On a previous trip to Bend, I had noticed this spot (closed at the time) next door and in the same basement as The Cellar by Porter Brewing. On this trip one afternoon, I decided to stop in when it was open and loved my experience here. It's an eclectic used book and art store. The cashier was immediately welcoming and shared that local high school students are mainly the artists on display, with all manner of things for sale. The main draw here is used books, arranged by topic, but there's artwork and antiques mixed in everywhere. I bought a few charms and some junk journaling style post cards. It's one of those places you don't really know what you want to buy until something speaks to you. Prices are reasonable, you can tell this is more of a passion shop. If you're in Bend and looking for local fun shops, this one should be on your list. read more

it"s been 3 years since you asked me to leave my father"s accordion on consignment with you. i went to the store, tried to retrive the accordion (leo) from you in january 2023. i was told that you your wife and 2 daughters went to alaska on a trip. since you had all the contact information, i asked the clerk to have you contact me. you never did.i left the accordion with you and your family.the pianoplayer was also there. i am an 85 tear old disabled vet. again, i would like my accordion back. read more

I got kicked out because my younger cousin moved a book off of the shelf it was on, instead of telling my cousin to keep the books where they were, the man working there kicked us all out and didn't let us look anymore. this was very frustrating and I wish he would have just told my cousin to not touch the books or to leave them where they were. I was only in the store for about 5 minutes before he told us to leave with no warning. I understand the frustration of things being moved around but telling him the expectations would have been better then straight up kicking us out. the store itself was very nice but service was terrible read more

Nice treasure to find on Independent Bookstore day! I would recommend to anyone in the area.

Awesome place! There are so many books and the workers are so nice. They gave us recommendations and pulled out plenty of books for us to look through. They have art work throughout their store that you can buy. If you love books you gotta stop by this place. They do prefer cash but also take Venmo. They also have a few jewelry items as soon as you walk in and candles. We thought we were going to walk in and out but we busted multiple times during our stay. read more
