I am a little bummed that Blaze changed its menu. I was a big fan of the Red Vine (no longer on the menu), although I suppose I could recreate it. I'm sure it would be hella expensive. What I enjoyed: quick and friendly service, generous sprinkling of sausage on my one-topping pizza, generous application of tomato sauce, nicely crisp and chewy crust, ready in about five minutes, restaurant was clean. This is one of the best casual pizza places to get pizza quickly.

Blaze is one of those build your own personal pizza places. I would say that out of the different chains, this one personal pizza size is slightly larger. The employee was super friendly, and he walked me through the options of what they had available. I ordered their original crust, but for an upcharge, you can get gluten-free or cauliflower crust. I chose the red sauce and mozzarella cheese and just put whatever toppings my heart desired. One thing about this place that I like is they charge you less of you were just planning on getting a cheese or two topping pizza. The only thing about them is that their crust doesn't get as crispy as other Wood fired pizza places. Inside was clean and spacious. The bathrooms were

Overall great service and establishment was clean, and plenty of room to sit down. The toppings for your pizza it's your choice! I had pepperoni, basil, black olives, pineapple, cherry tomatoes, spinach, green peppers, onions, roasted bell peppers, mushrooms, mozzarella, and fresh mozzarella, pizza was well done. I also had a side of hot sauce to try on the pizza, and it gave it a nice kick! We had the pepperoni lovers pizza come with 32 pieces of pepperoni and the sausage pizza, added oregano for seasoning to all pizzas. The pizzas were delicious and they have also some beer you can purchase while you dine in , beer kind is Heineken. Come with an empty stomach, and be ready to eat.

Didn't come up with a cheesy enough caption for this pizza! It was a pizza weekend for us and we just had to try Blaze Keto Pizza Crust! It was delicious and honestly didn't taste any different than regular crust and we will be getting this from now on cause why not healthy when it's amazingly delicious the service is great for them being so young I never had a problem at this Blaze but it does get crowded quickly because the area is so small!

Blaze pizza simply creates a quick, filling, tasteful pizza for either dining-in or on-the-go. This was a great lunch spot. The server welcomed us so nicely, and we went down line deciding what to put on our pizza. It's similar to a chipotle burrito, in the sense you go down the line deciding what to put on your pizza. For this order, we got a regular thin-crust pizza, 2 toppings (mushroom & black olives) with pesto drizzled on top and side of ranch! It was only about $11 for the whole thing. They made it within 15 minutes, and it tasted very fresh. There was a lot of seating available, and the interior felt very comfortable and clean. I definitely recommend this restaurant, especially for someone who is looking for a quick, tasty, and freshly made style pizza. It won't make you feel like you're overly full like deep-dish pizza, but you also won't leave hungry. I think it's a great balance, and they also offer side sweets incase you want some desert. When you finish eating, you feel like it was a solid lunch choice! Overall, this was a great experience.

The Pi Day deal this year, 2023, not as generous as past years, but no complaints really.

The pizzas really are piping hot fresh and quite good here for the price. But still, we only seem to make it here on Pi Day. So apparently this is a 6 year update to my last Pi Day review here. The 3-14 deal this year was for a one-topping pizza (regular price of $9.49) and only after 3:14pm. So, at 4pm, we had about a 35 minute wait. It was a'ight, with nice weather and nothing else to do, and it felt like being part of something special with a crowd. Wife picked mushrooms for her topping and I picked chicken. We both got pesto drizzle and arugula as finishes also. Can't beat a fresh, tasty 11" pizza for $3.14. Thank you.

We had an outrageous experience here today. First they dropped one of our pizzas on the floor. Ok, mistakes happen. But instead of any apology the pizza guy told us to go all the way to the back of the line to start the order all over again. The line was long and rather than waiting for another 40 minutes or so we decided to get our refund and leave. The girl at the register didn't know how to process a refund and the pizza guy told her " just give them their refund so they'd get out of my store". Yes, exactly his words! This place is run with no manager on duty. In order to process the refund she had to call the manager so they could give her instructions over the phone on how to process it. It took another 20 minutes. With many people waiting in line for their food. As we were waiting for our refund we saw the rude pizza guy messing up a bunch of pizzas, the toppings were sliding of the pizzas in the oven and he just grabbed them of the oven surface full of soot and stuck them back on the pie. A simple "sorry" and nice approach would've solved the issue very quickly, because mistakes do happen, but instead the pizza guy acted very rude and disrespectful, and he kept making comments and talking about us , we were shocked, they have ZERO customer service skills. This was absolutely the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. WE got scolded because THEY dropped our pizza on the floor! Not even mentioning that some employees had their hair down and like I said there's no manager and so there was no one to tell them that it's food safety hazard and that they should wear hair restraints because they have direct contact with food. Avoid at all costs!

My boyfriend and I ordered chicken to share as well as waffle fries. My daughter ordered a burger. My aunt ordered chicken as well. My uncle ordered a bowl of sorts with rice and meat. The person taking our order was friendly, patient, and told us to move tables around to accommodate our party of five plus all of the food. The staff also kept giving us free items to try as we were eating, like French fries and a banana pudding. The banana pudding was not large enough to share with everyone so I waited until I was back in the car to head to bingo and split it with my boyfriend. It tasted like banana Laffy Taffy so I am not sure how I feel about that. The breasted chicken was cooked to order, hot, crispy, and had a little kick to it. The rice was flavorful. The onion rings were okay. The waffle fries were definitely superior to the traditional ones. The hamburger was good! The restaurant space was clean, quiet, and spacious. I would make the drive for the broasted chicken again! I wish The Fry Fusion all the success!

It was perfectly dressed with fresh greens, and tortilla chips and chicken, avocado, red onions and cojita cheese. It was one of the best salads I've had. Enough to feed two. Calories, protein, and fiber are listed on the menu with a lot of high protein options. The restrictions were clearly mapped out. They had healthy drinks available. We really liked the Saint James Teas. We took a star off because the plant chicken doesn't seem to be cooked right. It tasted like a dense dry crouton. We have been eating plant-chicken for 15 years, and they need help in that department. There are some comments on here about cleanliness and service. When we were there, they had a dedicated cleaner, wiping the counters between orders and it was very clean, so it looks like they have addressed those concerns. The customer service is still not warm, welcoming, and smiley, which obviously won't help their business. We don't care because we are just happy to have another healthy option besides Chipotle. This could be big. It's better than Protein Bar, Subway, Sweet Green, & Picnic.

All I know is that when it comes to falafel, Pita Inn is where I'm headed. I've had a falafel addiction since I was a wee lad. It calls to me. The crisp shell. The moist and not-too-dense insides. Seasoning balanced on a knife's edge. I'm salivating. Falafel, calling my name. There are different approaches to falafel, I know, but Pita Inn lines it up exactly how I like it. Skokie has a plethora of Middle Eastern eateries, and while I have no idea why that is, I'm not mad at piles of falafel on every block. For awhile I was motivated to try other falafel spots. But why? What am I doing? Pita Inn cooks those golden spheres to perfection. And then on top of that, they bring in the accoutrements for backup. The hot sauce. The endless raw onions with sumac. Piles of pickled turnips. They just do it. Then, when I think it's over, they knock me out with a flawless lentil soup and a plant-based kabob made with charbroiled Impossible meat. I give up. I always make a reservation so I don't have to wait for a table and I note my preference to sit in the bar area. Zi has a wealth of personal wine recommendations, while Tina and Ryan are orchestrating the food delivery based on my preferred timing. Attention to detail is evident with flatware being replaced and water being refilled without asking. The food offerings are elevated in quality and presentation which is reflected in the price point. In the rare event of a kitchen misstep, the dish is refired quickly and is usually delivered by a manager with a sincere apology. Polished service and astute management were not always the norm throughout the years, but it seems like the restaurant is firing on all cylinders currently.
