Today was my first day back to the salon and what an outstanding job they have done to keep their staff and clients safe!!! Your appointment starts with a temperature check, sanitizer and you must wear a mask. The nail stations are separated by plastic shields and the nail tables have a protective shield as well! Everything is sanitized before new clients come in and immediately after. They have truly thought of everything!!!!! Most important is to call for an appointment!!!! They are keeping the number of people in the salon to a minimum so NO WALK IN'S! My hands and feet so needed this and they look beautiful and I felt 100% safe! Wow.... If I could double, triple the stars for this establishment I would. During my recent visit a large group of us crazy girls were in need of some pampering, as we left one of our favorite watering holes (Shep's Tavern) we popped in to see availability and they seated us immediately. That was the beginning of what I hope to be a long relationship with this salon! My mom, niece, daughter, evil twin sister and I had the best time there. Great staff, super clean salon, excellent work, and way fair pricing!! I hope their business blossoms, it seemed like there were quite a few regulars which is tough when your not on the main street, or cheapest prices (always remember Cheap is not always a bargain). I love this place. It's simple, yet fulfills exactly what you need. You can tell that it's owner-run with pride. My latest visit, the color I chose didn't come out as expected (more iridescent when I stood up) on my toes. They were happy to apply a different color and did not make me feel bad about it at all. This place is amazing!!! Seriously. I have lived all over the country (LA, SD, PHX, DFW, MIA, BWI, Etc.) and had many gel manicures but this business really does it right. I found them through Yelp because it was close to my work. After the second visit they knew my name. Their services far exceeds the price they charge. A basic gel manicure is $35, I know this seems a little steep but everything that is included makes it well worth it, I promise! Amazing shoulder, back & neck massage while your old gel is being soaked off. Great quality polishes...nothing bold or flashy in terms of selection just classy and adult. The application is very clean and uniform. Includes a hand massage following color application as well as a paraffin was dip. The owner Haksun aka Matt even insisted on walking me to my car with an umbrella on a rainy night. His wife "Donna" always has amazing color suggestions for my nails too. Service and Hospitality are not the same thing...this business masters both flawlessly! So thankful to have found this amazing salon as my "happy place" after some stressful work days. read more

Good prices, especially for the 203 shoreline area. No complaints on the nails, although it is rare I find a salon that can't do a good basic manicure. The reason for Green Nail Spa is better than the rest? Well, since I was the only customer on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon the staff didn't have much else to do and I was given a back massage nearly the entire time the other manicurist did my nails. Oh my. This place knows what they're doing! My mom and I went in today, for a manicure and a foot massage. We were the only people in the place, and they treated us like royalty!! I got an unexpected paraffin dip with my mani, and a neck massage I would have paid the $12 for, alone. My nail artist received a phone call during my manicure and somehow managed to answer it while not missing a beat painting my nails! Maybe he gives lessons? I looked over at my mom during her foot massage, and she looked like she had conked out right there in the chair. They gave her a hot stone treatment, and a heated neck wrap. Talented people here. I've been to this place twice. They do a great job with nails and cuticle care. I actually like the fact that they do the cuticles dry because they cut just enough and not too much. However, I do not like that they don't autoclave the clippers etc. between uses. I noticed that the cuticle clipper had remnants of a previous client and that is just gross. I also noticed that each aesthetician only has one set of instruments that they autoclave which leads to believe that they don't clean them thoroughly between clients. Would return again, but please be more hygienic. It is kinda gross to see someone else's skin in your instruments. read more

I always love when Matt does my nails because he is so meticulous and he know's me by my name which I always like too. This is a rather delayed review! I took my sister-in-law here for an early Christmas gift when she was visiting. I recently moved here from CA and had yet to find a great nail salon (albeit, I have not been to very many yet). Our experience was wonderful! I have been to many but this was by far the best experience. The people were so nice and everything was super clean. You get so much for a great price (extra long leg and foot massage, shoulder massage, and great service). They even gave us each a sweet Christmas gift of body oil. It was great. What a fantastic--and cheap--manicure! The young woman gave me one of he best manicures I have had in a long time. It has been over a week and it still looks great. She took such care and even put on an extra coat of clear after it had dried for a while. And during the drying process gave me a shoulder and neck rub! All for $12! This is the ultimate hidden gem! So glad that I found this place. The prices are reasonable and you get so much bang for your buck. The pedicure was extremely relaxing, neat, they give a hot stone massage and wrap your heels, then while your feet are drying, they give you a shoulder massage. I was shocked when the price came out to only $30. I also really liked that they did not talk in a different language much in front of customers, which isn't a big deal to me but I know it is to some people. Just a nice touch. My daughter and I stopped here one afternoon for a manicure after reading the reviews on yelp. Well there were 2 customers in the place and we were told they were unable to accommodate us. The pedicure was the best I've ever had. I'd often wondered why some woman enjoy their pedicures so much. Now I understand. Next, while being manicured, I got a lovely shoulder massage. Also noteworthy: I had broken one of my nails way down and pain was imminent. The manicurist patched the break so well, it's still holding a month later. Matt and Donna take so much pride in what they do and it shows as this salon is super clean, they are so sweet, the atmosphere is relaxing...everything you would want. They never rush you and the quality of their work is tops.
