No risk of chemical burns or reactions, and sugaring does not take a layer of dead skin off of your body so your skin stays smoother for a longer period of time. I'm officially giving up shaving for sugaring, as the benefits (price, time used, time saved, better for your skin, etc) outweigh any possible cons (only con I can think of is if you actually like to shave?). The person who was doing my nails was so rough and seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. She cut my skin so many times and my cuticles started to bleed. SHE NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED. After I told her to stop Becs my fingers were hurting so bad from all the cuts she gave me, I told her I just wanted her to take it off. She then called over the owner I assum and she asked me if I ever got my nails done before and I said yes but I haven't gotten it done for around 8 months since I've moved to Connecticut and I've NEVER had my hands hurt like this to the point where I'm SHAKING. She goes on to say I'm just very tender handed and that they've been doing this for over 10 years and they also stated that they've cut their clients before some people can handle it and some people can't.
