I had some rust repair and bumpers repainted on my 2005 Durango. The cost was $1200 cash. The price seemed reasonable. By paying cash they offered to not charge any sales tax. I was told to do the work properly the bumpers would require stripping and a new partial fender piece would be used (welded in) to do the repair properly. The work took much longer than they told me. Finally when it was completed, in many ways it did not look like a professional job. Within a few months, the welded piece separated or cracked and it looked like it had only been tack welded and filled over. The rear bumper peeled and it was obvious it had not been stripped. I told a friend about this who had recommended them. He told me that they guaranteed their work and that I should show it to them. They acted as though it was no big deal to straighten it out ,but this took even much longer than the initial repair (months). Finally I got my vehicle back and after a few months the weld is becoming very obvious (it hasn't cracked yet) and the flat black paint they put on the bumper to disquise the already peeling paint has largely peeled off. In conclusion, I would never go to Monfort Heights Auto Body . The price may be reasonable but because of the poor workmanship in the long run it will cost you more. read more
