I was visiting Bend a few weeks ago, and we had to stop by this Blockbuster location as it's the LAST BLOCKBUSTER IN THE WORLD. Let that sink in! There used to be thousands! I used to walk to one growing up! But, yes, this is the last one (there's a documentary about, which I think you can watch on Netflix or buy on DVD at this Blockbuster location)! We stopped by, took our pictures, of the sign, and waxed nostalgic. And bought a lot of candy and souvenirs (the hoodie I bought here has garnered a lot of compliments already and I've only worn it out once!). We didn't rent any movies as we don't live locally, but you can still be a cardholder and rent movies at this location. The staff was really nice (we abided by the actual sign reminding people not to take pictures of staff without their permission - can you believe they need a sign informing people of that?!). It was fun, nostalgic, and definitely worth a visit if you're in Bend. read more

Wow a blast from the past! A great place to visit but if you live in the area, yes you can totally rent and buy! Heck I would've been joining up if I lived in the area. But unfortunately I don't- anyway it's a great hot spot, they do not allow public to use the bathrooms they are only for the workers! And they have a great selection of clothes, puzzles, and many other cute stuff. Might even come across someone famous. I know we did. We enjoyed the stuff that we got and can't wait to try some of it on. If you didn't, make sure to pick up the popcorn basket. You get your own popcorn bowl, what??? Super cute. read more

Truly the best selection of any Blockbuster out there! We enjoyed stopping in while on a weekend getaway. We pulled up and people were taking pictures outside with the sign so we did too. They also have commemorative merchandise for sale so that you can show people you have been to the last Blockbuster. We spent our time looking at the used dvd bin and we ended up buying 6 dvds of new releases for only about $20. Unfortunately we forgot our membership cards in 1999. This little attraction is definitely worth a stop for some nostalgia. read more

I mean who doesn't want to see the last Blockbuster? It's nostalgic for us who grew up going to this place. You walk in and it's just like it's always been with movies lining the walls, a spot to drop returns, and racks of candy when you checkout. I didn't notice any video games available for rent and for the tourists they've added some things. They have autographed & costume memorabilia in the back, along with an autograph book you can sign. Apparently people travel from all over to see Blockbuster that they even sell merchandise. I did buy a t-shirt, magnet, & sticker. The employees were very friendly and watching people who live in the area come to rent movies was a nice touch. If you haven't seen it & you're in Bend, OR you should stop in. read more

This is the LAST blockbuster in the US!! They have large selection of movies and game. A lot of movie you can't get from streaming. The employees are awesome and helpful. They are selling Teeshirts and sticker, stating they are the last one. You can still get a Blockbuster card. Stop in and enjoy!! read more

am watching the netflix documentary and near tears??? i spent so much time at blockbuster as my ex-stepdad was a manager and after school, i'd get dropped off at blockbuster while he was working when my mom has a college class to go to and just sit in the back and watch as many movies as i wanted. he'd bring home cardboard cutouts and movie posters and we had them all in our computer room at our house. i hope to visit this store soon and feel the way i haven't in almost 14 years. sandi and everyone that works here seem so sincere and i just want to go appreciate them in person and thank them for all they do. please keep them open! read more

Even in the time of Blockbuster, this store would have been one of the better ones. Now in an age where they're a thing of the past, this store is a clean, bright, refreshing trip down memory lane. The staff was friendly and knowledgable, and the selection is quality. As we walked out (I with a new Blockbuster hat), a couple of families were walking in with their excited kids. That was a great sight :) If you live in the Bend area, keep this (now-) unique experience alive by exploring the shelves and renting a movie the OG way. read more

Great prices and won't gouge you if you decide to keep your rental, rather you get charged the fair market value of it once you have had the rental long enough. Plenty of choices! This is the last Blockbuster on earth, and after seeing the documentary on Netflix, I had venture there while I was in the area last month. The place was packed with tourists and regular customers and it was so cool to see a Blockbuster Video, especially since I was an employee with the company in the mid 1990s. I ended up taking pictures inside and outside, and then walked around the store like old times and ended up getting a t-shirt, a water bottle, a cup, a shot glass and postcards. The customer service was very good. Definitely go here if you are in the area. read more

HOLY CRAP! A LIVING, BREATHING, GOD HONEST BLOCKBUSTER! My kids were clueless, my wife and I ecstatic...we took pictures, we wandered around in amazement at the sight...we took in the smell...YES...IT EVEN HAS THAT BLOCKBUSTER SMELL of popcorn and boxed candies and plastic cases. We then told our kids what it was like in our day crowding around the 'New Releases' pondering, arguing, being indecisive trying to appease everyone in our group of friends to pick out one movie that would appeal to all...no instant downloads or exhaustive video libraries...just one movie...what one movie would we rent? Kids these days just don't know...only, this place was bustling...active, busy...this one Blockbuster has survived and somehow is doing well. Congratulations...and good luck in a world far away where digital media is looming like an announcer's voice trying to sell you on the next big movie! read more

I was in town to visit relatives and had to drop by the store. The employees are extremely friendly and the store itself was a trip back in time for me! Aside from the novelty of being the last Blockbuster on Earth, they have a huge selection of videos to choose from if you prefer to rent your videos.
