These guys had my car to repair a leak, which I suspected was either transmission or power steering fluid. They told me it was power steering fluid and charged me $1700 to repair it. It was still leaking after service so I took it to the dealer, who told me that the transmission is shot and has been for some time. 'Ol Ricky feels it is a waste of his time and essentially me "stealing money" from him to ask for an estimate on how much it would cost to fix my car. Peggy answered the phone and politely explained that they were booking kinda far out. I said that's fine, I'm calling places to get an estimate so I know the best price and how much to sue the other driver for. She puts me on hold and Ricky answers the phone. So I start to say what I called for and he said "you're just wanting a bid and I'm not interested in writing that for you" I say ok and he hangs up on me. He could have been the cheapest option and the one I went with, but he'll never know now. My coworker called to defend me and that's when she was informed of Ricky's thoughts on the matter. I live close by so I decided to see if I could get an appointment to get my car aligned. I called and was offered an appointment the very first thing the next morning. So I drove my car down with my dog and we walked back home. My car was finished within an hour and a half. I walked back down with my dog to pick my car up. I ended up spending a good 20 minutes talking to the fellas that worked there and the owner. What a nice bunch of guys! The owner was personable friendly, and made me feel comfortable as a woman trying to get things done on my own, he thanked me for my business told me he hope to see me again. I honestly will take my car here for any service they offer. I felt like the value was good, the service was great and in a world full of corporate companies, a mom and Pop shop close to the house is like a dream come true. $88 for a computerized alignment! read more

My van was hit while it was parked in front of our house. We had it towed to Burtons. The tow guy was real nice and helpful. The insurance called me and said it was most likely a total loss and that they would come tow it to a non storage facility lot (probably to be auctioned off). Steve was real nice and said he'd hold our keys and not release the vehicle until we have all our belongings out. So we didn't end up having anything fixed, but I wouldn't hesitate to go there again if we did need a fix. The people who work there seem honest, nice, and helpful. read more

Solid autobody work and fairly seamless integration with my insurer despite two supplementary estimates after the insurer's initial one which was found premature. They were able to sniff out replacement parts independently from the insurer's mandate and estimate and came in a few hundred dollars cheaper than two other garages price-matched before final decision. read more

Called Burton's 10 days or so ago to get a quote on painting over some scratches on a 2021 Porsche. Burton's has done many repair jobs for us over the years leaving us more than satisfied. We bragged on them! But not now. Ricky blew us off! After examining the car and telling us he would email a quote..........nothing happened for nine or so days. So I called him. He said he did not quote or contact me because he was too busy and to take it somewhere else. How are you supposed to react to that kind of response? Hurt, pissed and disrespected. They sent their wrecker & towed us to the repair shop and went the extra mile late in the day to make sure we were road worthy again. I found Burton's online while looking for a repair shop after I was rear-ended. They had good reviews and the shop is conveniently located near my home. This was my first wreck and first time getting my vehicle repaired. Burton's and Steve Burton made it easy. I really appreciate the service and professionalism. I was clearly a fish out of water, but I felt comfortable leaving my vehicle with Burton's and was never made to feel dumb. Steve assured me that the shop would work within the quote from the insurance company, and if they found any additional damage, would work directly with the insurance company to get an updated quote and get the repairs done. That's exactly what happened. Steve called me and explained they found additional damage that wasn't included in the original quote. He'd already gotten a new quote and approval from the insurance company and the parts were ordered and on their way. One of the parts was a rear bumper cover that was different than the one that had been damaged. Steve took the time to email me pictures of the new cover before installing it to make sure I liked the way it looked. When I picked up my vehicle, it had been cleaned and the gas tank had been filled. Steve also made sure I was satisfied with the repairs in person. Overall, it was a great first experience with an auto-body shop. I will definitely be referring my friends to Burton's if they have any vehicle damage, and I will be coming back if I have any other damage in the future. read more

I have had body work done here a few times and my mom takes all her vehicles there for mechanics. You can always count on a fair and honest estimate of your problems and costs associated. I went back here in February 2018. I read on Next Door app. and had good reviews. Car seemed like it needed a alignment. They checked out and said I would have to have new rims/tires due to being bent (potholes?) and it would cost $1000. Now I know potholes can be damaging, but in Ohio, to have to do this every year? No. They had to put the tires back on. I asked if an alignment would help. They said no. Charged around $90 to get the tires back on and nothing resolved. We had nothing good happen during our short experience with Burton's Collision. Our van was towed to them after an unfortunate accident and we never received word they received the van. We called later that day and they said it had just arrived even though it left our house 3 hours prior and they are 20 minutes away. After discussing the van with them they required us to fill out paperwork and sign saying that we would agree to their estimate that they would be making in the future. They also said if we didn't agree to their estimate we would pay for the car to be put back together. We decided not to sign the papers and had our van immediately transferred to another shop whom were much more professional and made the estimate prior to any signing of papers. We would never use this shop in the future. read more

We found Burton's on Google and took our car there due to their excellent reviews which we found to be absolutely valid and deserving. Dealership told my husband that he needed diff seal repair on his car and quoted over $2000. Duane inspected the car and said we did not need it - walked away with a $140 repair and very happy with our new mechanic! I grew up 5 minutes from this place but had never taken any of my vehicles there for mechanical or collision repair. I was rear ended a couple of weeks ago and because the insurance company (Allstate) recommended Burton's for the repair, I figured I would give them a try. After the experience I just had, my only regret is that I have not used Burton's prior to this. From the beginning of this process to fix my truck, Ricky was great to work with and kept me informed as to what was going on the whole time. Not only did they get the work done quickly and professionally, when I went to pick it up today, I was absolutely shocked to find out that they completely detailed my truck to make it look as good as the day I picked it up when it was new. In a time when exceptional customer service is hard to come by, I felt it was my obligation to let people know that my experience with Burton's was very exceptional. We have had several unfortunate auto accidents including a deer strike; a hit and run in a parking lot, a t-bone in our HHR and a backing accident over the past 10 years. Hello. I was referred to this auto/collision shop for a repair to my Mercedes Benz(pothole damage) So this tech(body shop side) came out to review the tire/rim damage. He asked me to leave my tire/rim with him. I told him I was not leaving it with him seeing that I only wanted to have an estimate, and asked him what would be the estimate. He said "I will tell you what, put the tire back in the car as we do not want your business.. all I wanted was an estimate first before I was going to let them do any work. Totally unprofessional. I would not recommend them, as they gave me the impression of being dishonest and disrespectful. It was my first and last experience with them. Please treat your other customers with respect. My car has been squeaking ever since a collision about 3 years ago that was repaired at the dealer. The dealer insisted nothing was wrong with my car most likely because they didn't want to pay to fix their mistake. Burton's not only found the problem and fixed it they also gave me a loaner car for $2 since my insurance covers rentals. Burton's only uses parts supplied by the dealer which are higher quality and sometimes come with a warranty. Excellent and patient customer service from Duane and his employees. I highly recommend as someone who knows very little about cars. read more

Horrible people, had them rebuild a motor in a Jeep Cherokee. Motor only lasted 10K miles and blew up, talked to Duane Burton and basically told me to get screwed, this is after 5K I spent. I would not let this company work on a bicycle. If you want to throw your money away, hey go ahead and use them. read more
