I've noticed a consistent pattern of curt, dismissive, and unwelcoming behavior--particularly from the immigrant woman stationed in the back. Her tone and demeanor often come across as abrasive and unnecessarily harsh. More concerning, however, is the racial undertone in how certain customers are treated. As a patron of color, I've observed subtle yet unmistakable instances of racial bias--ranging from dismissive service to demeaning interactions that do not align with basic standards of respect or professionalism. Additionally, there are frequent instances of upselling and noticeable price inflations on common items. I encourage customers to verify product prices online or at alternative retailers to ensure transparency. If you feel you've been mistreated, overcharged, or want to report businesses that fail to display prices--potentially overcharging customers at random--you can file a complaint with the New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) by visiting nyc.gov/dcwp or calling 311 and requesting consumer complaint assistance. As consumers, we deserve respectful and equitable treatment--especially in businesses that profit largely from Black and Brown clientele.

First of all, they do not have a system where you can receive a refund, only store credit. A store clerk rung up my products for the wrong price, charged my debit card (it went through instantly) and when I asked her about it, she said she was able to give me a store credit...... what? Why can't I get a refund of what is owed? The "manager" came and said there was nothing he could do about it. This is not the first time something like this has happened to me at this location and it's very sad that this is the only business in the area to meet our beauty needs. Of course, the owners aren't Black but operating in a mainly Black and Hispanic community with NO type of compassion, concern, or empathy for its consumers. Don't even start to ask about the products because they don't know , and will only send you to the best selling. I'm soooooo sick of them and I will take my business all the way across town to White Plains Rd where you find better prices, owners that look like you and actually know what.
