Her background includes working in a medical clinic so that gives her a plus in the knowledge area that guides her practice. She is careful with the advice she dispenses yet thorough in the care she provides. It is definitely a deep cleansing facial. You do not get sweet talked into relaxation. Debbie gives you what you need in order to walk out of her place with skin that is dewy and radiant. I always tease her that there is not a spot on my face that escapes her eye. I love it. You have to prepare to be on that facial bed for over an hour. She does not rush or skimp on any procedure that you may need to get your skin at its best. She is also not a product pusher which I absolutely appreciate. Debbie is so good she does not need any extra marketing. Her boon and bane are one: having more than enough clients to fit into availability. I being one of the new ones that want to go back repeatedly. If you are new and are fortunate enough to be added on a cancellation list, take it! It will get easier to get in as you become a more regular client. The wait is worth it. As a marketing professional, I adhere to the definition of value as the perceived set of benefits being worth the cost and not to mean "inexpensive or cheap". This is what I get from Nectar Skincare. Truly grrreat value.

This place could be so special. But man is the organization and management something else. The…read moremassage therapist are some of the best around. But let's outline the issues. 1. Went for my birthday with a group of 5 of us. The night before at 530 pm- they close at 6, we get an email, not a phone call, that my therapist called out sick and they had to reschedule my massage to a later or earlier time- which wouldn't allow us to all eat lunch together as planned. We tried calling back but of course they were closed. Life happens, but why couldn't they have called so we could have tried to reschedule everything that night? 2. All of the times of our services were delayed or changed day of. I sat in the relaxation room waiting for 30 minutes for my massage that was supposed to start at 1, which is the time they told me Twice. But after waiting they said it was at 115. Then they took me for 130. I would have hung out by the pool. My mom's facial was 20 minutes late and ended 10 minutes early. 3. We went for the oh spa after dark special which was a mimosa bar and snacks. By the time I was done with my facial, most of the champagne was gone. I asked if they could put another bottle out, and I was told "they usually only put two out". She did end up getting a third bottle. But there were about 15-20 people by then in the spa and the event was supposed to go from 4-8. Two bottles? And the snacks? A cheese plate that was covered with molded cheese. 4. Because of all the cancellations and issues, we were told the management would make sure we had a nice time. And again, the therapists were so lovely. They did bring out chocolate covered strawberries for my birthday, but they do that for any birthday. And when my mom told the front desk her facial was cut short close to 20 minutes, they did not offer any kind of discount or any special treatments. 5. Finally, when you check out, you have to pay for each service individually. Facial. Massage, everything. My mom had 5 bills. Why can't they be combined? Again, services were wonderful, but the organization and management leaves little to be desired. Especially when you are paying top dollar, you just expect better. Maybe go for a simple massage, but I don't know if I'd spend a special day celebrating with them again.

I did not have a good experience with the massage at all. First of all our timing was changed last…read moreminute because a therapist called out. they charge customers if you cancel last minute so that was quite aweful Considering I travelled 2 hours to go there to meet up with friends. Was not offered any compensation for it but after calling and having the manager "review" it they offered 15%. Massage I got was a bespoke massage. Service is quite expensive compared to other massage places and gratuity automatically gets charged. I asked the massouse to "go heavier" and he did not. It truly felt like I was getting lotion rubbed on my body rather than a massage and I work out 4x a week so I was really looking for more pressure. Service at the front desk was not friendly/no smiles just very cold Front. Do not think I'll be going back there again.

My first Apothecary facial was back in 2013. The gal who worked with me was obviously hung over, not happy about being there that morning, and gave me an absolutely amazing pore popping, skin changing facial. Walked out of there feeling like a million bucks .. and that I'd just spent an hour with my worst frenemy. I returned for another facial last month and met with a different gal; very sweet, but provided the most unenthusiastic spa service I've ever received. Again - an absolutely fabulous facial, but left me lying on the table for 5 - 10 minutes at a time in between treatments. Get up off the chair and throw in some massage for crying out loud .. don't just let me lay there! Two fabulous facials, two totally bizarre experiences - I will be back! =) How can I not?!
