I love BLTea!! I always try to make the 15min drive just to get boba here. Wish it was closer but the drive is worth it. I've been coming here ever since they opened and I'm happy that they added more drinks to their menu. I honestly love all their drinks I've tried so it's hard to recommend one or two. I really like the orie coco. I recommend that to people who like chocolate-tasting drinks. It's refreshing and not thick at all so it's really delicious. I love their newest drink series, the oreo cream cheese drinks. I have tried the oreo mint matcha and the regular oreo cream cheese milk tea. Both are so delicious. I always get my drinks with 75% sweet and it's perfect. Not too sweet or bitter. They also offer oat milk as an alternate option to regular milk. I love to add tiramisu or creme brûlée toppings to my drink. So tasty. The only con is sometimes they forget a topping that I add to my drink. Sometimes boba or grass jelly. But it doesn't happen often so I don't want to take off a star. I definitely recommend this boba place. High quality milk teas. None of their milk teas or teas taste artificial or syrupy. My coworker took me to this spot since it was within walking distance. It's a cute little place with quite a bit of drink options. They also make Waffles with different topping choices. I asked the cashier what the organic black sesame drink was made out of. She stated that the black sesame cream had no dairy in it and can substitute oat milk with it. I thought the drink was alright. It needed more of the black sesame taste to it. My coworker ordered the waffle with Nutella on top. It took at least 10 minutes for them to prepare the two. They smelled really good. My coworker stated that the waffle tasted pretty good. The employees were nice. This spot seems popular since people kept coming in after us. I am a bit particular when it comes to boba so i get really excited and go out of the way to visit BLTea. I personally have tried their jasmine milk tea (6/10), ube (8/10) and their custard boba (8/10). I like the texture of how they make the boba, they have tons of options, some of their visual displays are for beverages which aren't available so it's good to ask but ultimately I am sure they will have something for you. read more

Was actually looking for some coffee after 8:00 pm and this popped up as an option because of their Vietnamese coffee. Didn't get any coffee but I did get two drinks and was pleasantly impressed. The ube drink was delicious, though on a personal preference note would have liked a bit more of the ube spread as the milk notes were too dominant. The Twilight Lychee drink was nice, it was balanced and had great flavor. Very intrigued by the creme brûlée drink, will have to try it next time. This is hands down one of my favorite coffee shops. There's a shared private parking lot available in the plaza it's located in. I personally tend to opt for street parking which is also conveniently available on the residential side of the entrance. The spots are a tad bit smaller for my comfort and boat sized vehicle. They've got a stamp card that you can work your way up to a free drink with. The menu has a bunch of drink options available, hot and cold. Mainly cold. Their Vietnamese coffee is a certified banger. I added creme brûlée for a little razzle dazzle and wasn't disappointed in the least. The biscoff situation is giving everything it needs to give although I may be a bit biased due to the fact that there are cookies in the coffee and I love me some cookies. Speaking of cookies, they've got what looks like homemade chocolate chip and a little chocolate s'mores cookie garnished with melted marshmallow. I swear, it's like they've got ESP or something because by the time you order, your drink is hot and ready for you. The setup is super cute inside and definitely chill worthy. Wallpaper art covers the main wall. There are a couple of tables setup along with two couches, so you could definitely come in and get some work in with available wifi, or hang out with some of your folks for a quick pick me up. Their size small is the smallest I've seen at any boba shops, and I've been to plenty. I paid $4.50 for a kid sized boba milk tea. My coworker ordered a large drink and 80% of it was ice. Literally finished the drink before we got back to work which was less than a 5 minute drive. Tip: when you order your drink without ice you lose quite a bit of your drink as they do not fill it up. I woke up from my nap yesterday and when I checked Instagram, I saw BLTea. It showed me the Ube Brush Stroke drink of theirs so...I drove out there to get myself one! I'm used to getting boba from Northridge so this felt like a bit like a gamble but ZERO REGRETS. Out of all the places where I've ordered ube drinks from, BLTea kills it! Tastes amazing and makes me wish I lived closer so I can get it all the time! I also got their matcha tornado which was very delicious -- it wasn't bitter nor was it overly sweet. Mood - Tea Upon entering was greeted with great customer service. We had questions that were answered with ease, even great suggestions were given as well. The menu is on the wall as well as a handheld on the counter. We opted for the BLTea Oat Mt with boba and Orie Coco. The Oats used are an Asian oat and not as sweet. We went in today, got there at 11:45 and they were closed. Apparently they don't open until noon. That was fine, we waited in the car for them to open. Right at noon a group of two walked in ahead of us. They both got a drink. When it was our turn, we ordered three drinks. It took 20 minutes for us to get our drinks. The drinks were good. Nothing special, but good. There were three girls working at the time, and none of them greeted us. They didn't smile or try to make any conversation. It was a little uncomfortable. The reason I wanted to write this review though is because the place looked very dirty. The couches were completely stained all over. The floors were sticky and grimy. The plants inside were all super dry, dying of thirst and covered in dead leaves. The walls were dirty and the glass that separates the machines from the dining room were very dirty. Considering they had just opened for the day I would expect the place to be clean, as nobody had been in there that day. Overall, I think three stars was very generous to give them. read more

Found this place during a boba craving while stuck home for quarantine and thought it would be a good time to satisfy my cravings. The store was super cute even though I only went in to pick up the boba that I ordered by call. The black sugar fresh milk was super good. I've gotten this drink from every boba place that I've gone to and would definitely say that BLTea does theirs well. I really liked the sweetness of the drink and firmness of the boba pearls. The ube was also really good. I personally really like ube flavored drinks and this did not disappoint. I got it with brown sugar boba pearls added but it was a bit sweet and will probably get it with regular boba pearls next time. My sister (in the picture) tried it and said that I needed to get her one next time too. Definitely my favorite boba shop in the Valley! I live in West LA, but honestly the drive is super worth it. My friends and I drive over whenever we get cravings, which is all the time. After receiving the notification of our order being cancelled, we ended up just driving over to the boba spot, very inconvenient and not what we planned. We were about to place our order and I started telling the girl about how we waited over an hour because of DoorDash and she looks over at our order that was sitting there on their counter, cold (ordered waffle dessert) and melted and just hands it to us. She didn't even offer to make us fresh ones and at that point I was already exhausted and frustrated. I got the ube with black sugar boba and I am enjoying the taste of it as well as how pretty it looks. I haven't tried the other drinks but I see myself going back here weekly if not more often.
