I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but I do enjoy coffee and need my daily dose, so I did find their coffee overall a bit acidic for my tastes. To each their own. There's a small Specialty Menu on the side that I didn't realize until after I paid, I would want to dry the Espresso Tonic or Orange Espresso. They also sell beans by the cashier. You pay at the cashier, and there's no screen to tip which I appreciate. I personally rather pay for a more expensive cup of coffee than tip, as I usually only sit for 15-30min, and take my own cup/plates away before leaving. Small cafe, about 4 small seats and a few by the bar so it does fill up fast. There's a large parking lot for the plaza, but it's paid parking only. Prices are pretty standard for a small local coffee shop. Overall, I'd recommend this place in Burnaby, walkable for both Royal Oak or Metrotown Skytrain station. There are no syrups or flavoring here as the quality and precision of the roasted beans are downright impressive enough. I went with an iced latte with oat milk and the smooth and flavor-packed espresso beans used for this drink danced out of the cup. After sipping on a latte here and putting a few pounds of beans, decaf and caf, through my home espresso machine, we are convinced this is the best and smoothest beans north of the border! There's a musical theme going on inside the tiny cafe until you step out to the common area for a cool art vibe to sit and sip on your espresso beverage of choice.
