Saw this place driving by and needed my nails done so decided to call and schedule an appointment. Did some research first and saw Christine was the best so I asked for her. Easily accommodated for a last minute Wednesday morning appointment. Started off with a pedicure, which was very relaxing (hard to go wrong on a pedicure) but even better, a week and a half later it still looks great. More impressive than my pedicure is my full set. I don't get my nails done often and last time I got a manicure out of state they legitimately cut up my fingers. Can't believe how good they look STILL! Christine and the rest of her staff were lovely. I'm usually a one and done type person when getting my nails done because they never hold up the way I want/expect but this has exceeded my expectations. This is one of the best nail places I have ever gone to. They are extremely nice and friendly. The place is very clean and super cute. I asked for acrylic red matte nail and sparkly green on my ring fingers and they gave me exactly what I wanted. They also ask question to make sure you get what you want. I highly recommend! Two days ago, I made an appointment for a pedicure. When I walked in it was obvious that the woman asked to do my pedicure did not want to do it. she sniffled the entire time, did not greet me, ask me to choose my nail color or offer me their menu. She barely cut my nails, brushed the bottom of my feet maybe 5 times, gave a quick massage and painted (poorly) my nails. She was done in 22 minutes! The owner (I believe) asked me how was my pedicure. I told her it was the worst pedicure that I ever had. She did give me a small discount. But I will never return. read more

Why they don't have more reviews is beyond me. After moving to the area this summer I had been looking for a new salon. I started going to a salon right downtown mystic, they were ok but took 2 hours and charged $65 for a gel Fill and color. So I decided to try Bliss... Christine is amazing. You do need an appointment but she does an amazing fast job whether it's gel, dip or acrylic. I did gel pink and white and my friend did acrylic ombré pink and white which looks so amazing I'm going to do that next time. I'm so happy to have found Bliss!!!!! read more

While the young woman who did my pedicure was kind, I think she must be very new to her profession. $35 is a lot to pay for something I could have done better myself. The shop was ... not clean .... or professional, and I had to change my clothes when I returned home because of the weird smell. The shop had nothing modern ... like brighter lighting or air dryers for nails. And it could stand a good cleaning, or at least the water changed in the flowers and the tables wiped down to give a cleaner appearance. read more

I had a pedi appointment. The guy was coughing and sweating and wiping his brow constantly and he insisted he was not sick. Said he had chili peppers for lunch. And forgot to use his Flonase. I received a bliss pedicure from Shara (sp?) She was very pleasant and great at her craft. My feet were very sore from walking the last two days and she made them feel amazing. I had a pedicure yesterday. My nails were not cut nor were the bottom of my feet filed. It was nothing more than a polish change and lackluster massage. We were greeted as we entered, and after we selected our colors we were seated and our pedicures began. My technician did a wonderful job, taking her time and being very attentive. If I could give it 0 stars I would although it makes me sad to admit as i hate negative reviews. Made an appointment to have a pedicure / dip manicure and showed up 10 minutes early to a completely closed shop.. this wouldn't be to big of a deal if I didn't leave work early to get here before they closed or if it wasn't my birthday. I received no update, no call, nothing to let me know they were closed or that my appointment was no longer available. If I could give zero stars I would. Three of us were on a girls weekend and I was in charge of finding a nail salon for a pedicure. When I called to book, I specifically asked how long the pedicure would be and was told 30 minutes. The pedicure was under 15 minutes. It was a polish change. One manicurist didn't acknowledge my friend at all and left the shop within 11 minutes. The owner Christine was my technician - never welcomed me or spoke with me. She was working on a woman who seemed to be a regular customer, came over to me to do my pedicure, and went back to finish her regular customer. Only the third manicurist was nice and pleasant - her name was Rachel. I feel bad for her that she has to work in such a dreadful shop. I am writing this so no one else will have such a miserable experience. We're guessing the good reviews were likely written by the owners' friends. I'd say the worst pedicure we have ever had. I repeatedly apologized to my friends. Horrible. read more

Traveling on business in the area. Drove by and decided to stop to get a fill... SO GLAD I DID!! What a nice nail salon. Christine was excellent and made my nails look amazing. I had a few nails that had chips in the side and she recommended to replace them. The new nails were shaped to match. One of the best experiences I have had getting my nails done. I had an amazing experience!! Christine did such a great job on my nails. I have heard about her work and have been meaning to come. I'm so glad I booked an appointment. Very sanitary and comfortable environment. The air didn't smell like acetone or overwhelming nail polish smell. Customer service was great and they were so friendly. The detail on my nails are amazing, I gave Christine creative freedom and she was able to deliver, exceeding my expectations. I was treating my daughter to have her nails done before her wedding. They said you could schedule an appointment online and so I chose the service I wanted, the date and time. Well the day before the appointment, I get a call and they said they didn't have availability. Why would have dates to choose from listed if you then call and say you haven't the availability. Lovely salon - so glad I found this place for some pampering while on a getaway in Mystic. Christine was very kind and attentive. The salon was very clean - the nail artists use gloves and a plastic liner for the pedicures! Parking is very easy, which is a definite plus.
