You never know what you are going to get with a moving company and with the few moves I've done in the past 15 years I've been pretty lucky with decent service. I've used some local movers and some of the big names, and I have to say that these guys made this long distance move a great experience for us and I would highly recommend them. Andrew Wertz is the owner of the company. Apparently he purchased the company from someone else a while back and it was very obvious that he takes great pride in his work and holds his employees and contract hires to high standards. Everything was thoroughly explained and well coordinated for the move. The crew was very attentive to our requests and demonstrated the care of our belongings that you would expect for this price and level of service. While our stuff was in transit we received the appropriate updates as to the truck location and expected arrival time at destination. Packing and loading went very smooth and the only damaged item was a small MDF bookcase. Knowing that MDF furniture does not travel very well, I can't say I was displeased. That about summarizes it. Again if you are concerned about finding the right mover like we were, Andrew and his crews will handle it right. Great job.

    BAD BUSINESS!!! My…read moresister Jennifer used College Hunks franchise from Allentown to move on July 28, 2025. They guys damaged furniture and broke keys off in the locks on her toolboxes. She confronted them on the day of the move and they acknowledged that they did this in error. My sister opened a claim to have them repair/replace the keys with a locksmith because she is unable to get to her tools. As a recent widow - hence the need to move - she was doing everything by herself. Now she needs to hang shelves and TV's in her new home without her husband and she can't get inside the toolboxes to use his tools. She has called this company every week since her move. The phone number they give is to a call center and not the franchise owner himself. They keep telling her that someone will call or email her from the franchise - but they never do. Today she called and was told by someone named Evita that her claim was denied. She called me crying. She said they denied her claim because the movers said she told them to leave the keys in the locks. Who in the world would tell the movers to leave keys in locks? She gave them the keys so that could lock the drawers of the toolboxes so that they would not fly open when they moved them. I called and spoke to Calvin who said that there is no resolution that he could see in his system, and the claim appears open on their end, but he did see a note that said Jennifer was told the claim was denied - but he didn't know why. He said he would escalate a message to the franchise, and they would respond via email. I asked Calvin for a phone number for the franchise and was told they did not have one - everything was done through messaging. On a side note, on the day of her move, I spoke to my sister several times. They moved a shed and placed it hanging off the edge of the concrete pad it was supposed to be centered on. She said she smelled marijuana and assumed the guys were smoking pot. She also said one of them inappropriately flirted and made remarks to her. Having recently become a widow, I can assure you that she did nothing to encourage that outrageous behavior. They also broke a lamp and hid it behind a stack of boxes that she didn't find until weeks later. It was also a costly move. My sister was charged much more than the quote she received. And now on top of that, she will need to pay for a locksmith herself. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I will be making several reviews and calling the Better Business Bureau if they do not reach out to my sister by end of the week to make this right.
