He checked the whole car for other stuff that could have been a possibility of failing then found the problem, called my warranty company an got it approved did the work quickly an got my car back to me in a timely fashion! I bought a used Jeep and usually do most mechanical work myself, but I had an issue with a leaking…read moreaxle seal after taking a trip to Utah and didn't feel comfortable dismantling the front axle.   I looked around locally and after talking to Ethan and Jason I felt comfortable with them and the team did an excellent job on the repair.    The work was done on time and for the amount of the estimate.   I drove the Jeep for a few weeks and then I had the engine light come on.    Like I said I do most of my own mechanical work, so I diagnosed the issue as a faulty EGR valve.    I did the research to see what was involved and again decided it was more work than I wanted to undertake, so again back to this shop and the work was done on time and for the estimated amount.    And I'll say compared to dealership estimates Hilltop Performance was MUCH MUCH less expensive.    I would not hesitate to recommend anyone go here to get work done.

The fair, simple negotiation and process to get everything sorted was awesome. No extra back and forth or drawn out process to add warranties and extra costs. The truck I came in for was in need of tires, and I wasn't sure if that was something I would have to pay for on top of the listing price, or if it could be negotiated, etc. The first thing Bob told me (before I even brought it up) was that he won't sell a car with bad brakes or tires. He had the tires replaced with a quality set, even had a second key made, and the truck was spotless when I finally picked it up. Id rate them a zero. Have had multiple incidents that they have told me things were needing done…read morethat didnt. Didnt go back for a couple years and then went back for an oil change. Was told i needed new brakes and tires. 400$ for new brakes and 700$ for 4 tires. Doing them ourselves, when we took the brakes off the old brakes were at 8mm. New brake pads are 10mm! So they lied that the brakes needed replaced. Better name brand tires at Costco with longer warranty were 584$. They are such a fraud. And if you are a woman they will surely try to sell you crap you dont need. Have someone look at it before you have them do anything.
