Had a rear end collision a while back, and had heard good things about BAAB, so I gave them a try. They gave me a great detailed written estimate and were very helpful and cordial. About a week later I took it in. The other driver's insurance (Progressive) was paying the bill. The insurance company was a little intransigent at first and the two different estimates were way apart, but that was worked out. They did a beautiful job on my 9 year old car and when I picked it up it honestly looked like it had come right out of the showroom. Even washed it good. They painted my tailgate on a 2018 Tacoma. The first time the color was way off so I took it back and ask them to match the body color on the tge truck. It still is off. I will not go back. I'll go to The Body Shop in the Kings Auto Mall next time. They have a color match system. read more

UPDATE: When I went to pick the car up on Friday, they offered me a 10% discount on the repair. I am ok with that. Just wanted them to acknowledge the inconvenience I experienced...... Recently, my car was scratched in a parking lot. The dealer referred me to Blue Ash Auto Body. I took my car in for an estimate and was told the price for repair and given a date to drop th car off. I was told- "bring it in Monday, we will have it ready Tues/Wed". I just so happened to leave something in my trunk, so I went by on Tuesday to get it and my car was sitting where I parked it - UNTOUCHED. I went inside and asked when my car would be done and was given some excuse about an employee calling off work. I was then told "it will be ready on Thursday". It is Thursday TODAY. When I called to see when I could pick up my car, I was told it was being being worked on TODAY and that I could get it TOMORROW. I'm super frustrated- mainly because it is SUPER inconvenient to not gave a car fo, and they didn't offer me a discount or ANYTHING. 10% would have lessened my frustration. Took my car in due to a sideswipe needing body work. They did it all...contacted the insurance company, provided a quote, completed the work beautifully on my 2018 Genesis. Here's the thing, they even fixed a couple of things above and beyond the quote. Months later something was dragging from the bottom of my car just when I had to head out of state for my mothers funeral.I called them and told them I was a past customer and asked if they could squeeze me in. They fit me in the next day! The repair was very minor as a protective shield under my car had lost bolts securing it due to an oil change at the dealer. They fixed it immediately, charged me nothing, and expressed their sympathy . Good work, and great guys! read more

Honestly, seem like nice enough people but a repair for my Tesla, it was rear ended, was estimated to take 4-5 days took 4 weeks. You make different plans for 4-5 days versus 4 weeks. There was a disclaimer from them if other problems showed when the bumper was taken off, it could be longer. Of course there were additional issues, but the expectation was set that it would still be done at the end of the second week. This is where you get in trouble with Blue Ash which is just super poor communication. Get ready to be the person to initiate communication to check in and be prepared for a standard response from them of "oh, uh yeah I was going to get back to you..." and then the reason for the delay. Long story short, it never completed second week with no call and then Monday the following was the day. I call back Tuesday and they broke a tool (they don't have backups) that took 2-3 days to get a new one but Friday was the day in week 3. Friday came and went and nothing. Monday call from me and it'll be done now Wednesday which came and went and eventually I called every day to irritate them to get my car back. The repair on the bumper was done pretty well but not great. Missed painting on the inside of the bumper. The area of repair was dirty as was the car in general due to them having it in a shop for 4 weeks. I had to clean my windshield on the way home it was so dirty. They were supposed to fix a door ding that did not get fixed... they popped it out and looks like they used white out to touch it up. It was bumpy and missed spots. They are the only certified repair shop for Tesla in Cincinnati. I'd suggest going to Columbus if you can. If you can't be prepared for the worst case scenario. This was a back bumper fix, I can't imagine what it would be like for big damage. Go somewhere else! read more

I had the unfortunate happenstance of having my brand new (8 days brand new) 2021 Tesla Model S rear ended by a car in between another car going full speed while I was stopped at a stop light. The Tesla dealership referred me to Blue Ash Auto Body and I was apprehensive until I made that first phone call. They were polite, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. On Tesla social media you often hear horror stories about turn around times, but Blue Ash ordered my parts in advance after a phone conversation and gave me a week to week and a half estimate to which they held to, despite extensive damage. I picked up my Tesla today and it looks exactly (or even better) than when I first had it for 8 days before it was wrecked. Not to mention they also made my rental car return seamless (just gave them the keys) and they took control of all necessary conversations with the responsible insurance company. I hope that you never need to deal with needing collision repair, but if you do, definitely use this shop! I will be using them for all of my auto body needs and maintenance for here on out because of the wonderful experience that I had. read more

Poor communication, car was originally said to be repaired in 8 business days. Dropped it off 3 days before it was scheduled to be. Then it sat in the lot for almost the entire week. until we called to check on it. Then they told us it would be 11 business days to be fixed. They were still four days late on getting it fixed (15 days). When we finally were able to pick the car up it had shop dust all over it and was not cleaned or detail. everything They fixed could have been done at any body shop. I see no reason to take a Tesla there. read more

Tricky review to write. I was involved in a hit and run, as in someone hit my parked car and ran. Boo. Anyway, the driver side door was busted. I could open it from the inside, but not the outside. And no wonder. There was a huge dent in my car door. I only carry liability, so I knew unfortunately this was going to have to come out of my pocket. My regular mechanic recommended Blue Ash, and they were super friendly on the phone. I brought the car in, explained the situation, and someone went outside to perform an estimate. Fifteen minutes later he comes in and informs me I'm going to need a new door, claiming the bar inside my door is broken and therefore it's not safe and that my door handle is broken. He then informs me that it's an expensive fix because, first, there's the door, and then they have to paint the whole side of my car to make sure the color matches perfectly. We're talking $2,000 expensive. Ummm...maybe they're used to dealing with people who have insurance companies footing the bill, or with really wealthy people? But that's a bit steep, especially when I'm pretty sure the value of my car is something like 5K. I'm also informed the repair is going to take a week, so now I'm going to need a rental (we're a one car family), also out of my pocket. I get it, none of these are Blue Ash's fault. It's the fault of the person who hit me, and my fault for not carrying coverage on my car. I'm trying to come up with a less expensive solution, all met with 'No.' I also get it. If you're going to do a job, you want it to look right, because you don't want people to associate my bad job with your company. I do wish though that he had been more game to help me problem solve rather than act like, 'It's my way or no way.' Or maybe it was more like, 'It's my way, or I don't care what you do.' Again, that's totally his prerogative. He's got every right to think that way. I drive away without committing and begin making calls to the hubby and to friends, 'What would you do?" Hubby and I agree before doing anything, we want to take apart our door and confirm the bar is truly broken. Is this really a safety issue, in other words. We meet up with a friend who has some experience working with cars. He helps us open up the door. Sure enough, the bar is intact. The only thing broken is the door handle. So we fix that sucker with a little duct tape (later I can get a new handle if I need to). Then we pop out the dent. It's not perfect, but definitely less dented then before. And now I can open my door from the outside. Problem solved. Do I wish there was no dent. Yes, of course. But I'm going to have to find a place that will just repair the (now smaller) dent and handle for less than the value of the car. I don't need perfection. So basically, if someone else is paying, this is your shop. They'll make your car look beautiful, I'm sure. If you're paying, go some where else. read more

I have had Blue Ash Auto Body work on a number of my cars over the years, from Porsche. to Audi to a 69 Mach1. always a great job done looks new when you pick it up. Most of these jobs were paid for out of pocket, not the insurance company. You have to make a decision up front when you're having someone work on your car- do you want it done correctly or do you want to have it fall apart in a year or two or be unsafe. I have used less expensive shops in the past - let's just say you get what you pay for. The girl who did a review and rated these guys 3 stars should be publicly flogger (just kidding) but she never had any work done, she had an est- you would have to figure something was broken inside the door (it was) and you have to love the homemade repair with duct tape. Anyway, these guys to it right, you will be proud of your car again and it will hold up well over the years read more

I took it somewhere else first. that other shop was rude and made me wait a long time to talk with my estimate. i switched to Blur Ash and was glad I did. they were responsive, friendly, and did what they said.
