    3 sushi rolls
    Jacob D.

Purchased a groupon to this place a couple of months prior to visiting Detroit. So glad I did! Located in a prominent area of Detroit, free parking is located across the street at a parking structure (at least on a Tues night). Not very busy upon arrival as we had a late dinner. Service was prompt and our servers were very friendly. Started off with the spring rolls (veggie & fried). Ordered 3 sushi rolls for myself and my friend ordered the meatball ramen (which he asked for not spicy and claimed it was still spicy). Sushi was good but I didn't feel it was the freshest. My friend enjoyed his ramen aside from it being too spicy for his liking. Ambience is very casual yet classy still for dates and large parties. Redeemed the groupon with no fuss.

The sushi was good, no one was there so it was just us the place was clean the service was a little slow considering it was just two people in there but overall good

This place is spacious and waiters are thoughtful. We ordered the wild beef and tatam ramen. My husband's came out flavorful and mine lacked flavor. The Korean chicken wings were delicious, crunchy, sweet, and spicy. We had a good time.

I should be very thankful this place was open on Christmas Day but however very disappointed with the service. They are extremely slow and it wasn't that busy. They don't do a good job of explaining dishes either. We ordered chicken karrage, sashimi, veg udon noodles, crazy rice (chicken). Overall the food was okay. I'm assuming they're more known for their sushi's. Very nice atmosphere and super clean restaurant. Food presentations was excellent! They do a very cute sushi boat.

The service is was good at the start. There was an issue with my meal, didn't know it was raw. Asked if we can do anything about it the server gave me an attitude talking to me like I'm a child. I'm here with my kids. It was embarrassing. Shame on that server

Outstanding sushi and wings . I mean hands down the whole experience very enjoyable. I top that with noodles and a hibachi my favorite. The taste I liked in all my food because it was a different flavor. That in itself is rare along with a multi cultural staff that works together providing a calm setting. Now the food I got is what I call PINCHE DELICIOUS original. Hey I am from Texas not New Jersey. Nobody is perfect except us when it comes to Bar B Q. So make sure you drink a mango tequila sunrise here. Yes they have a good bar saki. That is all. Chief A faithful man when tempted battles evil.

I really want to give this place ALL five stars BUT there was ONE major drawback I hope they work on. The service! We were reviewing the menu and catching up as a group when we first got there. And instantly we were approached for our order. However, we weren't ready, then we were approached several more times by different people asking us to order. I'm not sure if they didn't coordinate, if they just wanted us out or what the issue was. We needed up ordering several things to try on the menu but the service never improved. The food was great though. They really make it all so aesthetically pleasing. So I would like to go back with friends I just hope the service improves.

Came with my cousins to try this place out and it did not disappoint! We got both flavors of the popcorn chicken, the beef hibachi noodles, and the kimchi fries. The portions were huge for the price and definitely shareable, and everything tasted great! Service was just okay. Ambiance was good as well. I definitely recommend if you want some good Asian food in Dearborn

Overall a decent restaurant with lots of options for sushi, ramen, and rice entrees. Staff is friendly and the environment is nice, but timeliness of getting your food can be improved. Of all the orders I've gotten here, the La Kalbi is one of their best items on the menu.

Great ambiance, pricing reasonable and presentation phenomenal. Service was kind and accommodating, and helped with the menu. They had sushi coming out on boats and hotdogs on fire.m, and smokey drinks. We were basic and had the ramen. Recommend: hibachi stir-fry-spicy and flavorful Creamy chicken ramen was just ok to me in flavor *All meat halal - which you know I love :-)

Presentation was so cute! They bring out the sushi on a boat. Sushi is tasty and fresh. My favorite was the Bonita roll because it had coconut shrimp and mango slices on top

One of the best places to have ramen in the area, specially halal. So much ramen for the price and it's halal. I keep going back. I have previously had the sushi too, and it's pretty good. My least favourite is the Bao, just not much flavour. The place look very nice, and clean. Perfect for family, friends or a date night. Typically I would have said 5 stars but today the ramen didn't hit the spot as it usually does, and service was very slow. I kept looking around for the server. We got our food and he only came back to us when we were almost finished eating.

I enjoyed several days of dining at various Arab restaurants on Michigan Ave, but visited Blue Fish to change it up. The restaurant accommodates a good number of people, even during prime dinner time. The menu offers a great variety including sushi, ramen, and standard Asian grill items. Ordering with several family members allowed us to try items from most menu categories. The highlights for me were the Beef Bao from the dim sum menu as well as several of the sushi rolls. The Creamy Chicken Ramen taste and quality were on par with most I've tried; the portion was very generous. The Chicken Yaki Soba was also portioned generously, but the sauce was far too oily for me. Service was consistent throughout the visit. I'd call this spot good, not great. Nothing was awful, but there are definitely hits and misses. I'm glad I visited, just not sure if I'd come again.

    Is the beef/chicken halal?

    Chicken!

How does the sashimi fare? Is it fresh?

I would recommend asking the chefs the best sashimi to have. It isn't the freshest fish I have ever had, but it is the freshest fish I have had in Dearborn... I hope that helps

It was my first time and I wanted to try a few things. I had the lamb smashburger, the butter chicken tacos, and the shrimp tacos with a cup of masala chai on side. Everything was on point. I don't have one complaint. The food came out hot and everything was full of flavor. The portions were generous, especially the meat on the tacos, although I would not have minded one more shrimp on each taco, and the burger had with plenty of fries. Everything was so delicious. It's really hard for me to pick a favorite out of the three dishes I had. I would definitely order them all again and I look forward to coming back so I can try some other things on the menu.

Their sign is easy to see as you drive by, but my friend did give me a heads up that their door was not obvious. You need to walk through a fence and then open a non deacript door. The artwork outside is awesome! When we walked in we received a friendly greeting and were quickly shown to our seats. We had made a reservation ahead of time and there was no delay to seat us upon our arrival. Our server was friendly and took our drink orders right away. I appreciated that they had multiple non alcoholic drinks and at a fair price. I started with the Thai Iced tea which was delicious, but I would have loved a glass 2x the size! We ordered multiple dishes to share amongst us. I did ask the server how many dishes they recommended that we order as I wasn't sure of the size. The items are brought out as they are made, so we had food being dropped off to is at random intervals. The only slight issue we experienced was when someone else tried to bring a plate of squid to our table. We let them know that we had not ordered it. They then went and talked to our server, who brought the squid back to our table. We also let them know that we had not ordered that dish. Our server did bring back our order slip and looked it over, and I believe at that point they realized that we really had not ordered that dish and just weren't rejecting it. I am not sure if it had been written wrong, communicated to the kitchen wrong, or what but we did have to state multiple times that we had not ordered it. The rest of our dishes arrived correctly. The crispy chive cakes were great, and the sticky spare ribs were AMAZING. The caramel glaze on the outside of the ribs was so good, and they were tender as well. The outside was super crispy. I would absolutely ordered these again. I would say that both of those dishes were only for 2 people. The sticky rice and jasmine rice were as to be expected, and I personally felt that the papaya salad was not as good as others I have had. The chilli noodles had an amazing broth and I would also recommend. Overall, I did enjoy our dinner but I am not sure that I would go out of my way to return. I am rounding up to 4 stars based on the sticly ribs alone, otherwise a 3.5 would be more fair. I have been hearing about Takoi for years, so maybe my epxections were too high but I was expecting a bit more.

Tapatio's premade ramen which has Artificial Beef Flavor tastes better lol My cousin said her Mongolian beef was a 3/5. So the Short Rib Bao Buns were nothing short of perfection. The pineapples gave it a phenomenal tropical taste and the bun itself was soft, chewy and buttery, the rib meat was tender, flavorful and easy to chew. I can't describe the taste you just have to try it yourself. Now let's get to this Teriyaki Bourbon Chicken. Mannnnnn, let me tell ya, there isn't foods that give me goosebumps much but this did it. The Chicken & the Collard Greens went well together, the mashed potatoes & the Chicken went well together, the mashed potatoes & the collard greens went well together, I mean everything was top tier as you could want it. Last night's dinner was nothing short of magnificent. We started with oysters and calamari that set the tone immediately -- fresh, expertly prepared, and beautifully presented. The shrimp was equally impressive. But the real showstoppers were the main courses: the lamb chops were cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor, and the branzino was delicate, flaky, and seasoned just right. Even the Brussels sprouts -- often an afterthought -- were a standout side that had everyone at the table talking. What truly elevated the evening was our server, Cel. His knowledge of the menu was exceptional, his recommendations were spot-on, and he went above and beyond by offering us -- a native couple and their cousins visiting from California -- genuine, thoughtful suggestions on things to do and see around Detroit. That kind of personal touch is rare and deeply appreciated. Zuzu isn't just a great Detroit restaurant -- it's a destination. Overall would stop in for some drinks /apps / sushi. But would not get an entree.
