Food was fantastic. Service was very quick and efficient. The place is small, but we were able to sneak in around lunchtime. I don't know what illegal substance they put on those potatoes probably honey. But I will think about those for the rest of my life. They were delicious. If I'm ever back in the area, I will absolutely be stopping here again

Got this as takeout dinner and the service was fantastic (super kind employees!), taste was great, and they had halal chicken!! Really liked the seasoning and flavor of the chicken/rice.

Fast and tasty. I only needed a snack so I got the vegetable dumplings. They were tasty! I would definitely come back for a full meal at some point.

I had to walk back memory lane today and eat at Blossom Tree. This was (and still is) one of my favorites when I was a student at GSU and dining here was so nostalgic for me. Quite a lot has changed with this place but was told it's the same owner ever since I started going here. One of the big changes - they used to have a sauce bar where you can get your own sauce and free barley tea. I didn't see either of these but it wasn't a big deal. It's counter service and I decided to order a tofu bibimbap with lettuce base and sides of kimchi and brown rice. The staff was very friendly and their customer service is great. I was in the middle of ordering but someone called and the server excused himself to take the call. It only took a few minutes for our orders to come. Mine came with a decent amount of deep fried tofu on top of lettuce. This could have definitely used more sauce since the lettuce was dry with no dressing. I dumped the kimchi to make a salad bowl scenario, which helped with the dryness of the dish.

Blossom tree always hits the spot! Very consistent and delicious. I ordered delivery through a third party app and it was still hot. In a stapled bag with utensils and napkins which is a perk due to being at work!

I came here on a Monday for lunch and it was pretty empty around noon. People started to file in right after we got there though. They have communal style seating, so you might end up sitting by someone you don't know but maybe you'll make a new friend that day. I had the pork bulgogi kimchi rice with sweet potatoes and veggie dumplings. The veggie dumplings were definitely the star of the dish. I could eat those over and over because they were delicious. The sweet potatoes were fine and covered in some kind of sauce. I'm not a huge sweet potato fan but if you love them I'm sure you will love the ones here. They were soft yet crispy. The pork bulgogi kimchi rice was good as well, but I think I wish I would've had an additional sauce to enhance the taste of the kimchi rice. I don't feel as if it added to the dish.

Thank you Blossom Tree for staying open a few mins after closing time so that I can grab dinner! I flew into Atlanta and this was the only place that was nice enough to take my order. I panicked ordered and went with the Beef Bibimbap with dumplings & sweet potatoes. My favorite was definitely the dumplings and sweet potatoes. I might've made a mistake on getting no sauce on the beef bibimbap because it didn't seem to be seasoned and it was on the drier end so a little hard to eat. Portion sizes were fairly large for the value, so that's a plus. I would definitely like to come back to try their other dishes next time I'm in town for work.

One of the best places to eat in downtown Atlanta! The tacos and bibimbap are excellent, and so are the sides. Highly recommend the tofu, shrimp, or fish. The service is good as well and items are priced well. Casual seating. To go orders did well in transit too.

What a find for this area of downtown! There really isn't a lot of Korean food in the area, and I was craving korean food because I was super bummed about missing my flight to Korea. A very good to-go for lunch or just need something quick. Staff member was super nice, greeted me as soon as I walked in. Even offered to give me extra sauce which they normally don't do! Ordered a beef bibimbap with sweet soy and my husband got the sweet-spicy version and it was delicious! We both got the side of dumplings and it was perfectly fried cripsy and delicious, went really well with the sauces he gave us. The side soup was good too. My husbnad got the kimchi as a side which was your average kimchi. Overall, I was very impressed. All the ingredients were fresh and very clean. Everything together was very flavorful. Would highly recommend!

Ok! So you caught me here. If you have been following me, I have been getting ready for hot girl summer. Since I'm trying to cut down on carbs and sugars, I heard about how delicious this food was! We ordered through Grub hub and my goodness it was delicious! Looking at my fellow Elite Squad reviews, I was confident to choose the Pork Bulgogi Rice but I made it spicy. My sides were sweet potato and dumplings. The sweet potato are not the actual sweet potato but it is a potato in a sweet syrup. The order got here quick and hot! Shout out to our Grubhub driver for being quick and nice. Definitely recommend if you are looking for something different to eat and or have a taste for Korean Food.

My sister and I grabbed some take out, she picked it up and brought it for us. She did not have a great experience ordering food, but the food is so good she wasn't too bothered. We grabbed the bulgogi rice and the chicken rice plate. For our sides we had the corn salad and the dumplings. The food itself was delicious! We've had it a couple of times and it never disappoints, I wish there was a Gwinnett location.

This is the best meal I've had in Atlanta all week! I walked here alone in search of a 7pm dinner with relatively fast & fresh food. Upon walking in there were a few patrons sitting at communal tables. I walked right up to the kiosk and ordered from a friendly employee. I ordered the spicy chicken rice bowl. It co Ed with two free sizes and I chose the Korean salad and the dumplings. I grabbed a seat and my meal was cooked fresh. It came out in about 12ish minutes in a compostable container. The side salad was scrumptious--it really outperformed my expectations. The dumplings were "okay." They had a great crunch to them, but the flavor wasn't as epic as the other parts of my meal. My spicy chicken rice bowl was DELICIOUS. From the rice, the the veggies, the chicken, the sauce...all of it was so very very good. This was a safe, quiet, & clean place for a lady to enjoy an eat-in dinner for 1. I might come back again before I leave Atlanta.

Delish little place near GSU. Bibimbap did not disappoint. Few seats at high top bars, but friendly diners. Great service.

Where would you park?

I parked around the corner on the side street. It was easier to do that.

Do they use halal meat for their dishes?

When I called they said their crispy chicken is halal.

Is there parking?

No . You need to find street parking or garage parking around.

We got the glass noodles with bone marrow and the braised pork belly. The glass noodles were tender but still had a nice bounce to them, and the bone marrow added a deep warm umami flavor. The braised pork belly was perfectly cooked, slight crisp and very juicy. It came with some lettuce and pickled vegetables to make wraps with. Overall a great hang out or date spot, will definitely be coming back to try the other menu items

It had been several months since my last visit to…read moreBene's, and I was looking forward to having the Kimchi Stew ($14.99), also known as Kimchi Jjigae. It's one of my favorite Korean dishes, and I've ordered it several times at Bene's in the past. While the stew was decent during previous visits, I was disappointed with how it tasted this time. I think that the chef may be adjusting the flavors to cater to local preferences, which is fair, but the dish no longer resembles the traditional Kimchi Jjigae I've enjoyed both in Korea and the U.S. The broth wasn't spicy and had an overpowering tomato or ketchup-like flavor that didn't taste right for this dish. The pork was also overcooked, and the accompanying rice tasted stale. I did not finish my meal. I was also surprised to find that Bene's no longer serves individual portions of three assorted side dishes, along with soup and salad, as part of each person's meal. Instead, the side dishes are now served in shared portions for the entire table, which is similar to traditional Korean dining experiences, but Bene's portion size for them were noticeably smaller than in the past. There are so many other affordable Korean restaurants on Buford Highway that I've enjoyed, so unfortunately, I wouldn't return to Bene's. I wish them all the best, though!

This restaurant soft-opened in March 2024 and officially opened in April 2024 in the old Breakers Korean barbecue space near the defunct Gwinnett Place Mall, and I-85 at Pleasant Hill Rd (exit 104). It's spacious, but can fill up quick. We arrived at noon on a Saturday and there were still plenty of open tables. However, by the time we left, shortly after 1pm, it was packed with people looking for tables. Someone jumped on our table as we were getting up to leave. This is not a sit-down restaurant. Instead, you order at one of two touchscreen kiosks at the entrance and then wait for your number to be called to pick up your food. Everything is self-serve, from condiments to hot broth. You also bus your own table. Here's what three of us got: B3. Heo [sic] Naengmyeon ($16.99) - spicy sweet potato starch noodles with raw fish (should be spelled "hoe") C3-B1. Naengmyeon and Yuk Jeon ($20.99) - cold sweet potato starch noodles and thinly sliced beef pancake C1-B1. Naengmyeon and Dwaeji Yang Nyum Gui ($18.99) - cold sweet potato starch noodles and grilled pork neck D4. Kimchi Son Mandu ($11.99) - handmade kimchi dumplings My wife and I love naengmyeon. We thought Naju's version was good, especially in this fast-casual format. To nitpick, the noodles stuck together and the ice melted too fast. Regardless, I found the noodles to be delicious, refreshing, and satisfying. The spicy version came with a small bowl of icy broth on the side. The raw fish, beef pancake, and grilled pork neck were all tasty and of decent quality. As for the handmade kimchi dumplings, they were legit. Big and filling. In addition to naengmyeon, Naju also offers a variety of Korean soups (e.g., seolleongtang - ox bone soup and gomtang - beef bone soup) and LA galbi (grilled short ribs). During our visit, the pickup counter was staffed by a bunch of ajummas (Korean middle-aged women), basically Korean lunch ladies. I'd come back.
