I was a first timer and didn't know ow what to expect...and i was pleasantly surprised when all was said and done! She explained it all and how it worked as she was weighing the items and checking their karat and gave me the fair market value! So amazing! I can't recommend Mary at Valley Goldmine any more. She has helped me with multiple purchases at this point and I have no doubt we'll use her more in the future. The knowledge and experience she has is second to none. She also spent the time to educate me with the entire process. If you want an honest, trustworthy, and super knowledgeable person and company, Mary with Valley Goldmine is the first and last place you need to go. What a value for my time. read more

I enjoyed the private attention Mary gave me! She could not get to me during the day so texted me at night! I love that! It makes me feel like people are as passionate as I am, I don't know if that makes sense to folks who have it easy with success...soldiers in the trench together! Mary must be a truly powerful personality to not be afraid to think outside of the box and maintain a high reputation. I learned several successful practices from her. It was an honor. read more

Don't look any further! This is NOT a pawn shop! She is honest, and she shows you the selling cost and buying price, which is rare. She's the real deal. If you want to sell your gold for an honest price and deal with an honest person, look no further. read more

Mary went above and beyond helping us with selling a gold ring and finding us the place to buy a new mounting for the diamond.

Mary will explain everything 100% recommendation; this is perfect for people that don't know anything about the jewelry business- she also offers better prices than most pawn shops if you're thinking about selling your jewelry! thank you Mary!!! read more

Mary is great! She was available to meet with Me right away and took her time to go through different items. And if it was an item she couldn't assist with, she was able to recommend someone that she trusts in the industry as a referral for me to try... but she took her time with me and didn't pressure me .. and I felt confident that she was honest and gave me the true value of my items. I know she will make some money too and only fair. She knows what she is doing and saved me the time and hassle to take it to the next step. I would totally go through her again if I need to. read more

Mary was fantastic. Very knowledgeable on the market and quick to share her information. I'll be back for sure.

Just hosted a gold party with these folks after attending one hosted by Yelper De Anna L. I have to say, it was a little tough to find people who still had gold - so many have had their homes burglarized :( But, it was great for those who had gold to sell! My guests made money, I made money and De Anna even made money! It was a great way to rustle up some cash for the holidays. They buy all types of gold ~ white, yellow, and tri-colored. That can be unused or broken jewelry, coins, or even dental gold (though that is gross!). They also buy platinum and silver that is marked "sterling" or ".925". Jewelers will remove and return any stones that your guests may want to keep. And, you get them back along with your check right there on the spot! Hosting a party was really easy. I just called and picked a date. There was no back and forth or negotiating. They made the date work. I was sent an email to use as an invitation if I wanted (I used facebook). The buyer needs table space with good lighting and a nearby electrical outlet. They also raffle off cash prizes to those that sell gold at your party, and your guests can come in at any time while they are there so you can do an "open house" format. Unfortunately, something happened (hopefully nothing tragic) and the guy who was supposed to do my party could not be reached. Janet, the woman who schedules the parties, was so responsive -- calling me to check if he had arrived yet and arranging for a coworker to pick up the party. He was here in no time and was very friendly, polite and professional. Channel 15 Investigative Team compared gold buyers in the Valley and Valley Goldmine came out FAR ahead of the "competition" with the best prices! I would totally recommend hosting a party if you know anyone who still has gold! read more

Valley Goldmine - This little pile of 2 or 3 1980s mall kiosk necklaces and a thread-thin bracelet earned me $140! - Gold Buyers Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Tim & Ben from Valley Goldmine have done two gold parties for me at the salon. One in the fall of last year and one the year before. Both times we had an absolute blast. I'm not great in large crowds and each time they were the perfect hosts. They managed to get everyone processed and paid in an orderly fashion. All of the guests were thrilled with the money they made on their gold. Thrilled! Me too! Some of the guests had stones that needed to be removed from settings. Often times it can't be done on site so Tim & Ben take the items, remove the stones and send them back to the clients. Never a single hitch. Everyone got their stones back in a timely manner, safe and sound. These guys work their butts off, they're on time - come prepared and are so down to earth. The first time they came out I was half expecting some smarmy "WE BUY GOLD!" guys. Not so..very cool and personable. A few of my clients have even gone directly to their offices for private appointments. Everyone I've sent has been more than satisfied. Bonus- They did a party for Christina P. who attended my last party. Because she was a guest of my party, they sent me a check - - totally unexpected. I didn't even know they did that. I wouldn't even consider using anyone else! read more

When we decided to downsize some of our vintage gold pieces, I searched several websites looking for a professional and honest jeweler. We were so happy to find Mary. She was friendly, information and knowledgeable. She meets with her clients by appointment only, one on one, which we appreciated. She took the time to test and weigh each piece and explain its value. Highly recommend! read more

Valley Goldmine has done two fundraisers at my school, and that I do appreciate. Personally, I had one great experience with them and one unpleasant. For my first experience, I brought them my husband's ring from his first marriage. I very quickly got a fair price and was written a check right then and there. The second time they came into school, they had only one primary staff member there (which was probably appropriate since the attendance was far less than the first fundraiser), but as it turned out, I would have appreciated a second pair of eyes. This time, I brought in a gold and silver bowl that had been a gift from a Turkish boyfriend years ago. The guy seemed less than interested, and quickly dismissed me with "there's no stamp." That's funny, because when I took it back to my desk, I saw a stamp- in the middle of the bowl. I guess he didn't want my business, or maybe it was going to be too much of a hassle to figure out the weight and pricing for an unusual item like a gold and silver bowl, even though I was his only "customer" at the time. I sure wasn't interested in going back and arguing with him about it, given his demeanor. I know this business has been rated the best in the Valley, but I hestitate to use them again. And I have no clue where to take my bowl now. read more

I had some old 14kt and 10kt yellow gold items laying around. I took them to see how much I could get. I received a check for about $250, not a bad price. It was so easy, they were very helpful, and honest. I will definitely use them again. No hassle and very honest! I was in and out in about 15 to 20 minutes. Call Valley Goldmine first!!!! read more

I'm extremely late with this review, but I couldn't remember my password and the app hates me. Mary was extremely courteous and flexible. She met me at their office at a moment's notice and we able to conduct business very efficiently and comfortably. There was a slight dilemma with a hollow link gold chain that was 14K but it wasn't testing properly at first. Mary remained professional and personable as we worked through the testing. She offered a fair price for all my unwanted pieces. I would definitely recommend them as well as bring my business back to them. read more

I came across a gold ring and bracelet that I had not worn in 20 years and wondered what they may be worth. I was going to try to sell them on ebay but feared that buyers would be skeptical about their gold content. So, I came across the Valley Goldmine website. I sent an email and quickly got a response that the items were not really worth much as jewelery but they would give me 70% of the price of gold for 18k as scrap. I was very happy to know exactly what would get before taking them in. I met with Mike who verified the gold content and got a check for $1,250.00 for 54 grams of scrap gold. That was a lot more than I had paid for the items originally. I was very happy with Valley Goldmine's professionalism and payout. Wes read more

Mary was super friendly, straight forward and incredibly helpful. While I thought her spot price of gold she used was slightly lower, she more than made up for that with the time she spent with us going through hundreds of coins with us and sending us to a reputable coin dealer. read more

Went to Valley Gold Mine with some pieces left to me in an estate, after reading other reviews that recommended them as the best. I went in without an appointment, not knowing any better, but the manager, Michael, rushed back to meet with me anyway. He took the time to explain what he was doing, and I walked away with a check for an amount that was fair- more than I expected actually. It was a good experience - I'd go to them again without hesitation and would recommend them to others. read more

I was looking to sell some old family jewelry I've had since I was a kid. I went to one other place and Valley Goldmine offered me $100 more! I called Mary and she was able to meet me the next day at a location close by me. She went through piece by piece and showed me her process so I knew exactly what I had. I was intimated to sell my jewelry since I'd never done it before and you're always afraid you'll find someone dishonest, but my experience with Valley Goldmine couldn't have been better! read more

I feel as if these people are the Hank Hill's of gold buying and gold accessories. If you don't know what that means, let's just say that they run a very honest business. I set up an appointment and they called me to confirm, as well as sent me a text to remind me of my appointment. On the phone they were very pleasant. Once I got there, I was promptly seen and Mary went over everything I had brought to her. While doing so, she told me about everything she was doing while she was doing it. The weighing and testing was all done in front of me. I was actually surprised that the quote she gave me was similar to what I had already figured the value of the gold was going to be. She also gave me the web address to a recognized site where I could check on the value of the gold since I was not selling that day. She told me to check every day, and when the value went up I could come back to sell and get more money! Who does that? Overall, the appointment took about 15 minutes and was extremely informative. I would definitely return here when I need to get rid of some old pieces. They give you the tools to make an informed decision so you will hopefully return, instead of hassling you . read more

I'm very impressed. I submitted a request to meet on their website. Mary called me to gather additional information about my silver.
