Much improved since my last visit- very clean and professional staff. Prices competitive for the area.

I'm in town for a wedding and needed to get my nails done. I chose Elegance because of their ratings and they did not disappoint. Nina, my technician, had a plan to save my nails and save me money and boy did it work! She did a wonderful job and did exactly what I wanted in terms of nail art. The color is absolutely perfect with the dress that I am wearing. Highly recommend this salon and Nina in particular. read more

Elegance Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Old Saybrook, Connecticut

the best nails salon in my old Saybrook. Clean place. Both girls that did an amazing job on my nails, Elsa did my pedicure and Eisa did my manicure. This will be my new place to go now! They didn't pushed me do anything other service and didn't stand there waiting for their tips which I think is great! read more

Over priced. Me and my family got the number 2, and gave them a $7 tip per person. One of the employees publicly shamed us for not tipping enough and asking for $15 more. Furthermore, they gave a sand burn to one of our toes when doing our nails. Experience overall was decent but the tip thing and other minor things make for a bad taste in my mouth and experience. read more

My mom and sisters and I have gone here for many years now and we never leave disappointed. Everyone is so friendly and kind, they're extremely clean and it's all around a great experience. If anyone is looking for a place to get a mani-pedi, THIS IS IT! read more

I went here a few weeks ago and was not at all satisfied with the girl I had. Two days later the edges of my big toes split and had to cut them! Even the polish came off. I never want her to Do my pedicures again but not sure how to approach that when I go back there. I have always been satisfied. And Carmen doesn't work here anymore. She works down the road now. read more

Pro: Friendly staff. Con/experience: 2 nails (tips) came off in less than 12 hrs. Also the tips are glued on- no gel no powder for $50. There is a gap between the nail polish and my actual nail. Nails were not cut appropriatly. Some are longer than others, some curve, some have indents. They rushed to finish my nails because there was a large group coming in which is not acceptable. Two people working on my nails to finish quickly. Advice: if you don't have enough time to properly do the job, tell the customer. A lot of money for terrible nails. Do not recommend read more

$13 for a manicure that is still perfect six days later and a free shoulder massage. Literally the best deal I may have ever encountered. A friend and I stopped in on a Friday morning for manicures. There was plenty of staff in the large space so there was no wait. Elegance has a large variety of polishes, mostly OPI and Essie colors. I was asked what shape I like my nails to be as well as if I wanted them just filed or cut and filed. I like having options and being consulted on these types of things. The actual manicure took about 20 minutes. I felt like the employees paid attention to detail, took their time and made sure the final product looked spotless. They also encourage you to pay before they add polish so you don't mess up your nails fiddling around with money. Everything in Elegance is very clean and it is obvious that they have a ton of returning, regular customers. After your manicure or pedicure as you are sitting at the drying station, you receive a wonderful, free shoulder massage. It was a little less than 10 minutes. I typically never wait long enough for my nails to dry and this is a perfect way to pass that time. This is worth the $13 by itself. Elegance does not take tips on credit or debit cards so make sure you have some cash on hand for tips. Though I do not live in the area, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, clean, friendly and affordable nail place. read more

Impeccably clean. Appointments on time. Safety Provisions being enforced. Respectful staff. Excellent manicures.

Best place on the shoreline to get your nails done. Friendly staff, clean environment, variety of services. Esa and Kyle are my go to for a gel manicure. I have been coming here for years wouldn't trust anyone else. They even help me pick the best colors for me when I can't decide! read more

I love going here, every single time I try a new or different place for what ever reason I always regret not going here and hurry back. The updates a renovation completed during Covid shutdown are awesome. Elegance was always clean but now it sparkles. Friendly, hardworking staff that make it fun to go in for services. But the bottom line is my nails last longer when I get them done here - it won't disappoint. read more

I love this place. Great service and very friendly staff. Pedicures last very well as do manicures. Very clean and professional. They also include a complimentary massage as you sit at the drying station. I have been coming here for almost 10 years and have never had a bad experience. read more

Very convenient, walk ins welcomed and I have never had to wait long. They have the latest OPI colors and shellac. Clean, courteous and the shoulder and neck massages are nice bonuses!! read more

I have been going here for years and have rarely been disappointed. It's clean, they are friendly business people and family oriented. They usually have someone available for a massage while your nails dry and have upbeat music playing. I've tried other places now and again but always return to Elegance. They updated a couple of years ago and the pedi chairs offer a back massage which is a nice perk but overall they aren't the most comfy spa chairs I've experienced. read more

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago and I was not disappointed. The guy doing my nails was really nice to me and did an excellent job. I will be back soon. read more

I went here for pedis today with my 5 year old daughter. Everyone was friendly and the place was nice and clean. I paid $30 for my basic pedi and $20 for my daughter's. Plus another $5 to get her finger nails painted. They did great with her. No complaints. read more

I had a great experience with my bridesmaids yesterday! They had balloons and a bridal sash for me and did an excellent job on all of our nails! I highly recommend Elegance Nails! read more

Amateur hour. Possibly the worst pedicure I've ever had. I didn't even get polish since I'm just going to head next door to Villa and have them provide a proper pedicure service. I was going to get a gel manicure also, but changed my mind REAL QUICK. Not a happy customer at all. Very disappointing and frankly irritated that I paid $45 for a callous scrub, because that's pretty much all I got. read more

Love the staff. They are so nice and understand exactly what you want done and how it's done. They treat me like family!!!

I like this place. Nina is great. I ended up getting the SNS powdered gel bcuz its suppose to be softer on the nails n Nina did a great job. However this line of products doesnt seem to last not even a week. I confirm that with another client who was sitting next to me at the salon. For the price, I dont think I'll go with this product anymore. Ill stick to the original gel nails. read more

Living full time in Manhattan, I have had plenty of experience with nail salons, and over the years of coming home to CT, Elegance has always put the NYC salons to shame. Whether it's a pedicure or gel manicure, I am never disappointed. I struggle to find a gel manicure that stays the full two weeks.. at Elegance, the gel manicure surpasses the two weeks, often staying through a third week. Everyone is trained the same way, so no matter who does your nails, they will always come out perfectly. I am a little biased towards Kyle, but I can promise not a single member of their staff will disappoint. read more

I've been going to Elegance nails since they opened. I've recommended them to a number of friends. I have never been disappointed. They are very professional and friendly. The shop is very clean and updated. Their pedicures are top-notch. The free massage with hot stone provided as my nails dry is the best reason of all to go there! read more
