Went in for a full set of gel nails. The technician took her time, was very sweet, and did an AMAZING job. They are so smooth and even and gorgeous the photos don't do it justice. Prices were reasonable too especially for the area. read more

Villa Nail Spa - Madison - Full set gel nails with gel polish - Nail Salons Near Me - Madison, Connecticut

I've given this salon multiple opportunities over the past year because I genuinely want to support local businesses. Unfortunately, after trying several technicians and numerous appointments, my experience has been consistently disappointing. The quality of the gel manicures has been below expectations, with uneven application, bumps in the polish, and products that often appear old or thickened. Attention to detail is lacking, particularly when it comes to nail shaping and cuticle care. On more than one occasion, I've had to file my own nails or address cuticle work myself during the appointment. Service is also extremely slow, yet the results rarely reflect the amount of time spent. I often felt that technicians were not listening to what I was asking for or did not have the skill level necessary to achieve the requested shape or finish. If you're looking for quality nail services in the area, I would suggest making the drive to Elegance Nails in Old Saybrook instead. read more

I have been using the same color nail polish for YEARS. Today, I had my nails done at Villa and selected the color I always use. I don't know if they're adding something to the bottles, switching stickers or refilling old bottles with something else, but the color on my nails is most definitely not the color labeled on the bottle. Nail tech said the bottle was labeled Mademoiselle so that's what it was. Something similar happened once before and I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but now I think they're doing it on purpose. Most expensive manicure around and they're lying to customers. No thanks. Too many other nail salons in town to continue spending my money there. read more

The nail salon is really clean and aesthetic! Best nail salon in the neighborhood!!!!

After several tries and misses with other salons, I came to Villa on a friend's recommendation. The spa is clean and well run. They have loads of color selections, and treatment options. Coco is the best! She is attentive, quiet and detail oriented. Both mani and pedi services are excellent and when you add in the complimentary shoulder massage, it is worth a visit. read more

Very clean and well staffed environment. Located in the Stop & Shop Plaza in Madison behind route one, downtown. Plenty of color options and spa services available! I have been going to the Guilford location since its inception, years and years ago! I have also visited the old Saybrook location and recently visited this Madison location for the first time. I was very happy with the gel manicure and spa pedicure, as well as my technicians skills! I will definitely return! They have OPI! read more

i've spent a lot of money for services and tips at Villa nail. The staff are not genuinely friendly, and at times I had felt like they acted like I was imposing on them. Many of them do not speak English, which makes it awkward and at times when they're speaking Chinese to each other, it feels like they're talking and laughing about the customers, I think they should work on having better social etiquette and more available translators to assist with communication during service I've decided not to spend any more money with them and go elsewhere. It's very expensive and for the amount of money that I have paid for services in tips I expect to get a lot more out of it at least polite etiquette. read more

I usually never leave reviews online, but this nail salon is my go to and consistently provides exceptional service every single time. They are attentive to detail and everyone is kind and greets you upon entrance. The whole aesthetic of the salon is bright, airy and clean. I would like to note that no matter who you get, the quality remains the same! I would like to shoutout Lee, Vivian, Diana, and Titi for their beautiful work. Also, Kaven hands down provides the best massage following your service. Any service here whether manicure or pedicure is the perfect opportunity for self-care and Madison's new location is close to home and convenient for those of us on the shoreline! read more

I have been very loyal to Villa, I love the staff and free massage but the last few times I went in for a dip manicure, my nails chipped or cracked within days. I had my nails done there two days ago and they already look like this read more

Always wonderful, clean and professional. Call ahead to avoid potential disappointment. Usually they can get you in asap.

went it for a gel manicure, showed the lady the design i wanted and she claimed she could do it but i left with nails all different sizes, shapes and thicknesses. they look horrible and also were over $100. the lady also was extremely aggresive and yanked on my nails many times causing extreme pain which i still feel read more

I went to this salon because of the buzz in town. I really had a terrible experience one that I had before in the Villa Nails in Guilford. Yes it is new and yes it is kinda clean and well decorated. I had a gentleman who spoke no English and was a beginner at his job. He pulled my cuticles on Oy feet a terrible time! Then painted my finger nails halfway !! I really think if you have a business care a bit more about the work. Your manicurists should have some training! I will not recommend this salon and there are better qualified people who do nails in Madison. read more

I paid for a manicure using Dazzle Dry which is $10 more than regular polish. I've been using Dazzle Dry for well over a year and know that the color dries matte in between coats. The polish was in a Dazzle Dry bottle but what came out of it definitely was not. To add to that, I came in with almond shaped nails with good length and came out with short round nails. I think the girl who did them was new so I can forgive that, but switching the polish in the bottle and charging more for it is inexcusable. Definitely better places in the area to go to. read more

Villa does a great job. The quality of products that they use are awesome. The polish doesn't chip for me on a gel manicure/pedicure and I'm not a danty person. read more

Great pedicures and the people who work there are very nice and keep the place very clean. I relax the whole time listening to my music and enjoying getting my nails done. read more

I went to this Villa Location and walked in- I AM IN LOVE with the tone and store setting. The interior design gave chic clean studio- something i hold at top value. At first, when they were doing my nails, it was a struggle but after some gall and patience, YES! THEY PULLED IT OFF! I am very proud of this Villa Nail location. I was nervous to see if they could pull off uv gel without the tip (use brush to mold the shape) because of my last experience at a different villa location in Ct- but I was very impressed!! The nail techs at the Madison location (i had amy specifically) DID FANTASTIC! I'm proud to say that I do love their work! Great job! I will be going back again! Service, great! aesthetic, great! hospitality, great! finished work (amy), pleased! Two days later? THEY HAVENT POPPED OFF OR BROKEN! For those who are looking into a protecting style, this salon knows how to pull it off as well. my friend has a nail biting problem and while i was watching them do her nails, i was pleased by their work as well- and she made them purposely illy durable but not chunky looking for extra durability! Great Job Villa Madison!! read more

Nice nail salon - a great place to relax . The place is clean and the employees are very friendly and accommodating.

Great job and clean facilities !! Friendly and welcoming to all customers . Love the treatment received

This was the worst pedicure I have ever received. I got a light color and only got 2 coats so it was extremely opaque, the woman didn't even remove all of my old polish so you could see it through the new color. Overall, very unimpressed and will not be going back. read more

Walked in for a manicure last week, no appt. Was taken right away. Very clean, attentive, beautiful job.

Super cute place, very nice people. I got a manicure with tips and dip powder and a pedicure. Both were good the only problem they seem to have is with the finishing. The edges of both the mani and pedi are a little bumpy, nothing that a little file won't fix. I'm going to chalk it up to them being new and just be a little more picky next time. I will be back read more

Great experience! Pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff.

The Guilford location has been my go to for years, I'm so happy they opened another location right near my office. I typically get a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. I don't have a set technician, but in general all of them are very meticulous and do a great job. The gels keep their shine and typically last about 2 weeks without chipping until my nail beds grow out, even though I'm really rough on my nails. Really good color selection and the complimentary back massage as your nails dry is the perfect finishing touch. They've been really busy, so recommend calling ahead to make sure they have space to fit you in! read more
