I made it clear multiple times to my stylist that I did not want to continue dying my hair and was aiming to return to my natural color. My hair turned out to be almost black at the ends, a stark contrast to the light blonde roots I had, which was the exact opposite of what I had asked for. I tried to explain my concerns to the stylist right away, but she didn't seem to fully acknowledge the mistake. Afterward, the owner reached out to better understand what had happened, which I appreciated. However, she seemed to side with the stylist, stating that my hair looked "okay" and that it "doesn't look bad." She even offered to lighten it again free of charge, but I'm absolutely terrified of going back to a salon where this kind of damage was done in the first place. Overall, it was an awful experience. Despite reading reviews and doing some research beforehand, I've learned that you really can't trust salons to follow your requests.
