Since that other restaurant's wait-list wasn't moving, I decided to have dinner at SJC. The night's special was the Beef Dip and the Grizzly Paw. That worked out well! For the side dish, I chose the Mac and Cheese. Truly one of the best I've eaten. Great experience at St. James Corner.

Easy to find in Silverado (not the town in the movie of the same name). Kildaires' is nicely decorated and split into restaurant and lounge. They also have a nice patio and a private room that would be good for a small group. As luck would have it Wednesdays are half price wine and pizza is on special. We started with an Argentine who was very good....wait, that almost got weird. An Argentinian Malbec and an order of chili-lime mussels. Mussels were great. The attentive server brought a pizza to the couple next to us and I was all like "WTF is that?" And she said it is cheap pizza night and I was all like "I am down." Ordered the Italian. Excellent is all I can say! Give this place a try!!

Very well done although they forgot the dip for the beef dip but that was fixed quickly. There is plenty of parking outside and it was easy to get to. Would come here again.

Unfortunately my wife and I have had bad service, bad food ( as in the shits the next day), or just portions that don't reflect the price. I will be honest, the service has changed to the better now, and the waitresses even during the busy times are pretty consistent with our service and orders. Dicksons needs a make over, the pool was free but there's a ball missing, the upper bar is permanently closed. The beer is hit or miss, but so far I haven't been refused a on tap beer replacement because of the bad tasting beer. Though I have been told by the Barman "Everyone's taste is different." When I told him my Amber beer tasted like a mouthful of pennys. Consistency is something this eatery needs to work on. It used to be such a great place to go to.
