The good news? The setting is beautiful. Since we had so much time on our hands, we got to wander the farm multiple times and really take in the scenery. There's also a coffee shop where you can grab pastries and drinks while you wait, which definitely helped. We all got coffees and did our best to stay patient. By the time we were finally seated, we were beyond hungry. Three of us ordered the same Eggs Benedict, my husband got the two-egg sandwich, and we added a waffle for the table. Unfortunately, the food took its sweet time arriving too. Honestly, I don't think the food was worth a two-hour wait. The potatoes were under-seasoned, the eggs weren't cooked properly, and overall everything just felt a little off. At that point we were all too hungry and slightly too cranky to complain, so we quietly ate and focused on making our exit. The waffles were probably the highlight and seemed to be the one thing everyone enjoyed. As for the rest, the quality didn't match the price tag. It's going to be a very long time before I come back. So I navigated there and was a bit confused by the store location. The coffee shop is situated in a industrial business park, though I quickly figured out that they had storefronts too. I found the spot and walked in. I was greeted by Carey, who introduced herself as the owner of Roasted By Mom Coffee. That's when I learned that this space had 3 independent coffee roasters who share the same equipment and store to sell to customers. And the day I went, Carey was there to serve her coffee beans. So I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte and a black coffee. She didn't have any drip coffee readily available, but she went out of her way to get fresh beans she allowed me to choose to grind and brew a fresh cup for me. Wonderful customer service! I didn't have to wait long for my drinks to be finished. P2 said she enjoyed hers and I thought mine wasn't too bad. The beans I chose, Mom Goes Nutty, has hints of peanut butter, which I could taste in my cup. It was a different experience for sure. Overall, I thought I had a 5-star experience, though the coffee I tried wasn't what I would normally drink.
