Very tasty. Had the pasta on fire made inside the cheese bowl. Was worth it. Would definitely get again. Drink cart workers make delicious drinks as well.

Carpaccio Di Filetto, Canasta de Pan, Pesto Pasta, Con Gamberi

Ambiance of this restaurant is very lovely and the music was beautiful. Very notable customer service but they had given us a completely wrong order and immediately replaced it. However for the price, the dishes were underwhelming and only really satiates hunger. Pesto was on the oily side and lacked richness. The Carpaccio Di Filetto and the shrimp pasta was tasty. Canasta de Pan was complimentary with olive oil and balsamic which was nice. You come here for exceptional flavors but find yourself paying for overpriced food that definitely taste better elsewhere.

Our waiter was incredibly professional, friendly & efficient. Every food item was delicious! The meatball appetizer, salmon entree and wonderful desserts were highlights!

We ate at Tramonto one night as a nicer dinner option during our stay at Vidanta. We enjoyed our meal, beginning with wine and the grilled vegetable salad (came with a red pepper flake vinaigrette that was amazing!). For the main course, we both ordered the fire pasta with chicken. It was a really cool experience. They bring a giant wheel of cheese, light some vodka on fire, and make it all right in front of your table. So basically cheesy vodka noodles with chicken, but so good!! As Italian food lovers, we opted for after-dinner cappuccinos and cannolis. Their "cannolis" are just filled with different flavored ice creams. A hazelnut, chocolate, and pistachio. Not real cannolis at all sadly. We did see someone else order the tiramisu though, and that looked amazing! I would opt for that over the cannolis. When we got our bill, we were so disappointed to see that we had been charged $11 USD for a fancy bottle of still water, and we noticed all of the other tables had regular bottles. We didn't make a fuss about it, but our server had just asked "still or sparkling?", not "cheap still, expensive still, or sparkling?". $11 for water is ridiculous. The night we came, there was also live music that added to the ambiance, which was nice. But between the fake cannolis and $11 water, I wasn't impressed overall.

I came to Tramonto with my family for dinner during our stay at Riviera Maya. Admittedly, we were hesitant to go to an Italian restaurant in Mexico - would Italian food really be good in Mexico?! But we were starving and decided to give it a try. Our waiter was super nice and patient with us, explaining the various options. They gave us a huge amount of free bread - we literally had to stop eating it so we'd still have room for the main. I ordered the "pasta on fire". The waiter literally pushed a cart to our table and made the dish right then and there. The dish features a mix of vodka and Alfredo cooked in a giant wheel of cheese that lights ON FIRE. very very cool. It also came with chicken breast which most of the other options didn't unless you paid 110? pesos extra on top of the already high prices (mid 20s) for your choice of pasta with a sauce. The pasta on fire was around 23 USD I believe. At the end we ordered 2 desserts: cannolis with ice cream filling and a chocolate and caramel one I forgot the name of. They were both super super delicious but the cannolis were AMAZING. So so good , they give you this chocolate sauce to pour on top of 3 different flavored cannolis - a chocolate one, cherry and pistachio one, and a chocolate one with cookie toppings (I don't remember but that one was my favorite haha). Also, unlike a lot of the restaurants in the resort, they had a kids menu which my sister, 10, was super pleased with. The portions were kind of small though. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here!

Every time I visit Vidanta, I make sure to eat at Tramonto. The service and ambiance are outstanding, and the food is delicious as well. I have tried many dishes here, but my favorites are the antipasti appetizer and the mushroom risotto. Pro tip: Make sure to take an outdoor picture outside of the wine bar for the best views!

Tramonto is one of the fine-dining restaurants on the resort and that is very clear as soon as you walk in! They're only open for dinner and I do recommend making a reservation. My wife and I both got the ravioli al funghi porcini and it was easily the best meal we had on the resort. It's thoughtfully presented and the rich flavors meld together nicely. Even the breads in the bread basket were the best we'd had since arriving - the focaccia is especially good. For dessert, we got the cannoli and the iced ferrero and both will raise your expectations for dessert on this resort - both were phenomenal. They also make a mean negroni! The only downside was that the service was pretty slow. Note: if all the menu prices seem inflated, keep in mind a 16% tax and 15% gratuity is already included in EACH menu item's price. :)

Absolutely amazing service. 2nd time back to tramonto and this time was ASTONISHING. our server, Victor, was attentive & polite. He gave us above and beyond service. Food was absolutely amazing and the portion sizes were big. Piccante was on the spicy side so beware, but still very delicious. The four cheese pasta was SO yummy and the salmon was perfectly cooked. Side note: we found our favorite waiter, Alain, now working at Tramonto. We were so delighted to see him after two years and he was still amazing, super happy, and very knowledgeable. He truly made our experience at nektar two years ago & seeing him again made our entire trip! We love you Alain!

Service great food great and worth the price!!! The portion size is not to small but also not to big definitely recommend this place. The place was also super nice and clean.

Gilberto and his craft cocktail cart!

We had dinner here the last night of our honeymoon at the resort. Things we loved about it: - the food: we're gluten-free and the server made it easy to work with the chef to craft almost anything on the menu gluten-free including a beautiful and delicious antipasto plate! - the drink cart! Gilberto made a fabulous old fashioned and shared which ingredients he made from scratch - live music - the overall ambiance Things we'd recommend they change: - while we loved having the live music and it was songs we loved too, it was WAY too loud. We were sat at a table near the entrance and almost right next to the musician. We should have asked to move. We could barely hear each other talking. - the lights for the wall art were extremely bright, which made the entire restaurant even brighter and not necessarily the dark, romantic Italian restaurant we had expected Overall, we'd recommend this place and look forward to going back! -

Service is superior, aerials of the evening are mouthwatering, presentation is expert. Tuesday's is prime rib special, not overly advertised. Can't imagine a better place for a great meal, a special date or just want for excellent food. Not rushed, but service is quick. Cooked perfect each dish.

Vegetable salad is unique (called by fancier name)

We are here for first time while staying at Grand Mayan in Vitanda resorts. There is an excellent menu with lots of choices. The minestrone soup is excellent. The vegetable salad is unusual and excellent. Veal and shrimp main dishes were very good. Service was superb. It is an attractive restaurant inside with a nice wine bar. It is upscale for the area.

Great night out. Food was delicious and the staff was friendly. The only downside was our table wobbled like crazy, and where we sat there was like a high traffic area of wanderers "checking out" the restaurant. I also wish they enforced the dress code. My husband looked sharp and dressed so nice -yet men were coming in in swim trunks. The food and staff did not disappoint - very well worth it!!

Once we stepped onto the deck overlooking the lagoon, the whole experience elevated even further. The scenery was stunning, soft lights reflecting off the water, a gentle breeze, and live music drifting through the air like the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable night. Then came the food, each dish was its own little masterpiece. The bread service alone set the tone: warm, golden rolls with just the right touch off salt. The wedge salad followed. It was crisp, cold, and generously dressed, with smoky bacon and bright tomatoes adding all the right contrasts. The dry-aged steak was the star of the table, cooked perfectly with that deep, rich flavor only dry-aging can create. The roasted peppers and silky sauce on the side made every bite feel intentional. The octopus was another standout, tender, beautifully charred, and plated with a vibrant puree that balanced the dish with a touch of sweetness. One of the best plates we had. The table got more entrees since there were 8 of us but didn't get pictures. Sea brass was another favorite. Even the lobster soup arrived with flair: a velvety bowl paired with a seafood-topped toast that brought texture and richness together in one elegant bite. The beef tartare with fries was classic and fresh, refined without losing its fun. Dessert turned into a full performance. The liquid-nitrogen ice cream came with swirling clouds of cold vapor, dramatic and delicious. The birthday cake arrived crowned with berries and a sparkling candle that lit up the whole table. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any more whimsical, out came the towering blue cotton candy, playful, over-the-top, and impossible not to smile at. Harry's doesn't just serve dinner. It creates an experience, one where the service, the scenery, the atmosphere, and the food all work together to make you feel celebrated. Our night felt luxurious, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable for my husband's 50th birthday! Well done Harry's!
