My poor little 2014 Ford Focus couldn't outrun its famously troublesome transmission. I was quoted $9k to fix it which was more than I paid for the car 5 years ago in the first place, so decided not to move forward with the fix. I especially liked that they sent me a link via text to a full written workup of everything they looked into with the car, it was even color coded to show what needed immediate attention and what I could theoretically wait to address. As someone with little to no experience with cars, they made it easy for me to understand what was wrong, and for me to share what they found with the people in my life who know more about cars than I do thanks to that digital documentation.
