I really enjoy these types of fast casual pizza chains are that have been growing. Blaze pizza is really good, fresh ingredients, short wait time, and great service! We ordered three specialty pizzas: the Red Vine, the bbq chicken, and the Link in. The Red vine was the favorite, the red sauce really stands out in this pizza. It's bright and fresh and is fantastic with the fresh mozzarella, basil, and cherry tomatoes. The Link In was a close second. The sausage was very tasty. Didn't change gloves in between putting meat on one pizza and making another pizza. Also didn't switch out pizza cutters, and the toppings in different containers got all messy and combined. Soooo much cross contamination, and while I just find that personally disgusting (ie, Im vegetarian and would really prefer if bits of meat didn't end up touching my food, but can still eat it), it could also be a huge issue for anyone with religious dietary restrictions or food allergies. Please do better and just take the time to switch gloves/utensils and not get ingredients mixed up with one another. read more

Visiting from Maryland. As we were exploring Williamsburg we saw Blaze from the road. My husband said that this is the Brand that LeBron invested in. We are pizza lovers so we decided to give it a try. This is a place where your pizza is baked/blazed to order. When we entered we were greeted by a nice young lady that explained the menu and options. I liked that have signature pizzas, pizzas with 1 or 2 toppings and a build your own option. This is great because the price is cheaper if you only want 1 or 2 toppings. They have a good variety of cheese and toppings options. They have a regular sauce and a spicy red sauce. I chose the spicy red sauce which was lacking spice. I hope that they accidentally had the regular in the spicy container because if that is what they call spicy then they need to go back to the lab. They had chicken but it wasn't seasoned at all. Our pizzas looked good but was lacking flavor. We've been to plenty of pizza places like this and this was by far the most tasteless pizza. The oregano and salt didn't even give it a kick. The place was noisy as there was a kids birthday party going on so we opted to take our pizza to go. Bad idea. The center of our pizza was soggy. Not sure if it was because it was in the box or because it wasn't baked long enough. I ate a slice in the car so mine was not in the box long I would give them another try if I was in Williamsburg but I would ask to taste the sauces, add more seasoning, ask that they bake it longer and eat it there. read more

I was so excited to try this place since being on the keto diet. We live in Norfolk and were having a day trip to celebrate veterans day/landing a new job. After colonial Williamsburg I suggested this place cause I want to try the keto crust(this is the only Blaze around). Me and my husband both ordered a build your own which was neat. We put all kinds of toppings on them. 10 minutes passed and they called my name for my pizza. It was great definitely did not taste keto. However, my husband continued to wait. In this time I ate half a pizza, talked to the ladies next me, and grabbed several waters. I would guess it was a clear 30minutes everyone else had gotten their orders. People that arrived several minutes behind us continued to get there orders. Finally after having to remake his pizza not the way he wanted my husband finally got his pizza and we left.
