Shopping for glasses at this particular location couldn't have been easier, and it really helped that we came in knowing what we were looking for. They didn't have my son's frames in stock, so they custom ordered them. Since we had to use our VSP insurance, they will go to a VSP lab before being shipped back to the store. It will be well worth the wait, because our insurance saved us a significant amount of money. We saved hundreds. And, no upselling whatsoever. I'm so glad we found this location! The office itself was very clean and Covid safe. They took our temperatures, we filled out a questionnaire, and everyone was wearing masks. We were in and out in no time at all. I'm sorry I forgot the name of the lady who helped us out, because she was amazing and took care of everything for us...including the LensCrafters hold on our VSP account (per prior review). We finally had an opportunity to visit Zeifert when my husband decided to get a new pair of glasses. There was no need for an eye exam so we only experienced the store portion. It is as lovely inside as outside. Clean and organized. The bad: The initial portion of our experience was awkward - it took them a moment to start talking to us and then they were very focused on getting all the details of my hubby's insurance. The lady who was dealing with us kept asking her co-worker if she found the insurance info yet, if she can confirm it, is it there, does he have insurance, do you have it, did you find it...? I am really not sure why was this so important as the insurance only covered small percentage of the glasses cost, we still had to pay most of the total price. The good: Once she confirmed the insurance details, her demeanor changed, she smiled and started helping us choosing the frames. From then on, our experience was great. They have a nice selection and it took us a while to settle on the winner. They even had his prescription strength in stock so we were able to have the complete glasses at home that evening. Prices: It is hard to judge if the prices here are much higher than at any other eye glasses store, however based on the location I would say yes. Definitely not a bargain place :) Overall: If price is not a deciding factor, I would recommend Zeifert for your eyeglasses needs. Really nice people that take their time to get it right and listen to my concerns. My first experience was great but something was off with one of the lenses. They ordered a replacement and honestly after that I had the best vision I ever remember having. I just recently upgraded again and my experience was once again terrific. Life forced me to make a decision when last year I found out my primary optometrist was moving and I knew I didn't want to stay with anyone else in that office anymore. I definitely want a place that's clean. A polite bedside manner is preferable. I especially wanted someone to believe me. I have had such a weird experience with my vision with having lazy eye, diplopia, etc.; I just want someone to believe me when I say I don't see as well as I believe I can. I got very lucky with Dr. Han at Focal Point. I previously avoided Korean eye doctors due to previous bad experiences, but I saw this clinic had good reviews and gave it a shot. I feel so blessed because I have now found an optometrist I can truly trust and believes me when I say something is off about my sight. Dr. Han listened to my concerns, needs, and even helped me try different prescriptions. I haven't purchased my contacts yet because I'm trying the different prescriptions still but she even let me know about rebates and savings I would get. I'm so incredibly grateful. Five stars for any patient care facility is a BIG DEAL for me so trust me when I say I recommend Focal Point to everyone.

The store was completely empty except for us, yet we were never greeted or offered any assistance. One of the women in the back stayed seated and barely looked up from her iPad. The only interaction we had was a quick "goodbye" as we were leaving. Overall, it was a pretty odd experience. I'm not sure why the vibe felt so off, but if I return, I'd likely shop online or visit the Woodfield location instead, where the staff has been much more friendly and accommodating.
