This is my terrible, unadulterated story! Our first impression was like walking into a used car sales event. Friendly but insincere however we liked the product. We returned after some time and the same insincere greeting and spiel. Inevitably they ordered the wrong product. **Caution** Careful, they are very deliberate about you signing off on the order, and they hold you to that. This alone is a clue. We pointed to the fabric choice 2x and assumed they put in the right codes into their computer. They did not! We didn't triple check assuming they were the experts on their system. Confirmation after measurement was supposed to be sent via email and it was not! I checked junk mail, spam filters, etc. Maybe it went somewhere? Only after a call did the order go in, 2 weeks later. The order arrived and it was wrong. We asked that they just make the right one. Sorry! Not going to happen, "remember you signed off". Now we had asked and verified 2x the fabric we wanted. Asking for the right product and we the sales person said, "Not my call. Store Manager's call." Store manager said, "50% of the replacement order". You have got to be kidding me; these are not cheap. He said, take it up with corporate who just reiterated the same 50% of line. Now we have NO product and are out a substantial amount of money. Either be very diligent or my best advice is to find a more reputable business partner. read more

Janis, and the store manger, both helped us althrough the process from the day we came to select the blinds till we pick up - professional and friendly, very helpful. This is the 2nd times we purchase blinds from this Tysons showroom. All good experiences. We will back to this Tysons showroom whenever we needed more blinds. Happy experiences. read more

This is the first time I've taken time out to post a review because it's deserving. My blinds/shades journey was an unexpected one. I recently replaced all of my old, original aluminum windows with new vinyl ones and during the process, it became apparent that I lost quite a bit of depth in the window frames - therefore my old blinds no longer fit. It was an unfortunate and very big surprise additional expense that I didn't plan for but my wife and I had to deal with it and figure out a solution quick because 27 open windows meant zero privacy. I started doing a lot of research across online only blind companies, invited a few custom blinds companies over to my house for an estimate, and stopped by a couple retail blinds stores. When asked what my budget was - I was told by many of the stores and in-home salespeople that my price doesn't exist and that their starting price was over double my expectations. So I landed on an online retailer that was a bit over my price range but not DOUBLE and extremely close to pulling the trigger and "Checking Out" my cart. But I didn't because one of their sales reps reached out saying they could provide an additional discount and extended warranty for free if I bought through them - so I emailed the person back saying let's do it. He never got back to me.... Thankfully. Because while I was waiting, I decided to try one more store on a whim which was Blinds to Go in Vienna and was greeted by Jacob 30 minutes before they closed. I thought he was going to give me a big long presentation on their blind quality, features, etc. and really sell me on the stuff and holding back price until the very end and hard sell me. However, much to my shock, when I told him upfront that I was just trying to fit my budget and needed pricing more than anything - he was extremely quick and efficient in finding the blinds in my price point, walked me through the options, and then gave me a full comprehensive quote. I told him I needed my wife to help make color decisions so I couldn't buy that day and he was just like "no worries, I pretty much live here so call me or stop by whenever you need me." I returned later that week with my wife and we were introduced to the Store Manager Wahid who was also very helpful. My wife and I picked a few upgrades that increased the total cost past my budget and Wahid personally worked with me to figure out how we could get things closer to my budget. I signed the contract on a Sunday and they sent out Mauricio the very next day (Monday) to measure every single window 6 different ways each. Then I came back on 12/10 to walk through every detail of each window in the order form with Wahid to make 100% sure everything was correct and specified to my liking. Order was placed that day to get things custom manufactured and Mauricio and his teammate came out on 12/21 to install all 27 blinds in less than 2 hours so we could get them up before we hosted a ton of guests for our big family Christmas event. That was 11 days from official order submission to install! My only gripe was that there are 3 stickers on the back of each blind that show from curb appeal standpoint so I had to take some time to peel off 81 stickers. Each blind had this one particular red sticker you can't take off cleanly and so I'll need to go back and use goo gone on them at some point when I find the motivation. But if that's the only con through this entire process, they're doing something right. My wife and I love our new soft lift roller shade blinds and can't thank the team at Blinds To Go Vienna enough. read more

I would like to praise Blinds To Go in Vienna on 8032 Leesburg Pike for efficient, friendly service and for its outstanding products. I recently purchased a blind for our new bathroom window. I elected to let Blinds To Go do the measuring but I to do the installation myself. This is a complicated business with many choices in color, material, finish, design, and fit. The sales woman who helped me navigate these many decisions, Leti Moreno, not only was well informed and easily answered every question of mine; Leti was enthusiastic about her work and the product line and patiently walked me through all the steps, from ordering, to measurement, to the time the factory needed to process my order, to installation. She made sure I understood everything. She was always there later on whenever I had a question. Though the product is good, the customer service after our purchase was disappointing and practically nonexistent, which is direct contrast to the tag line proclaiming quality customer service. We spent about $1500 in drapes and blinds for our master suite. We realized one window would be better with a longer drapery rod (medium would be better than small). We went back to showroom asking to exchange the rod but their policy does not allow for that! The reason was "it was a custom order" but that was not a custom rod. I tried calling the customer service line a few times during their stated business hours, but the recording then states that they are closed. We were happy with our order at first but it took a sour turn and it appears we are stuck. read more
