She is truly one of the best in the business, and literally exudes professionalism and class. I am still in awe of what she was able to create for my wedding. I hired Aimee as a full-service planner for our Carmel, CA wedding, and she somehow managed to go above and beyond the meaning of full service. She's remarkably organized (as someone who plans events myself, this is so appreciated), attentive, budget conscious, transparent, responsive/communicative and genuinely cares about her brides. Aside from her personality (she's so dang funny and sweet), I also loved how collaborative she was and how she wants to ensure YOUR vision is brought to life. However, she isn't afraid to take over when you need her to. Example: there were a few times when I needed to pass the reins to Aimee last minute to make something happen when I didn't have the time or brain space - and without hesitation, she nailed it every time. Seriously, every time. She asks the questions you'd never think of and she notices the details most people wouldn't. I always felt like she was my teammate and she's 100% worthy of your trust to get the job done. I had a very specific vision in mind for my wedding, and it's beyond me how well Aimee executed. She managed every big and small detail for me, communicated clearly to everyone involved so I didn't have to - and she even wiped my tears over something that stressed me out on rehearsal day that had nothing to do with her! I vividly remember being a month out from my wedding and saying to her "I feel like I'm supposed to be stressed, but I'm feeling good" and in hindsight, it's because Aimee was doing an incredible job. My entire wedding went off without a hitch, and if there was a hitch, I never knew about it because that's how Aimee rolls: a stress-free bride = happy bride. I'm now on a mission to find an excuse to plan a large-scale event just so I can work with her again. Miss you Aimee!

We don't often leave reviews for other vendors (though we should) but we wanted to specifically point out a few things about Makenna that were noteworthy: *Her communication and organization before the wedding was superb. She was very clear and concise and her timeline was super detailed and well organized (we cannot say the same about all timelines we get from planners) *On the day of the event, she was very composed and relaxed! This may seem like a strange thing to point out, but this is the mark of someone who is good at what they do. It's not that she is "chill" or "doesn't care" it's because she's done her legwork and due diligence before the event to make sure that the day of goes smoothly *She goes above and beyond! There were a few venue issues that were solely the fault of the venue and no one else, Makenna immediately stepped in to help rectify these. She even got in her car and did a run to grab ice mid event (who does that???). Overall she is a true pro and made our day (and our client's wedding) amazing! If you're considering her as a wedding planner you can feel confident knowing she will take the time and care to make sure you have the celebration you deserve!

They are organized, kind, and incredibly experienced! They are literally some of the best in the game and have a list of certified vendors in every area they work in, so each vendor they connect you with is also excellent. They helped us bring our vision to life while bringing up details neither of us had considered. My husband and I saw everything we'd planned with Makenna be executed beautifully on the day of, and were kept blissfully in the dark about any stressful situations that may have happened on wedding day! They are truly professional--my only regret is not booking them for a full planning package. :)

She was really easy…read moreto work with and met with us several times to go over the small details for our ceremony and reception. Dia also helped created our itinerary several times and ensured that all our other vendors got a copy of the finalized itinerary. Dia and her husband are well organized and very communicative. As a bride, I had a lot of requests and very specific about the logistics of how I wanted things moved to during the transition of the ceremony, cocktail hour, cake cutting, reception, etc. Dia and Her really made sure that our vision came to life and was there throughout the day of our wedding from venue setup at 10am all the way until our wedding ended and we had to break everything down, 12am. She's also flexible and can work within your budget for the services that you need. Having an experienced day of coordinator is really important since it alleviates the stress for the bride and groom and we are so glad that we booked Dia and Her! Additionally, prior to our wedding, Dia and her husband met up with us to tour our wedding venue together so that they can get a better idea of how the big day would look like. Dia really helped us with the rehearsal practice the day prior to our wedding and lined everyone up accordingly. On the day of our wedding, everything went smoothly thanks to Dia's coordination. There was a small hiccup with our catering team during dinner and Dia was able to help address it so that we weren't stressed about our guests not having water. Additionally, throughout our wedding day, Dia made sure to remind us to eat snacks, drink water, and even grabbed us a plate of food/appetizers when we were getting ready and taking photos. Not only that but made sure to grab us a drink from the bar and asked if we needed anything. My family was very impressed with the services that Dia and Her gave us and said that they are very professional. Overall, Dia and Her are a great team to work with and we highly recommend future brides and grooms to book them for their weddings! In my opinion, having a wedding planner was a necessity and one I would advise other brides to have, even if it means scaling back on other costs for your wedding reception. For me personally, having a wedding planner was the difference between me just being able to "pull off" my reception and me being able to enjoy it. To save some money, I hired KWE for month of/day of coordination rather than full event planning (though they were available from the get-go for contract help, referrals and all-around advice). The month before my event, Kate swooped in and took care of all the details: designing the layout of the venue, coordinating with the vendors, etc. The week before, day before and the day of she took care of everything! She picked up supplies, was on hand to greet and coordinate with other vendors, did setup and cleanup, delivered items to my house after the reception, helped keep the party on track and so much more! I am not sure if there were any snafus (though I am sure there were, how couldn't there have been?) because if there were, she took care of them on the spot. She even jumped into action when I spilled red wine on my gown early in the evening. I really, really, really cannot emphasize enough how wonderful it was to have Kate and her team on board. I strongly advise you to consider hiring her for your event.
