They said it would be fixed in one day; it took two. When I questioned why he charged me for five hours of labor for a 2-hour job he got very defensive. Yelling at me, his place is a five-star place. Telling me my check wasn't good. He questioned my honesty and my integrity. He had me shaking and in tears. Yelling at me that it was a five-hour job, and I had no right to question his work. Yet every mechanic I talk to said it no more then a two-hour job. At $90.00 an hour for labor, a total of $180 instead he charged me $450. I feel taken advantage of and victimized.

The amount of work that needed to be done was extensive and I was completely out of my element with what to do. I'm so glad I came to Center City. I don't want anyone to miss these key points I experienced so if you only read a little know this: Center City Collision has: Great Customer Service, Commitment to Quality and Safety, Excellent Communication. And here's why: Great Customer Service: I closed on a house the day my car was supposed to be ready and Chris told me not to worry and to just reach out to him when I was ready; that impressed me. The day I picked up the car, I called ahead and asked if they could check the gas tank (I seriously had just filled it up before the accident and after buying the house and paying for the car, I was a little budget conscious, lol). The receptionist (I can't remember her name but I know she's getting married so I want to give her a shout out ; )) gladly checked the gas level for me. Randy helped me get me situated in the car when I picked it up and encouraged me to contact with ANY questions or concerns. They also covered the rental car costs after my insurance coverage was up. Commitment to Quality and Safety: What impressed me the most was that they truly stood by their words that safety and quality were the most important considerations. There was a sensor that they could not reset without special equipment. They partnered with another shop, which spent $1K to update software, to be able to reset the airbag sensor. When that didn't work, they worked directly with the Subaru dealership to have the problem fixed. Excellent Communication: Due to the amount of work that needed to be done (basically had the front end of my car rebuilt), it took several weeks for the repairs to be completed. Chris contacted me consistently to give me updates and explain what was going on with the car. That sent my mind at ease. After the accident, the communication with the tow company and my insurance were not at all proactive. This was not at all the case with Center City. They made what was a pretty traumatic experience have a positive ending.

She said she was told by her management they are only scheduling estimates and repairs for customers WITH INSURANCE CLAIMS or going through INSURANCE COMPANIES. Pardon me? Your company would prefer to pay a reduced pre-negotiated rate and wait to reimbursement than receive full payment in cash at the time services are rendered? Well, ok. I suppose my CASH MONEY spends just as well elsewhere. Poor business model folks, but I wish you all the best.

I got a new truck and wanted to get the windows tinted. I called earlier in the day and made an appointment. I get there, tell Mike why I'm here and he tells me I need to make an appointment. I tell him I have one, and he tells me he is running behind and it'll be atleast an hour wait before he can get to me. I told him that wasn't possible and I made an appointment to prevent this. He was apologetic but had no solution. I wasted 90 minutes driving here and back home. This new location didn't appear to have any waiting area, let alone ample parking. Maybe business is so good that organization and scheduling is slipping through the cracks? Either way, I will no longer return. I've had great service in the past. I WAS a repeat customer, but no more.
