Aimee & her team at 2chic are beyond amazing. I could go on and on about just how wonderful they are. My fiance and I hired Aimee after a thread of emails with Aimee that made us feel like we were already friends. I can promise you this future brides - you will find a friend in Aimee. Wedding Planning is more than you have ever imagined and it is everything like Bridezillas and nothing like David Tuitera (spelling). It is more than overwellming in more ways than one. Aimee and her team create jaw-dropping gorgeous events! You will love your experience with her when you plan your wedding!

i LOVE LOVE LOVE 2Chic ! Aimee and her team are top notch. She has such a great way with everyone she deals with and putting out fires in touchy situations. We have done 2 weddings together and both of the clients were THRILLED with her work and went on and on about how lucky they were to have her on their special day. I have also worked with Aimee on other events and she always brings her a game to the table. Also she has such a sense of style that gives the event that special something. In addition to being very good at her job, she is one of the most delightful people you will ever meet, kind, warm, giving with a great sense of humor. Mama likes ! read more

Definition of Dream Wedding Planner: Aimee Wendell. I'm not sure what I miss more, her or my wedding day! If you're looking to plan the wedding of your dreams, Aimee is your gal. She is truly one of the best in the business, and literally exudes professionalism and class. I am still in awe of what she was able to create for my wedding. I hired Aimee as a full-service planner for our Carmel, CA wedding, and she somehow managed to go above and beyond the meaning of full service. She's remarkably organized (as someone who plans events myself, this is so appreciated), attentive, budget conscious, transparent, responsive/communicative and genuinely cares about her brides. Aside from her personality (she's so dang funny and sweet), I also loved how collaborative she was and how she wants to ensure YOUR vision is brought to life. However, she isn't afraid to take over when you need her to. Example: there were a few times when I needed to pass the reins to Aimee last minute to make something happen when I didn't have the time or brain space - and without hesitation, she nailed it every time. Seriously, every time. She asks the questions you'd never think of and she notices the details most people wouldn't. I always felt like she was my teammate and she's 100% worthy of your trust to get the job done. I had a very specific vision in mind for my wedding, and it's beyond me how well Aimee executed. She managed every big and small detail for me, communicated clearly to everyone involved so I didn't have to - and she even wiped my tears over something that stressed me out on rehearsal day that had nothing to do with her! I vividly remember being a month out from my wedding and saying to her "I feel like I'm supposed to be stressed, but I'm feeling good" and in hindsight, it's because Aimee was doing an incredible job. My entire wedding went off without a hitch, and if there was a hitch, I never knew about it because that's how Aimee rolls: a stress-free bride = happy bride. I'm now on a mission to find an excuse to plan a large-scale event just so I can work with her again. Miss you Aimee! read more

Aimee and her team are top notch! She is passionate about each of her clients, detail oriented, and extremely good at what she does! She always goes above and beyond. Highly recommend hiring this amazing woman and her team for your big day! You won't be disappointed! read more

Honestly never written a review before but Aimee is a miracle worker!!!! There are no words I can say to justify how absolutely incredible she made my wedding day! Aimee planned my sisters wedding 5 years ago and I already saw how amazing and on top of it she was, but WOW did she far exceed and surpass any and all expectations I had for my wedding. I don't even know where to begin because I could go on and on about Aimee!!! Not only did she make every little detail come together perfectly, but she ensured the wedding day went absolutely flawlessly. Not a single thing I would change, I just wish I could live it over and over. I felt so calm and confident, able to relax the whole day as she 100% took care of EVERYTHING. She made my fairytale Pinterest vision come to life, even better than I had imagined. AND to top it all off, she was so much fun to work and plan with. She GREATLY contributed to how much I enjoyed the entire wedding planning process. She was there for me every step of the way through the smallest and biggest parts of the planning. Always one step ahead, thinking of every possible detail. She has an AMAZING eye for making things come together but never pressured me one way or another, always just helped me come to the best decisions. I actually wish we could do it all again I miss Aimee and would recommend her to anyone and everyone planning ANYTHING! She's AMAZING!!! read more

Aimee is nothing sort of a miracle worker! When COVID hit, most of my friends suggested I reschedule my wedding, but my fiance and I were set on pushing forward. I expected our planner to suggest we postpone as well, but she blazed the way for us and made it all happen, without compromise, even after having to change our venue 3.5 weeks before the date! Without Aimee I know we wouldn't have been able to pull it off. I'm still in complete awe of the mountains she moved for us and I am so grateful to have had her on my side! read more

Working with 2Chic Events was one of the worst experiences of our lives and nearly ruined our entire wedding. We recently moved to California after growing up in Boston, MA, where our families are still located. Since we are not familiar with the area, we chose to utilize the services of a wedding planner to assist in navigating the planning process and choosing reputable vendors. Our initial meeting with Aimee Wendell from 2Chic Events was on 1/28/12 and during this meeting she suggested Cabo for a wedding location. We loved the idea and Aimee assured us she had extensive experience in Cabo and would be qualified to plan a wedding there. Aimee was responsible for assisting us in booking a venue but the venues she provided either did not match our budget, or did not match the few requirements we had (budget friendly for guests, small venue, character). Aimee had emphasized her familiarity with Cabo, yet the venues seemed very limited. We began to doubt how well she knew Cabo and ended up doing the venue search on our own. Once we chose the venues, we asked her to follow-up for additional information. Aimee was travelling to Cabo on vacation and told us we should travel there during her stay so we could look at venues in person. During the trip, Aimee did not know about the existence of major landmarks in Cabo. She had offered to drive us to the site visits then decided the day before, she did not feel comfortable driving in Cabo. During the site visits Aimee did not ask many questions and seemed disengaged. We were greatly disappointed by her behavior as we thought she would be leading the negotiations and obtaining the required information. Aimee was also supposed to provide a wedding budget and track expenses to that budget. Although she did provide an initial budget 2 months after signing the contract, it did not include items we told her we would be financially responsible for. We repeatedly asked for a more detailed budget that included the venue costs and additional items we requested. Unfortunately we never received this. When we finally found our venue, Aimee informed us she was not able to connect with the venue manager to follow up on our questions and obtain the contract. After over 3 weeks we were in danger of losing our date, we still did not have the contract or the detailed budget we had been asking for, and we concluded we needed to end our relationship with 2Chic Events in the best interest of our wedding. After 6 months of working with 2Chic Events, the only completed item was the booking of our photographer. The breakdown in trust made it impossible for us to continue working with her, especially on one of the most important days of our lives. A month after ending our relationship with Aimee, we received an email from her demanding an additional $750 to cover her hard costs. We informed her that we would be open to a discussion, but felt she had been paid fairly through our prior payment and asked for an explanation regarding the specific amount and requested receipts for the hard costs she referred to. Aimee then proceeded to threaten us and refused to provide any additional information and told us her demands were not negotiable. In response, we stressed that without any sort of explanation; we did not feel comfortable paying an additional fee. In this email we requested to resolve the matter through mediation, but were served with papers on 10/4/12 to attend Small Claims Court! We were completely shocked, as the last thing we needed after everything was to go to court and pay additional money after having to find and hire a new wedding planner (who planned and booked 80% of our wedding in 2 weeks!!!) I can't comment on her wedding planning in Northern CA, but having her plan a destination wedding was a complete disaster, in addition to taking a huge emotional toll. For someone who plans weddings for a living, I was shocked to see the extent she went to in order to ruin our wedding after we let her go. read more

My husband and I decided to start our wedding planning process pretty early. About 18 months prior to our wedding, in fact. We were going back and forth as to whether we needed a wedding planner, but we decided to contact a few local planners just to see what services they could provide to us. We contacted around 3-4, but one planner immediately connected with us. We did not know how lucky we were at the time, but Aimee Wendell from 2Chic promptly emailed us back, and magic happened! She was very warm, friendly, and easy to talk to so we decided to meet her in person for a consultation. We really didn't know what to expect when we first met Aimee in person, but when we walked into her office, I knew I loved her sense of style! She talked with us and made us feel at ease, right from the get go. My husband and I really had no clue as to what we wanted for the wedding. We needed help - STAT! Aimee was able to understand what we wanted, and we couldn't have been happier to have her be a part of the planning process. Aimee's network within the wedding industry is unparalleled, which is invaluable. All of the vendors we contacted were thrilled that Aimee was our planner, and that meant a lot to us. Even though we started the planning process super early, Aimee kept in constant contact with us, even if it was just to say hi. Aimee has such a personal touch which makes working with her such a joy. But it is really Aimee's talent and dedication to her clients that need to be highlighted. Aimee was there at our engagement shoot and she designed the entire look and feel of the photo shoot. She was there for pretty much all of the meetings with the vendors and helped us through the entire decision making process. Without her, we would have been so lost. When I talk about dedication, I am remembering instances like when Aimee and the entire 2Chic team stepped in at the 9th hour to help assemble our favors when my husband and I were freaking out because we realized we did not have enough time to do it ourselves. When I talk about talent, I recall the jaw dropping design she came up for our venue which included patterned ceiling lights and unique escort cards. Truthfully, there is no review that can encompass how great Aimee is. I am truly, truly grateful that we hired Aimee to be our wedding planning because not only did she plan the most AWESOME wedding ever, but she is honestly someone that I can now call my friend! She is genuinely the best and there is no one better to plan your wedding. Future brides - trust me. Hire Aimee as she is truly the best. read more

Aimee and her team are fantastic. My husband and I are both in the Army and during the entire time we were planning our wedding we were doing it from Iraq! Aimee went above and beyond our expectations and way beyond what our contract stated. Aimee went to ALL our appointments and kept us very informed on the status of our vendors. She is so organized and absolutely wonderful. I didn't even pick the look for our wedding. I trusted in her completely and she gave us such a wonderful surprise. Her creativity and spectacular design skills are above reproach. Not only did Aimee give us a military discount, but she also worked with vendors to give us a discount as well. I recommend Aimee to anyone who is planning an event. Thanks so much Aimee! read more

Aimee and the 2Chic Staff are probably one of the most professional wedding and event planners in the business... I love working with them! I know that my job as a photographer will be a breeze because my bride and groom and family will not have to worry about ANYTHING on their big day, which leads to people being more relaxed (and available) for picture taking amonst a sense of calm throughout the day knowing that "it's taken care of." Not to mention the amount of talent and attention to detail they bring to every event makes all my shots great ones!! Every client I've had, that has worked with Aimee, has nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about her; they're so happy they decided to work with a wedding planner, and even more thrilled that they chose a great one. As a wedding DJ that has worked over 2,100 weddings in my life, I've seen wedding planners come and go in the area, I've seen good and bad and everything in-between, and worked events that were smooth as can be and definitely a few that were a little chaotic. Aimee and the 2Chic team have got it figured out. Working with wedding planners is not always the easiest task for other vendors, unless you have the special touch to lead without stepping on toes. I save my comments about wedding and event professionals for the ones that are truly top notch. Without a doubt, Aimee and the 2Chic staff are up there with the best of them on the West Coast. She listens to her couples (and fellow vendors) creates beautiful, personalized events, and executes them flawlessly. I can't imagine the amount of time she spends with her couples outside of the wedding/event day because she spends a lot of time with working vendors to make sure we are all on the same page and have the plan ready to execute. I would highly recommend you consider her, and meet with her to see if she's "The (other) one". read more

Aimee has made my life easy. My fiance insisted on a planner before we were even engaged. I am glad we hired Aimee, she saved me. This is a girls world and us guys are just suppose to go along with the flow. Aimee was really good about including me in wedding decisions and helping me with the small tasks I was assigned. She knew what would make my fiance happy and not stress her out with my lack of knowledge on shades of pinks. I am Aimee's biggest fan and would recommend her to anyone and everyone. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Aimee - we booked her for our wedding rather far in advance, and I never felt neglected or like she wasn't completely invested in every detail, even when we were over a year out! I have literally no design sensibility, and I have to keep telling every one of our guests that the beautiful event they enjoyed had everything to do with our amazing planner! Add her attention to detail, sense of humor, and overall awesome communication skills to the fact that she supplied us with wine and good company throughout all our meetings, and you have one happy bride and groom. We love you Aimee! :) read more

The BEST decision I made in all of my wedding planning was hiring Aimee as our wedding planner. I think I am one of the few brides who actually can look back and confidently say that I enjoyed every bit of wedding planning and my wedding day...this is because of Aimee. She is a poised professional, with the most refreshing warm, yet calm energy about her. My fiancé and I had a clear vision for our music festival themed wedding. It was going to be a classy, yet very fun affair. This was a hard vision to share with most people, but Aimee understood from day one and whole heartedly embraced the theme. The day of the wedding, she brought all of our unique ideas together better than I could have ever imagined. Throughout the wedding planning process Aimee was always at least 5 steps ahead of me, but I never really knew because she would strategically bring up information so I wouldn't get overwhelmed or distracted. I thought this was genius!! It is is so easy to get overwhelmed while planning a wedding, but Aimee always kept me at ease. Not only was Aimee wonderful to work with, but every vendor she recommended to us was phenomenal. Aimee and the 2Chic Staff are absolutely amazing. My advice to all future brides is to look no further and hire Aimee as your wedding planner, she is the best of the best!! read more

From the time my daughter and her fiancé announced their wedding I knew that in order for me to enjoy this magical day without being a nervous wreck, I needed to find the perfect event planner. I could not be happier with our decision to hire 2 Chic Events for this special day. Thanks to "Amazing Aimee" Wendell and her very competent staff, my daughter's wedding day was everything we could have ever imagined. WEDFEST! That is the THEME our youngest daughter wanted for her wedding. She needed a planner who could understand and envision exactly what a WEDFEST backyard wedding would be like yet make it unique and fun...but still a wedding. When we first met Aimee we loved how poised and calm she was...but on the inside her brain was churning with ideas as she shared her "festival" experiences with us. Aimee was our gal. After our first meeting with Aimee we immediately received a check list of what we needed to do and with deadlines in which these items should be completed. Being a pretty "organized" mother and daughter team...we LOVED this! Aimee had her own much larger binder where she kept all the nitty gritty details. She was always thinking many steps ahead of us...and her organized check list kept us on task. She did her best to help us keep in our budget and would recommend several vendors for each wedding area and let us make the final decision. We enjoyed meeting different vendors...and sometimes with Aimee. Her vendor recommendations were incredible!!!! The week before the wedding we received a FULL time-line that detailed each moment of the day including the rehearsal the night before. The morning of the wedding Aimee showed up with her staff and I must say that everything ran like clockwork. Having a backyard wedding could have been a stressful affair; however, my daughter, bridesmaids, hubby, son-in-law and myself...were able to enjoy the wedding day....STRESS FREE!!!!! We could look outside and see everything coming together...I had NO idea it was going to come together as it did...it was just specatcular...and not once was there any panic or issue. I would do WEDFEST all over again if I could...it was a wonderful year of planning that I truly enjoyed with my daughter...and Aimee made it happen! We loved her calmness, organizational skills, vendor contacts, creativity and especially her warm heart. Thank you Aimee...for making our daughter's wedding dreams come true! read more

I can not recommend Aimee and her team enough! She is amazing! She gave us the greatest gift of confidence that our wedding day would be perfect. This allowed us to fully focus on marrying each other and celebrating with our family and friends. Home weddings can be a daunting undertaking but are so wonderful and special. Aimee coordinated everything perfectly. I was never stressed or overwhelmed. Aimee was respectful of our wishes and budget and was totally transparent throughout the planning. I felt in control at all times but with no stress and pressure! When it is a home wedding you need someone who loves and respects your home! Aimee looked at our dirt lot and totally envisioned the amazing setting it would be. She was with us through landscaping and built the wedding around our developing yard. The result was sheer magic! She has established relationships with the best vendors around and her creative eye is spectacular. Aimee's energy is incredible and I guarantee you will vibe with her! We can not wait to hire her again for more events! read more

Aimee saved us! We had signed up with Aimee a few months before our wedding and she literally saved us...in many, many ways! Everything that you could imagine seemed to be going wrong with our wedding -- we had to cancel our venue, we weren't communicating well with our caterer, our photographer was becoming a HUGE disappointment, and we ended up needing a new DJ literally two days before our big day! Yet, Aimee turned our crisis into opportunity. For every problem, she had a solution, and in the end, our wedding was significantly better for the changes. She got us the best, and did it all with a smile, putting us entirely at ease. She also managed to help us combine our two VERY different cultures -- my wife is Sikh Indian and I'm Jewish -- and helped us put together not only a gorgeous day filled with two different ceremonies and a reception over 18 hours, but also a Sangeet and a rehearsal dinner/Ketuba signing. We give Aimee four HUGE thumbs up!! read more

As a Pro Wedding DJ, I LOVE working with Aimee and 2Chic. My husband and I definitely lucked out being able to work with Aimee for our wedding in October 2016. We had booked the partial planning service but I feel like she helped with a large amount of the planning, which was such a plus on my part. She loves what she does and it helps to work with someone that doesn't make it seem like you're forcing them to do something. I could go on and on about how great she is, but I will just highlight one moment that she saved me during the planning process. I was extra stressed with some of the vendors and our venue had changed to a new venue coordinator, who was difficult to work with. Aimee offered to communicate to the venue coordinator on my part so that our requests were acknowledge in a timely-manner. Aimee was on our side every time we met with the venue coordinator because I felt so uncomfortable working with the new one. On the day of our wedding, Aimee and her team were awesome in putting the little details together and keeping it stress-free so we can focus on the celebration! We are still in contact with her even after almost 3 months after our wedding, which is another reason why I think she goes above and beyond being a Wedding Planner. I would definitely recommend Aimee and 2Chic Events for your wedding planning and design services! read more

We hired Aimee at 2Chic Events & Design and asked her to help us plan our perfect wedding day in two months. She got us and our wedding desires from moment one. When we explained how little tradition we wanted and how we wanted our day to feel, she quickly coined our wedding as "a dinner party where you get married" and she couldn't have been more correct. And she executed. It was a perfect dinner party where we happened to have also gotten married. We didn't have to sacrifice on a single thing and that's because of Aimee's attention to detail and her connections. She led us to other vendors that were as amazing as she is and everything came together so perfectly. Aimee has a very calm manner, really helps lead you in the right direction on choices without being too opinionated. I know for certain out wedding would not have been nearly as beautiful, fun or as well organized without and her team. So grateful for everything she did and on such a short timeline. It was so great working with her and although I hope I never have to plan another wedding (for myself)...I would hire her if I did or for any other big event we were hosting. Thank you Aimee and 2Chic Events & Design for everything!!! read more

Our wedding was more than we ever could have imagined or dreamed of thanks in very large part to Amazing Aimee of 2Chic Events! My mom and I locked her down a little over a year before my husband and my's June 2015 wedding. As soon as we met Aimee, we were in love! She is such a beautiful person, inside and out, not to mention extremely organized, talented, and creative! We were so happy and thankful to know that we were in very good hands. Aimee introduced us to some amazing vendors along the way who further helped shape our special day to be an absolute fairy tale! Not only did Aimee go above and beyond to make sure our day was nothing less than amazing, but she was also there for my mom and I as a friend along the way! She was always there to take my calls whenever I had a freak out moment and then would reassure me that everything was going to be perfect. I ABSOLUTELY recommend 2Chic events to every bride and groom who want their day to be relaxed and flawless! Trust me when I say you need this woman in your life and on your wedding day! TOP NOTCH WEDDING PLANNER!!! My husband and I live in NJ but he grew up in CA. So we decided on a wedding at the Citizen Hotel in Sacramento on 9/1/12. After choosing a venue I knew we would need a wedding planner. I spoke to a few planners but at the end of the day had a great connection with Aimee and loved the packages that were available, and her reviews speak for themselves! I of course was a little nervous planning my wedding from 3,000 miles away and only visiting once (6 months out from our wedding date) to finalize plans. But Aimee was incredible the entire time!! Our wedding turned out amazingly perfect and it was all because I could trust Aimee and leave all the hard work to her. Every detail I requested she made happen. If you are lucky enough to find Aimee with an open weekend I would book her immediately!!! You won't be disappointed with her hard work, organization, style, and warm heart. read more

I was extremely fortunate that Aimee was available to help plan a somewhat last-minute destination wedding in Lake Tahoe! I had 2 months to organize what was was supposed to be a wedding with a few dozen people, but which quickly turned into well over 100 people. Aimee to the rescue! She was amazing at referring me to local vendors and helping me prioritize tasks. I was very impressed by her responsiveness, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to take care of unexpected issues (even those that I didn't know at the time were occurring). Although I had chosen the wedding venue site and Aimee independently, the staff at the site knew her well and it was clear that they love working with her because of her expertise--and because she is a lovely person! Even our DJ, whom we hired just a couple weeks before the wedding date, said, "Oh, Aimee is your wedding coordinator? You have nothing to worry about then!" On the day of, she must have been at 3 places at once to make sure everything ran smoothly. Aimee is a sweet and kind person who clearly loves what she does and made me feel absolutely special (and calm) on the big day. I cannot recommend Aimee highly enough! read more

Aimee and her 2Chic Events team were the best support system I could have asked for when planning and producing our wedding last August! I felt at home with Aimee from our very first meeting - we vibed on communication style immediately and she really "got" my vision for our mountain glam event at PlumpJack in Squaw Valley. My stress level could have easily gone through the roof during the wedding planning phase - and Aimee provided me with the sounding board, support, professional know-how and responsiveness that every bride needs to keep her cool. I leaned on her both as an idea-generator/suggestion-giver AND as a reliable get-it-done person I could delegate to. Best of all, Aimee introduced me to a slew of fantastic vendors via her professional network - and I just couldn't have been happier with the results! We had a lovely, carefree day -- and I just can't thank Aimee and her team enough for everything from the vision execution to the little touches like linens and chandeliers to top-notch day-of timeline execution. Already dreaming up a five-year vow renewal party so that I can have an excuse to work with Aimee and 2Chic again...:) read more

This review is LONG overdue! I wanted to give props where deserved. Working with Aimee of 2Chic Events & Design was one of the best decisions we made when trying to figure out how we could pull off a destination beach wedding. She had never planned a wedding at our location before, and to be honest, that did make me nervous. But after meeting with her, my gut said she was the wedding planner for us. She connected us to the best vendors & venues based on our style, budget & personality. Her attention to detail, extensive research & experience was better than I expected, and she went above and beyond doing everything in her power to pull off my dream wedding! I'm not very good when it comes to design or expressing my true vision and OMG, the ideas she came up with were things I would have never even thought of. In 2015 my wife and I were engaged to get married. We had a vision of what we wanted, but it wasn't clear. After doing some research we were able to get into contact with Aimee Wendell and her 2Chic Events & Design to see if she can help. Not only did she help, but she created a experience that my wife and I will cherish and never will forget. Wedding planning can become very challenging and can create a lot of different emoitions. In our case we were trying to plan a wedding while living 7 hours away. Our avialablity was limited had to do the best with our time when we were in town. We worked with Aimee for 8-9 months leading up to our wedding. During that time all we can remember was how happy and exciting it was going through the experience. Aimee not only made sure things got done, but she made it fun and simple. The work that she puts in can't be explained in a review. There are things in life that you and your partner just have to experience for yourselves. Investing into Aimee and 2Chic was one of the best things that we ever done. There isn't a day that goes by that we wish we can go through it all over again. Thank you Aimee! for give us one of the best experience of our lives. read more
