I work a blue collar job so for me regular self care is a must. I get to dictate exactly what I want during the session. (I pay for tier 3) If I wsnt just upper body- that's what we'll do. I see Lindsey and she's quite excellent at what she does. She always seems happy to see me but I think she's just a happy person in general and truly enjoys what she does! My husband sees Chris every month and that woman is the first person to massage my husband hard enough during a deep tissue! He's got thick muscles and no one wants to ever go as deep as he needs. I always look forward to my treatments at Baah Spa (usually massages, sometimes facials) because they always deliver. Front desk staff are always welcoming and do all they can to make you feel comfortable and relaxed before your service. All of the massage therapists I have worked with have been great at communicating and asking questions as well as great at providing thorough service. I always leave feeling relaxed and looking forward to my next appointment. I've had many services at Baah Spa and have been so pleased with them all! I highly recommend!!! (Facials, massage therapy, foot soaks, and even a birthday "spa day!") --The facials I've had improved my skin notably making me wish I took before and after photos of my face and pores. Plus, they're so relaxing it's almost hard to stay awake! --Problem areas in my back, neck, and shoulder have been alleviated with massage therapy and keeping up with "maintenance" appointments makes these problem areas non-existent. (Some people don't realize the importance of regular massage therapy for your overall, it makes such a difference in how I feel, mentally and physically!) --The staff at Baah Spa (I've seen three different staff members) are awesome. Why did I wait so long?! Why did I think "I'm not worth it" or "it's probably too expensive "? I went here for my first time last month and used some of my birthday money. I booked a regular massage, no hot stones, nothing intense, when I got there I was introduced to my massage therapist Denine, I didn't pick her since I had never been before but I have to say it was a blessing I got her! I can't speak for any of the other massage therapists there since I have only had Denine work on me. She was just the right amount of personable the first time and I knew she knew exactly what she was doing as she would get to certain areas on me that I know I have issues with. She is the read deal, not a "fluff massage therapist ". She did from head to toes literally. I had lasting effects for weeks! I suffer from allergies to the point I get swelling around my jawline as well as bags under my eyes, after my massage these subsided for weeks! She did some deep muscle releasing for my hips, loosened up tight toes and fingers, got more mobility out of my shoulders, I could go on. They have a monthly club there that is no extra fees and no commitment simply scheduling a service once every month gives you a big discount! I love this place. read more

Well isn't this place just a little slice of heaven. Though it's not much to look at from the outside, do make an appointment and be prepared to be wowed. Priscilla gave me once of the best facials I've had in my life. My skin is still glowing days later. We were greeted so warmly and handed nice hot tea. My appointment was several months ago but I only just now found time to write it. Overall when I came in the place looked really nice. I had a late appointment and when I got there, there was no one around. I stood around for about 10 minutes before anyone came up from the back room, they apologized said an appointment ran late and had me have a seat, said they'd be right with me. (I found it odd that there wasn't a receptionist to do this, but oh well.) Finally, I entered the room for my waxing - approximately 20/25 minutes after I got there. The woman seemed nice, she kind of went over everything with me. This wasn't my first wax so I knew what to expect. Anyways, the reason I'm giving this place a one star is because of how this woman proceeding with the wax. She did not wear any gloves what so ever. She kept going from waxing my private bits to pushing up her glasses and then moving her hair out of her face. For whatever reason she had to keep stepping out of the room which I thought was a bit unprofessional as well. Overall it was a really unpleasant experience. The end result did not even turn out to be that great either. No one is perfect, I get that. But as I was getting dressed I noticed a lot of areas of hair that were easily missed. I was so disappointed that I didn't even bother with calling her back in to fix it - I had been there long enough. I literally went home after my appointment and redid everything that she had done. What an incredible experience. I happened to find this little gem on Groupon and I'm grateful I did I went in for a massage. The place is beautiful and relaxing. We discussed the products they use and the massage options. Lindsey is proud of her salon (and should be) and knowledgeable of the product components. She took the time to discuss my concerns and expectations. The massage was fantastic. They have a program that reduces the cost if you have your next massage within 30 days. At 12 weeks pregnant I went to a big fancy spa for a maternity massage. They had a table with a hole in the middle and while it was a good massage it was a bit awkward and I wasn't able to fully relax laying on my belly even with the hole cut out. At 16 weeks I went to Baah Spa and had a very different experience! I was a little hesitant about being able to relax laying on my side for a massage but I assumed that all maternity massages were a little awkward and uncomfortable. That was far from my experience with Callie at Baah Spa! I couldn't believe how much more relaxed and comfortable I was snuggled up with pillows on my side! Callie was super aware and interested in my comfort level given being pregnant which only made the experience that much better. read more

I purchased a $80.00 gift certificate to take my grandaughter out for a girls spa date. I tried to make appointments 3 times, once with the appointment scheduled over a month from the date that I called. I was told each time that there was nothing available. I called today hoping to make an appointment for Thursday, again only to be told that there was nothing available. I asked tbat they refund my $80.00 and was told that the gift certificates are non refundable. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and suggest that you do too. 0 stars for this business. read more

I came to this spa for my first time on Saturday morning, 3/4/17 for a facial appointment. To start off the atmosphere was welcoming and the employees were all extremely attentive and kind. The waiting room was warm and gentle, which turned out to be important after waiting an extra 20 minutes from when my appointment was set for them to be ready. Having had many facials before, in comparison this was sub-par at best. The room was brisk and poorly decorated (color scheme, decor, candles were not lit when I entered but were lit later in front of me) The esthetician seemed knowledgeable in regards to my skincare but throughout my time with her was not the "warm and relaxing" personality I would hope for. To start, when you are instructed to remove the majority of your clothing to get under the blankets; the esthetician left the room so I could do so. Upon re-entering the room she did not knock and simply just walked in. I found this highly inappropriate due to it not only being common protocol, but the basic level of privacy. The esthetician proceeded to leave the lights on through the entire cleansing process of the facial. Overall she completed the facial treating it more like a trip to the doctors as opposed to a relaxing 60+ minutes at the spa. In its entirety, the facial itself was done to a sufficient level. She completed the major components I would expect (cleansing, extracting, detox mask) but simply lacked to add any relaxing or otherwise enjoyable additions. The esthetician failed to protect my hair at all so at the end I found about 3 inches of my hair coated in product used during the facial. Therefore simply in comparison to others I found my experience to be completed with a lack of care or effort. With this all being said; I will reiterate that this is my only experience with The Baah Spa. I cannot attest to any of their other services or estheticians, but in my opinion you can find a few other spas in the area who offer similar pricing for a better experience. read more
