    Blucy Lucy with Tots
    Andrew W.

Yeah honestly a pretty miserable experience at the Minneapolis St. Paul airport. The main reason I'm giving such a low score is for the negligent service. If you're trying to grab a quick meal while you're at this airport for a layover, avoid this place!!! The waiters are super slow, even if it's not that busy and with constant reminders. My entire experience here took almost 2 hours!!! A long time to get a menu, a long time to take my order, a long time to make my food, and finally, a long time to bring me my check. I was low key considering dine and dashing lmao. The food itself was also incredibly underwhelming. I decided to try the juicy Lucy, which is a regional specialty where the burger has melted cheese in the middle. My burger had like a tiny block of cheese in the middle. It wasn't even runny. Below average burger tbh, you could do better at Carl's Jr or Wendy's. The ambiance is alright, the venue has a couple of tvs playing sports. But the service overall is slow and terrible. Looking back, avoid Blue Door at the airport. You might miss your connection. The food on the airplane might even be better.

This spot is fine for an airport restaurant, but nothing worth going out of your way for. The space itself is great with tons of seating and a nice, open setup that makes it easy to relax before a flight. The salad was actually the highlight. It was way bigger than expected with super fresh, crunchy lettuce. Definitely exceeded my expectations for airport greens. Unfortunately, the chicken was a total miss. There was barely any on it, and the upcharge for the small portion was ridiculous. Service was extremely slow. I wouldn't recommend eating here unless you have at least an hour to spare before boarding because everything from ordering to getting the check took forever. All in all, it's an okay option if you're not in a rush, but between the overpriced add-ons and sluggish service, there are definitely better choices in the terminal.

We are blessed in Minneapolis for having a 5 star airport. Every single step of the experience is stellar. From the airport agents before security, to the fast & efficient security lines, to the food in the terminals - you can't go wrong. I'm not usually one to eat at the airport, but due to the timing of my flight I needed to eat something. Lucky for me, we have lots of options. I settled on a sit down staple - Blue Door Pub. This is an outpost of the brick and mortar locations in the Twin Cities. I started off with a giant glass of Sam Adams Octoberfest. Tis the season and all. It was the only Oktoberfest they had on draft and man was I feeling it. I then got a lighter meal, as I don't like to feel stuffed while on the plane (and know I will eat PLENTY of snacks). I got the Bowl-o-rama. This is lettuce, tomato, red onion, crema, green onion, cilantro coconut rice, avocado, and corn salsa. I topped it with grilled chicken for a little bit of protein. If you are in MSP Airport - you can eat here with confidence! ___

I am so impressed with Blue door! We searched for the best restaurants in the airport and this came highly rated. We have been to the location by the U and have always loved it. We arrived early for a dinner before our flight and I ordered the bacon blucy. It was exactly as described cheesy on the inside with lots of bacon bits. It caked with pickles so it was a good to have something some what fresh. My husband had a blucy as well and he ordered the tots. I thought paying for only one side of tots would be enough for the both of us and it was. Since the blucy doesn't come with a side of fries or tots just getting one order is the way to go. I thought the service was fantastic and food great! Will definitely be coming here again

Stopped to grab a drink and a snack before our flight. The cocktails were well made, especially the espresso martini. We tried the juicy blucy was which was nice as well. Our only complaint was that everything took a little longer than we expected.

Keep walking! This is airport dining so make sure you are in NO HURRY to catch a plane. My meal took well over an hour from sit down to payment. Understaffed and food is a major let down. Ordered their Classic Juicy Lucy and it was not even close to juicy or lucy! The burger was tiny and so overdone that it didn't have any flavor, and the cheese that is supposed to pour out when you bite in, was non-existent. Such a let down because this place used to be better. Burger, horrible, and tots were not much better! Over cooked too. My suggestion is that if you want "sit down" dining, eat before go get to the end of terminal C or go back to the fast food court and eat at Smashburger if you want a decent burger.

In Minneapolis International Airport in St. Paul, I was pretty starving. I stopped by The Blue Door Pub, hoping to find a salad. On the menu posted on the wall, I noticed they had the Bowl-o-rama salad. The Blue Door Pub has a very relaxed bar look to it. I ordered the salad, my travel partner got a beer. My salad was brought out pretty quickly. It was very large, but it wasn't super fresh. This salad had some nice flavors in it from the corn salsa, and from the cilantro coconut rice. The lettuce wasn't the freshest. There was also avocado, onion and tomato in this salad. The rest of the vegetables were pretty fresh. The waitress forgot to bring the beer. When she was reminded about it, she didn't charge us for it. The Blue Door Pub is a good place to get a quick bite or a beer at Minneapolis International Airport.

Great service. Great airport price. Delicious food. Iced cold fountain coke too. Yum.

I had the crispy chicken cesear salad. It was delicious! A great portion of all components. The dressing is a little untraditional but really good nonetheless! I sat down at 1130am and left at 1210, so I wouldn't recommend if you're in a huge rush. The service was good though! The space is cute and there's plenty of seating for all solo or group travelers. Would stop again!

Stopped here since it was one of the places with large seating. The sign when entering says seat yourself so I did, then proceeded to wait 20 minutes until I flagged down a server - who was extremely rude. An example of the rudeness- walked away while I was ordering (I was trying to order a burger and fries and she was walking away as I said burger, I didn't even get a chance to finish talking). I also try not to be rude to others, so it was not like I was yelling after her to call her back, I just let her walk away. Spent over an hour here waiting to order, waiting for food, waiting for the check. Since I spent so much time here, I can tell you for a fact that the restaurant is disgusting. Plates are cleared from the tables but NOTHING is wiped down. Tables are held up by crumpled up napkins (which is actually the only photo I have of the place). The food was ok, but knowing how gross the tables were I don't even want to think about how gross the kitchen is. I regret going here so much!

Food was ok. I had a rice bowl. Thought it was weird in the salad section. Well it turned out it was a salad with a scoop of rice along with a bunch of other stuff. It was good. Kinda dry but that was fine I'm trying to lose some weight. Wife's says the Cobb salad was very good. Lots of TVs with sports on. Nice place to kick back during a long layover.

Debated three stars, but the service (or lack there of) dropped it down to two. Our waitress was completely emotionless, didn't seem to want to put any effort into her job, and never even came by when we needed her. Walking up to it, you'd expect things on the slightly fancier or nicer side. Unfortunately was quite the opposite. The menu is very limited, and the food as well. Portions were pretty small for what you paid as well (yes, even by airport standards). Definitely a pass for next time!

The service is just... like laughably bad. Fire everyone front of house. Irredeemable. The bar tender too. Just clean house at this point.

I was just staying for the night and wanted to quick meal and so just decided just to take advantage of my hotel credits and instead of indulging in a drink decided to get some food instead. I settled on their smashburger and their chicken BLT sandwich. Both entrees came with a large portion of fries as a side. Price point was $21 for each sandwich. Since I had $30 in hotel credit to use up that not the total down to only about 15 bucks for both after tax. Judging from the fact that I paid $18 for a burger and fries in downtown minneapolis, the price point wasn't much higher. Quality-wise, both sandwiches were very fresh and had high quality ingredients. The portion size was big enough to leave my wife and I both full and satisfied. Would it be worth it to come here and just grab food without the hotel credit? I probably wouldn't but the next time I stay at this hilton, I definitely will make use of the restaurant since the food is good and the hotel credit as a Hilton diamond member makes it very affordable.
