I just have to say that yes it's cheaper and no it should not be compared Los Andes. They may both be of a Peruvian cuisine but that's where the similarities ends. The product you get here is ok and cheaper and that's ok if you're not too worried about the quality and the taste, atmosphere or the service. This is a small dated restaurant that offers no atmosphere what so ever. Definitely not a clean restaurant by any means. Table surface was tacky and looks like the floor was not swept. I see scraps and debris under the table. So this was the the order Stuffed avocado app ( wasn't available) 1/2 rotisserie chicken ($9.50 good not dried out, but it's rotisserie chicken) Picante de marisco ( $13.99 seafood in a spicy salsa, Missing the octopus, came w/ 1 clam 2 mussel 3 shrimp,and small pieces of calamari It was bland and definitely not a hint of heat in this "spicy salsa" Arroz con marisco ( $13.99 seafood rice, Missing the octopus, came w/ 1 clam 2 mussel 3 shrimp,and small pieces of calamari This dish was also lacking in flavor So the octopus was the reason we ordered the seafood dishes and was omitted from the dishes. One friend had the Lomo Saltado, which I tried and it was very good, and another had one of the other steak dishes, topped with a fried egg, and said it was great. He also can't have dairy and explained that to the waiter, who was very good at making sure nothing was cooked in butter for him. I wasn't going to get a drink, but my friends were drinking so I ended up getting the Pisco Sour, which was great. My friends said this restaurant used to be a lot smaller and then they expanded a few years ago, as well. I think there is street parking but I didn't want to have to find it, so I did valet - it's five dollars (plus tip) and they add it onto your bill. For some reason it ended up being $9.06 for our two cars, which I don't understand, but whatever lol. The only tiny nitpicky thing I have to say about this place is that the service was a bit slow. The waiter did check on us quite a bit, but the place was packed so I understand having slow service, it took a while to get our food. That being said everything was fantastic so I would definitely come back here when in the area.

Ceviche Mixto had a milder sourness, making it easy to put in mouth, but it was a bit monotonous, and the scallops were a little mushy. Jaleita was basically a smaller version of Jalea. Arroz con Mariscos was similar to Spanish paella, but it was noticeably more tomato-based in sourness, with a hint of cheese. The rice wasn't too soggy either, making it the best of the three. Lomo Saltado: A classic Peruvian dish, and well-made. The beef is very flavorful, emphasizing the tomato's acidity rather than the soy sauce's saltiness, and the gamey taste was well removed. A friend brought me and I tried Peruvian cuisine for the first time. I was very impressed with the quality and freshness of the ingredients, and according to my friend it was genuine traditional cuisine. The ceviche was outstanding, the fish super fresh, and the seasoning not too acidic (instead of tasting mostly like lime juice and onions as usual). The giant Inca corn served with it was fresh and tasty. One of my friends had an Inca Coca Cola which was yellow (!) and tasted like candy, and another had a purple corn drink that was flavored with cinnamon. I also tasted a delicious green pesto pasta with beef tips that were tender, smoky and not chewy. The guacamole with fried yuca was also delicious! Another interesting dish was the Leche de Tigre (I think that's what it was called) which was basically a cold fish soup served in a cocktail glass--sounds weird but I tried it and it was very good. I loved the fried seaweed that decorated the top, it tasted a little bit like fried calamari with a softer texture. Delicious! The waiter was extremely helpful and explained the menu in detail as we had lots of questions, and they were also very accommodating with the heat level which is always an issue for me. I was so happy to be able to enjoy flavorful latin food without burning my mouth!
