This was our least favorite meal at the resort. It was still good but we wouldn't be dying to rush back there again. Some nights it seemed very busy and crowded with longer waits but we went on a Friday evening at 7 pm and got seated immediately. They were very few people there. The service was okay. Nothing special. For an appetizer we had octopus and it was too charred. The ends of the octopus just tasted like charcoal. The meatier ends were better but the charcoal taste lingered. We enjoyed the sweet potato chips and plantain chips in the bread bowl a lot. The four sauces that can with the bread bowl start from mild and get more and more spicy. Even the salsa verde, the least hot option, had a slight kick to it. The menu options had little symbols that accompanied the dishes stating if they were spicy, gluten free, vegan, etc. The fish tacos were very good but the sauce that accompanied it was so spicy but the dish was noted marked as spicy. We had the same issue with the shrimp po boy sandwich. The homemade tartar sauce that was on the sandwich definitely had a kick to it and really set in after eating the entire sandwich. The shrimp tacos were good but the tortillas were a darker color, more of a black or brown which was odd. The Cuban seafood torte sandwich was very good. The salad was delicious and good sized. The sandwiches and tacos came with your side options of sweet potato mash, sweet potato fries, French fries, baked potato, guacamole, or house salad.

Yo!!!! This green Dragon was by far THE best drink next to the Bloody Cesar. Had the surf and turf burger yummylicious.

Came three times , I guess that tells you enough. Service good, ambiance great. And you can watch TV. Should've been there tonight for the NBA finals.

Six of us went to Blue Fish for dinner just last week when staying at the Vidanta. I loved it, but at least two people in my group were not fans of seafood (crazy, I know) and there truly were only three things to enjoy if you didn't want seafood. Didn't bother me, but just fair warning for those who don't! The meal started off with two buckets of different kinds of chips, plantain, tortilla, sweet potato (so good!) and the table had about 6 different hot sauces, that was a lot of fun for us! Trying the different hot sauces. Our waiter was kind enough to bring around two MORE buckets of chips for those of us who were not keen on the seafood. My husband and I shared the salmon ceviche and truly, I haven't stopped thinking about it since. It was incredible. We each tried to take our time and savour it, but then wanted to eat it quickly so we could each eat the most of it. It was amazing. Highly recommend. For dinner I had the cuban sandwich and truly, I didn't love it. But the taters served with it and the sauce (Jalapeno aoili) was fantastic. I think I just made the wrong decision because I didn't care for the squid on the sandwich. My husband had the mahi mahi tacos, and I had one. They were really good! In addition, it was my father-in-law's 60th birthday celebration and they went all out. We got a little cake and they sang and made these firework like noises. It was so exciting and something we will never forget! If you like seafood, go here and please - try the ceviche, you won't regret it!

For those that are looking to head to Cancun the Mayan resort is the real deal. This is one of many restaurants at this location. Not like your normal, got my wrist band on now give me straight out of the freezer food. Nope his place could exist anywhere in the US and make it big. Had two different types of ceviche and both were flavorful. And there s more. Great twists on Mexican dishes primarily tacos.

Really enjoy everything WE had thank you Rodolfo for treating US like Queens

Place is nice and service was friendly too. Menu is OK. Food is just average. Main dishes are small and expensive for what is served.

Everyone at our table enjoyed their food and I undoubtedly had the best ceviche I've ever had in my life and I've had a lot of ceviche.

The restaurant ambiance is amazing as you're right on the beach with a great view of the ocean. They also had great music to provide fun energy to the place. The meal generally starts with items from their raw bar. This time we had a mixture of Hamachi, Blue-Fin Tuna, and Octopus. All of which were served together in an amazing sauce/dressing. They give you loads of chips and salsa's to pick at as well. For the main, they have a variety of daily catches that are (and sometimes aren't) available. We went with the Snook, which they let us hand pick. We also ordered it with Lobster tail and crab legs. Both were amazing and came with Garlic Butter sauce for dipping. The Lobster was my favorite. Additionally they gave us squid ink rice and creamy pasta to accompany the fish. Service was pretty solid as well and the team there is fun and wants you to have a great time. We had a group of 19 and they gave us an awesome experience.

We were drawn in by a fella play "Outstanding" 70's & 80's music, such as Journey, AC/DC, Bryan Adams, and even Santana. He was a wonderful performer. The walls are lined with various vehicle license plates. Most are from the US. All the staff was friendly spoke English well, which helped us stupid Americans who can't speak anything other than, not that great English As for the meals. There were four of us today and all our meals were great. Very filling large portions. The wifey had the Fish Tacos and she even let me try a piece of fish. She loved it and I have to say the fish piece had a wonderful flavor. I had the chicken and cheese quesadilla. Again filled with medium-sized chicken pieces. I'm a big eater and will tell you my 4 quesadillas filled me up. The wife and I had bottled sodas and my friends had beer. Lastly, I'm writing this the next day and as a traveler, like us, you might be concern about any "after effects." Well, there were zero! So I will say this if here - give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!
