that but that's exactly what the contract allows us to do." First of all, it's quite a shock to read that we owned artwork worth $20,000, because that's not what Bo told us at the time. He gave us a much more modest assessment of the paintings' value. Second, regardless of the worth of the paintings, that is not what happened. I don't know if Bo's memory is so poor that he cannot recall the events of his sale with us, if he is so lazy that he did not bother to check the facts, or if he is sufficiently deficient in honesty that he doesn't care about the facts. But his account is wrong. Bo knew that the oil paintings would not be for sale. We had a Zoom meeting with him and Kelsee more than three weeks before the auction in which he tried to persuade us to let Fidelity sell the oil paintings and our father's home; thank God we never seriously entertained the idea of letting him sell the house. But we told him immediately after the Zoom meeting that we had decided against selling the oil paintings. When Bo originally talked to us about the paintings, he wanted to have an online auction, so that people all over the world could bid on them. But that never happened, because we told them weeks ahead of time that the oil paintings would not be included. Again, to be clear: WE DID NOT ALLOW FIDELITY TO PHOTOGRAPH FOR THE AUCTION ANY ORIGINAL OIL PAINTINGS OR ADVERTISE THEM FOR SALE ON THEIR WEBSITE. You cannot believe anything Bo says. He whines that he "had buyers from all around Arizona and other states drive-in for those paintings.... When they arrived, they were very upset with us as an Auction firm.... You affected our reputation that day big time." But if Bo had people traveling from out of state to bid on items we told Bo were not for sale and did not let Fidelity photograph or advertise for the auction, well, that sounds very suspect to me. It is by no means our fault if Bo advertised for sale things he knew would NOT be for sale. We did not affect his reputation--HE did. If people were upset with him that day, it is entirely his fault. Bo won in our lawsuit against Fidelity not because the contract let him charge a commission (the judge agreed that it was a very badly written contract and did not redound to Bo's favor) but because, as I stated before, at the hearing, the judge allowed one and only one witness to speak: Bo's partner Kelsee Wirtjes. Please read my original review to see what happened next. In the time since I posted my original review, Fidelity has received two more five-star reviews, but three more one-star reviews. Their previously poor rating is even worse now--and it's entirely their own fault. The crucial point remains the one with which I concluded my original review: Why would you hire an estate sale company who is so disliked by most people who have hired it? Learn from our mistakes. Stay away from Bo Patrick. Don't believe his unctuous denials. However much he tries to shift the blame for his bad reviews to the people foolish enough to hire him, the fact nonetheless remains that most people who hire him to run an estate sale are extremely unhappy with his services.

To the point, The auction ending on March 2,2017, I won high bid on a Samsung 50" TV of which I did not preview and Im aware of your stated due diligence policy, and that you do not check out all your items; I have participated in many prior east valley auctions with differing results, all of which were acceptable; even while bidding on this TV I was aware it could be missing parts etc. I.E. mounting bracket, remote, power cord, misc. cables, adapters what have you. This T V was passed thru your organization Fully Unusable! it should of been discarded and written off , the entire screen was cracked `it was dropped at some time; at first I thought I can make do with the look of missing outer left frame but when plugged in all was clear to see the damage. The only salvageable part is the electrical cord ; don't remember if remote was there or not. The box had been re-wrapped in such a way as to hide the damage that was obvious if it had been opened, again I realize you don't inspect frequently due to close out refurbish etc. and believe your an honest business person. Now I think I've been fair to make you aware of this problem and not "went off" and complained about your business as that wouldn't be fair to give you a chance to check into this and make things right or respond I eagerly await your response.
