The coffee here is lovely and the baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. We're both fantastic. Cute…read morelittle place, and almost wished we could've stayed to eat there, but the ferry awaited our arrival. Crisis seemed very reasonable.

This is such a unique and cozy place! I really like the creativity of the frog theme, like the…read morename "frog sauce" on the menu and how there are cute little frog figurines by the counter, which gives this place a lot of character. When we went there were people dining solo, people eating with their friends and a guy drinking coffee while he worked on his laptop, so it felt like a cozy cafe/coffee shop kind of place that caters to lots of different kinds of people. You order at the main counter and then they bring a number to your table and bring your order there, and our server was amazing! We ate outside even though it was rather cold, as the inside of the restaurant was mostly full, and our server made certain we were all right and even heated up my mum's soup bowl to help us stay warm out there. She came outside to see us and asked if we wanted to move inside because she talked to the guy on his laptop who was sitting at this bar-stool like table by the window and said he was okay to share the table with us, but we said we were happy outside, so that was very kind of the server to think of us like that and make sure we were okay. The soup, which was chicken coconut, was incredibly delicious, so much so that we went back inside to order some more. The "cup" size was very generous. I had the bagel with lox, and it was very delicious and the bagel itself was really good and tasted so much better than the bagels you get at the grocery store. My mum ordered a scone and said it was very delicious as well. Considering inflation, the prices were very affordable.

I went with the pork tenderloin set which comes with refills of sides I believe, but I didn't need to avail of those. I was curious to try this spot since I saw they were on dineout Vancouver 2026 but I probably wouldn't make the trek out here for that, so the lunch set was the next best thing! Food took a bit to arrive but it came hot and nicely presented. I wished the server would have explained what the three dipping seasonings were that were included in the dish, my guess is sole kind of seasoned salt in addition to the wasabi. I wish there was more pork as it was a bit pricey for what it was. However, I did enjoy their kimichi which was layered with alternating leaf and stem pieces, and the purple rice was a nice touch. The cabbage came with some dipping sauce that I had to use quite a lot of to give it sole flavour, I think I would have preferred the slaw style sauce. At the end of the day, I was pretty full from this set and didn't need to ask for any refills, but would have preferred more pork and less if that rice/cabbage. Service was prompt and pleasant.

On this visit, we tried the Klassic Kutlet Meal, Cheese Kutlet, Whole Lotta Wings, and Chestnut Tiramisu. The chicken cutlet in the meal was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly balanced with fresh cabbage, pickles, kimchi, and sauce. The Cheese Kutlet was indulgent and satisfying, with gooey cheese wrapped in a crispy crust. Our favourite, though, was the Whole Lotta Wings, which we order regularly--they're consistently crispy and juicy. We ended the meal with the Chestnut Tiramisu, which was light, smooth, and not overly sweet, making it a refined and enjoyable finish. Overall, Kutlet is a solid new addition to Tsawwassen and an excellent spot for comforting yet well-executed Korean fusion dishes.
