Great little place off the beaten path. Food is regular bar food but the menu is fairly big. Everything I've had has been really good. They usually also have something going in. Trivia night etc. friendly crowd and fun servers. I don't think I've ever been able to finish what I've order. Portions are plentiful. read more

Stopped in for food. French onion soup was tasteles. Beef on weck(2 mini) was average...something like deli style. Steak fries would have been good if they were fully cooked. Side of gravy tasteless. Chicken Parm was average. Fried chicken average also. Service...had to keep flagging down for refills and the check but service was friendly. Feel there are better places to go. read more

I checked out the menu online and it looked great. So I met my parents, my kids, and my sister there for lunch one day. We showed up just as they were opening and sat out on the patio. The place looks great and our waitress was great. But I have to admit how disappointed I was in the food! We ordered a bunch of appetizers (probably 8-10) and all shared. Some were okay, others were not good at all, and none were great I'd say. I'd guess that at least half of them were simply frozen "appetizers" that they just heat up and serve. Others had some effort put into them for sure, but again were not great. read more

We were at Bloomfield's on Saturday, March 18th. It was our first time there. There were 9 of us. We were there for a few hours, bought appetizers which were delicious and many drinks, when at 11pm one of the female bartenders went from table to table to let everyone in the bar know they would be closing at 11:30. The bar was full of people at that time. Then started cleaning up the bar. How does a full bar close at 11:30 on a Saturday? We will not be returning to Bloomfield's! Very disappointed!!! read more

I thought the menu was varied and there is something for everyone. We shared the spinach artichoke dip, wings and a bbq chicken flatbread, and it was all delicious and cooked perfectly. The "medium" wings were true medium heat wings comparable to any medium wings you'd get at Duffs or Bar Bill. Draft beer was fresh, and cocktails were made well with adequate alcohol. Live music was the reason we went in the first place and did not disappoint. One more thing, the place is spotless! I love a clean restaurant!! We will definitely be back! read more

We found this establishment on the Find Me GF App. Don't let the exterior look of "just another bar" fool you. Sure, it's a bar with pub fare, but the menu is extensive and filled with GF options. So we decided to do a dinner night of just apps, and headed to Bloomfield's, I mean this is the Home of the Appetizer, as their sign says. We were expecting some unique and freshly made apps so we actually ordered more than we normally would have in anticipation - tacos, loaded poutine fries, meatball bites w dipping sauces, shish kabobs and potstickers. The steak shish kabobs we're inedible, unless you like to chew your meat for 5 minutes. The poutine fries are the only thing that were OK. Do yourself a favor and pull some frozen appetizers out of your freezer before spending your money here because you'll be better off. read more

130 yesterday for the first time simple different gluten-free selections I had a lot of choices which is unusual for restaurants a lot of restaurants don't have this many type of gluten-free choices especially spinach bread you know flatbread pizza mozzarella sticks the food was amazing and so is the service I would highly recommend and I definitely plan to go back!! read more

I think I've found my new favorite place! I visited shortly after The Bloomfield Pub opened, when all the "bugs" often haven't been worked out. Had the Polish platter, which was to die for! The smoked Polish sausage was the best I've ever had, pierogis just like homemade, & the guwmkies (stuffed cabbage) was OK, though a bit bland tasting. But the potato pancakes were perfect, they were almost as good as my mom's, which is the standard I judge all others by. Service was excellent, so friendly. Felt like I'd known my server forever. I would not recommend. My friend ordered a draft beer. The beer was flat. The bartender replaced his beer telling us that was the first beer off the tap. Second beer was a little better. We ordered bourbon wings garlic parm and hot. The wing came. The bourbon wings all you could taste was brown sugar. Garlic parm wings tasted good. The " hot" wings not hot at all. ( like mild wing sace). I asked if they could shake them in the " suicide " sauce. They did. The owner come back with the wings. I eat a wing still not hot it tasted like the same saucejust put more on them. The owner walked by asked me "how are the wings " I replied they are still not hot. The owner then said " well thats your opinion other love them " and walked away. The owner came by seating another table. I stopped him on his way back and I handed him the hot wings. I told him they are not how I ordered them and he could have them back. He never asked how he could make things right with me. He acted like he could careless. We finished are meal. The bill came and I was charged for the wings I sent back. I walked up to the bartender and asked why I was charged for food that we sent back. She told me I had to talk to the owner. He said he would take it off this time. I said if someone does not like the food you do not offer to fix the problem or talk to them about it and just walk away. I told him that I eat hot wing all the time and his sauce is not hot. He just kept telling me that it my opinion. I said you are correct it is. He told me he was done talking to me he could have careless what I had to say. I got mad at that point. I was walking up to are table I said he was acting like an a_____e. To get me to that point I was discussed. I walked up to the bar I was paying the bill for the rest of the food and drinks that we did have. The owner walked up to my friends saying I was being unreasonable. My friends told him he did not handle the issue the correct way. He did not ask how he could make it right and he had a rude attitude about it. All he had to do is just say " I'm sorry what can I do to make thing better" I would have said just take them off the bill because they are not how I wanted them. The new owners have done a beautiful job updating the interior. They have an extensive list of different appetizers. I went with 2 other people and we all were excited to try their wings. The garlic Parmesan was great. The medium and hot wings not so much. The hot were nearly mild. We asked to have them reshaped with the suicide wings and that barely made a difference. The owner came back out and asked how the newly shaken wings were. An honest opinion was given. Still not very hot at all. The owner just said "That is your opinion. Other people like them." And walked away quite rudely. After this we sent the wings back. We were never asked if there was a way to make up for it. If we wanted something else or even just a simply "sorry they are not what you were expecting". The owner then tried charging us for the wings that were returned. When we asked to have those wings removed the owner became upset and just kept saying "That is your opinion". Eventually, he did remove the charge. A conversation was had with the owner regarding taking a customers concerns and opinions a bit more seriously. He did end up apologizing but sadly the damage is done. Probably sadly will never go back again and love supporting local. read more
