Apparently, this man had an actual salon pre-Covid. And after losing that, he has been schlepping his mobile trailer across town to various parking lots for the past 5 years. I can't speak for his pre-Covid salon, but my experience in his trailer was very disturbing! Not only was the haircut bad, but Stephen Todd also seemed to be highly agitated in very close trailer quarters. A substance problem? A hangover from the night before? Mental issues in general? I have no idea---but this guy was not a professional, not a good stylist. Just some creepy, agitated, addled guy in a hair-cut trailer----to AVOID, gals! p.s. Stephen Todd just responded that my above was a "fake review" and that I was an "evil person." Nah. It's just that I think Todd has, for years, gotten away with behaving in a creepy, unprofessional manner, especially once he was reduced to his trailer. Most of us women go to a hair-stylist for a relaxing hour in the afternoon! When I visited his mobile trailer, this guy was clearly either ON something (or recovering from something the night before) and wasn't there to provide any sort of "good experience" to me or ANY client. It's not "evil" to speak the truth.

If you are looking for someone to cut your hair from long to shoulder as I did or any other style, Go for it. He is rolling a few days a week so check it out. New concept with this world we live in now.

The owner also condones such behavior by allowing her hairdresser to be her strong man and intimidate women. In speaking to other ladies at SMDS we found that it is a repeated pattern--two thumbs down.

Just had my third cut because Lance is great! He takes his time, is considerate of your opinions, and provides a high quality cut at a reasonable price. Oh and he's great to talk to, a truly caring man. I've had many compliments on my cuts and am thrilled he took a chance when I decided to go short. I think he was as excited about it as I was. Update! 8/18/2020 Over the last few months, Chelsie has been…read morecutting my hair and I'm a HUGE FAN! I have a pretty edgy, A-symmetrical pixie cut with half of my head shaved. The back is full of layers and texture that creates a swoop that flows into a chin length cut. Chelsie is very detail oriented and great at making this complicated cut seem like an easy job. My hair is always perfectly textured with lots of body. I have to mention, her shampoos are the most relaxing and pampering part of my experience. I have to remind myself not to fall asleep! LOL! She is never in a rush and always takes her time to make sure I leave with a smile on my face. I've even brought my sister for a visit & she was so impressed with Chelsie that she will drive 4.5 hours just to get a color and cut from her. If that doesn't convince you that she's amazing, idk what will. :) I have never been to a salon like this before. The service is outstanding!! You get a custom hair cut by professionals who take your styling preferences into consideration. And the best part, their products are chemical free!! I have searched near and far for a place that doesn't look at me crazy when I say im particular about the ingredients in my hair product. It doesn't even smell like a salon, it's wonderful! She goes above and beyond any hair stylist I've ever met. She will make you look like a million bucks from hair, to hair styling, brow shaping, & professional makeup. Her perfectionism makes her the best at giving cuts. If you say you don't want her to cut a lot of, she won't. If you continue to go to her, you'll see a significant difference in the health of your hair. Her motto is to always have her clients looking their absolute best so she does not offer any products that harm your hair. She uses amazing organic and healthy products (and won't even let us get perms because it's so damaging.) Her prices are lower than industry standard and does this so that everyone can afford to look their best. I WON'T LET ANYONE TOUCH MY EYEBROWS UNLESS IT'S WITH KIM! She is absolutely the best with curly hair. She has had her own salon for quite sometime, but even before this one I followed her from salon to salon. She is very friendly, as well as her staff. I enjoy visiting with her - she even cuts my Aunts hair which is even curlier than mine. If you want someone to take care of your unruly mane - she is the one to do it. She is a little more pricey than most places, but if our hair doesn't look great then we don't feel great, right?!
