I haven't been here in a while and stopped in after work. I tried the Spicy Kung Pao Chicken with medium heat/ spice and it was so delicious! The sauce was nice and peppery giving a nice zing and complementing the flavors of the diced celery, water chestnuts and zucchini perfectly! I love celery and water chestnuts in my chop suey type dishes, the crunch and texture are so satisfying. There were also peanuts in the dish for more crunchy goodness. I had white rice and a spring roll which comes with dinner. The service is always welcoming and attentive at the right times. Isabella was my server tonight and was very gracious as always. I wanted to try their cucumber salad but unfortunately they were out of it. Next time for sure ! The restaurant is spacious and very clean, staff are never idle and clearing tables, wiping down surfaces. They have a sushi bar/ chef as you enter but no chairs to sit there, otherwise you'd be in the way of traffic, drivers picking up orders and right next to the door. Another thing I love is their Jasmine/ green tea, it's comforting and tasty straight up. It was served in a beautiful ceramic cup, no handle, which was easy to hold and warm my hands as well! 6 years I have been coming here. This place is right around the corner perfect for me when I get that sushi vibe. I love the Las Vegas roll it's great. Covid really suck because this place had to shut down that was a major blow to my cravings. Family own never a dull moment here they are very attentive to you. This has a mix of Chinese, Japanese, Thai and a Korea bulgogi chicken or beef. The bulgogi chicken sounds good but so does the hibachi meats too. They have been here for 5 years. Went for a late lunch today. Ordered the Thai basil chicken, lobster miso, ginger salad and chicken bulgogi. Starving and hoping this place is good. The chicken bulgogi is made with chicken breast meat. Decent sauce for the bulgogi sauce, slightly sweet but not too sweet. The basil chicken was also good, fresh basil and dried basil in it with a side of white rice. The lobster miso was different, one chunk of lobster meat in it, hint of the lobster meat in the miso broth. It's a big bowl of lobster miso. The fried rice was okay, didn't have much soy flavor to it, oddly a yellow/orange color, could use more soy sauce to give it less of a yellow coloring and more depth of flavor too. The ginger salad was so-so, dressing was too creamy and had little to hint of ginger from what I could tell. They gave us a complimentary veggie spring roll with our lunch meal. Food and service were all decent here, food wasn't really good but wasn't bad either, average. They don't accept Amex here. read more

The staff was nice. I came in at 9:05 PM & they said they closed at 9:30 so I could only do take out, and I said that was fine & placed my order. Anyways, even if I had NOT found a bug in my salad, I wouldn't order from here again simply because the food wasn't good. Wonton soup tasted old, Crunchy Crab roll was not crunchy at all, I received very little ginger & wasabi which looked like it had been sitting out, the saving grace was going to be the salad but then I found the bug. Relaxing atmosphere and good prices. My friend and I met up to go over her wedding planning and the scene is calm and ambient. I like the set up inside as well as the fish tank. We we're sat immediately and were given our tea with no wait. They also had sugar already on the table. The menu was relatively large. I went with the bento box, it's a you choose from a variety of things in steps to build one and it costs around $13. Which is great if your new. You can try a few different items. My friend had the crab Rangoon which was very fresh(& hot !) she was blowing on it with a bite already in, lol a bit too late. The portions I felt were fair too and had really good flavor. The only thing was the friend rice that wasn't. Dodge that if you can. The server got us refills quite a bit and was quick to help and check up on us. My mouth, lips, throat and stomach were in fire but it was the kinda of heat/flavor that made you want to keep eating however I drank a pitcher of ice water trying to eat the 1/4 of it that I did. Every thing we ordered was very good, but it was all pretty basic. However, the 12.99 box is a deal that is hard to beat! We ordered the general tsos chicken, which was flavorful over the fried rice. I ordered the hibachi chicken lunch special with teriyaki sauce and white rice and it came with soup for only $8.50. Everything was hot, fresh and had a great taste. For some reason I always crave Chinese food on Wednesdays and the restaurants near where I live aren't open. Allen Park is close so I tried this place since it had good reviews. I was starving so I didn't get any pictures, but ordered beef bul goki and fried rice, goyza, steak and fried rice, and egg drop soup and everything was perfect. No complaints at all. My husband and I have eaten here (either dine-in or take-out) about once a week, on average, since they opened and I have never had a bad meal or a bad experience. The food was old so our order must have been done and just sitting there. Absolutely no plan on how to handle things in an efficient manner. We got the bang bang chicken- pretty much sweet and sour chicken sitting in a Mayo sweet sour sauce, spicy orange chicken- which was not spicy at all. And the chicken was SOO dry. Today was choice of chicken or teriyaki chicken, before it was shrimp or chicken with a choice of white or fried rice and of course my favorite...da da da yum yum sauce! Damn I love me some yum yum. Today we ordered apps as well, spring rolls (2) and Korean kimchi. The spring rolls at $2.75 yummy. The kimchi at $3.50.. not awful..well its fermented and super healthy perhaps an aquired taste? Not bad but kinda on the fence...it's healthy so that's good. Overall great service, nice atmosphere, great food and the bill was under 20 bucks. To me it's a win win! Pekin Tokyo is a gem and to boot a huge menu with many options I want to try, like the Singapore noodles as mentioned by a fellow yelper.
