I am a little bummed that Blaze changed its menu. I was a big fan of the Red Vine (no longer on the menu), although I suppose I could recreate it. I'm sure it would be hella expensive. What I enjoyed: quick and friendly service, generous sprinkling of sausage on my one-topping pizza, generous application of tomato sauce, nicely crisp and chewy crust, ready in about five minutes, restaurant was clean. This is one of the best casual pizza places to get pizza quickly.

Blaze is one of those build your own personal pizza places. I would say that out of the different chains, this one personal pizza size is slightly larger. The employee was super friendly, and he walked me through the options of what they had available. I ordered their original crust, but for an upcharge, you can get gluten-free or cauliflower crust. I chose the red sauce and mozzarella cheese and just put whatever toppings my heart desired. One thing about this place that I like is they charge you less of you were just planning on getting a cheese or two topping pizza. The only thing about them is that their crust doesn't get as crispy as other Wood fired pizza places. Inside was clean and spacious. The bathrooms were

Overall great service and establishment was clean, and plenty of room to sit down. The toppings for your pizza it's your choice! I had pepperoni, basil, black olives, pineapple, cherry tomatoes, spinach, green peppers, onions, roasted bell peppers, mushrooms, mozzarella, and fresh mozzarella, pizza was well done. I also had a side of hot sauce to try on the pizza, and it gave it a nice kick! We had the pepperoni lovers pizza come with 32 pieces of pepperoni and the sausage pizza, added oregano for seasoning to all pizzas. The pizzas were delicious and they have also some beer you can purchase while you dine in , beer kind is Heineken. Come with an empty stomach, and be ready to eat.

Didn't come up with a cheesy enough caption for this pizza! It was a pizza weekend for us and we just had to try Blaze Keto Pizza Crust! It was delicious and honestly didn't taste any different than regular crust and we will be getting this from now on cause why not healthy when it's amazingly delicious the service is great for them being so young I never had a problem at this Blaze but it does get crowded quickly because the area is so small!

Blaze pizza simply creates a quick, filling, tasteful pizza for either dining-in or on-the-go. This was a great lunch spot. The server welcomed us so nicely, and we went down line deciding what to put on our pizza. It's similar to a chipotle burrito, in the sense you go down the line deciding what to put on your pizza. For this order, we got a regular thin-crust pizza, 2 toppings (mushroom & black olives) with pesto drizzled on top and side of ranch! It was only about $11 for the whole thing. They made it within 15 minutes, and it tasted very fresh. There was a lot of seating available, and the interior felt very comfortable and clean. I definitely recommend this restaurant, especially for someone who is looking for a quick, tasty, and freshly made style pizza. It won't make you feel like you're overly full like deep-dish pizza, but you also won't leave hungry. I think it's a great balance, and they also offer side sweets incase you want some desert. When you finish eating, you feel like it was a solid lunch choice! Overall, this was a great experience.

The Pi Day deal this year, 2023, not as generous as past years, but no complaints really.

The pizzas really are piping hot fresh and quite good here for the price. But still, we only seem to make it here on Pi Day. So apparently this is a 6 year update to my last Pi Day review here. The 3-14 deal this year was for a one-topping pizza (regular price of $9.49) and only after 3:14pm. So, at 4pm, we had about a 35 minute wait. It was a'ight, with nice weather and nothing else to do, and it felt like being part of something special with a crowd. Wife picked mushrooms for her topping and I picked chicken. We both got pesto drizzle and arugula as finishes also. Can't beat a fresh, tasty 11" pizza for $3.14. Thank you.

We had an outrageous experience here today. First they dropped one of our pizzas on the floor. Ok, mistakes happen. But instead of any apology the pizza guy told us to go all the way to the back of the line to start the order all over again. The line was long and rather than waiting for another 40 minutes or so we decided to get our refund and leave. The girl at the register didn't know how to process a refund and the pizza guy told her " just give them their refund so they'd get out of my store". Yes, exactly his words! This place is run with no manager on duty. In order to process the refund she had to call the manager so they could give her instructions over the phone on how to process it. It took another 20 minutes. With many people waiting in line for their food. As we were waiting for our refund we saw the rude pizza guy messing up a bunch of pizzas, the toppings were sliding of the pizzas in the oven and he just grabbed them of the oven surface full of soot and stuck them back on the pie. A simple "sorry" and nice approach would've solved the issue very quickly, because mistakes do happen, but instead the pizza guy acted very rude and disrespectful, and he kept making comments and talking about us , we were shocked, they have ZERO customer service skills. This was absolutely the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. WE got scolded because THEY dropped our pizza on the floor! Not even mentioning that some employees had their hair down and like I said there's no manager and so there was no one to tell them that it's food safety hazard and that they should wear hair restraints because they have direct contact with food. Avoid at all costs!

I am satisfied with their response and improve my rating from 1 to 4 stars This isn't a negative review of the food which was the standard chain quality (good but don't splurge on it much for health reasons). I was in the area for a play and picked up a local friend. I went here because an acquaintance (who since died) gave me multiple gift cards to Portillos which I needed to use. I had 4 cards, not sure how much was left on them. We got $27 worth of food and I started handing the cashier the cards. She told me to scan them on the read light reader. Only one had a scannable bar code. She was not sure how to read the others. My friend suggested she swipe it on keyboard, she didn't seem to know this already. Card 1 red light scanned ok. Card 2 swiped ok. Card 3 she swiped and it didn't register, unclear if it worked. Card 4 brought the total to 0$. She wasn't going to give the last 2 cards back and asked for the other two. My tried to clarify that card 4 might have value left, she confidently said no. I was suspicious since the total couldn't have exactly matched my bill. The next day I looked at the receipt and it clearly said there was money left on the card, over 8$. It's unclear whether card 3 had money or she just didn't scan it. I'm presuming this was poor training but it has an element of malicious intent since she was so confident I had nothing left on the card and requested keeping all the cards. If you have gift cards beware going here unless staff are trained. Receipt attached for proof. If the business is reading this, can I cat my money back? Card 3 was for $10 value but not clear if it was touched or not.

Since then, I have off-and-on ordered from nearby restaurants yet with an interest in revisiting Dear Franks at some point. It was not until I recently discovered its veggie and plant-based items on the menu when I made it a high priority to visit, being that I am now a vegetarian. After attending training at my job which sits no more than a mile from Dear Franks, I made my visit. Its location sits along W Touhy Ave amongst a mixture of restaurants and shopping stores that are relevant to the community of Niles. I was acknowledged shortly after I walked in and up to the counter to look at the menu which was plastered above the counter. It took me some time to look at the menu because the menu online differed from the menu onsite above the counter. I had a taste for a veggie hot dog, but I did not see it featured on the menu above the counter, figuring that it was no longer an option at the time. So, I ended up ordering their veggie burger, fries, and a drink which was completed within several minutes. While paying, I could not help but notice Turano products near the register. Turano baking company, a family-owned bakery that produces authentic and delicious breads. I drive by Turano's daily enroute to my primary job and it is hard not to notice its building exterior, which has a commanding presence. Being that I have had the interest in visiting Turano's for some time now, I ended up purchasing a Turano - chocolate chunk cookie to go along with my veggie burger, fries, and drink. Maybe now after purchasing the chocolate chunk cookie, it will urge me to visit its location in Berwyn. I chose to dine-in at Dear Franks since I had plenty of time in my day, plus I figured that I still had time to beat the traffic on Edens Expressway enroute back to Chicago. The inside of Dear Franks appeared clean, and the atmosphere gave off a sporty vibe with pictures of Chicago sports teams, and iconic sporting moments in history of those teams featured. And there are a number of tables with seats available inside of the dining area, plus a television plastered on the wall near the entrance for viewing pleasure as you eat. The crinkle-cut fries were the first item I started off with eating. Though not as good as Portillo's crinkle-cut fries, ketchup certainly complimented them well. From that point on, I could not resist eating them all after the addition of ketchup. I moaned in enjoyment after my first bite of the veggie burger; it was garnished with everything I requested such as ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and tomatoes! It was very satisfying indeed. Taking note of everything I experienced: service, ambiance, and food, I have to say that it was a good experience. And with that I would gladly re-visit Dear Franks of Niles again whenever in the Niles area. Service: 4 | Ambiance: 4 | Food: 5 ~Nourish your soul. ~ Thomas G

She said' ) additional $5.95 for dill. Honestly, $17.95, yes, this sounds more like the correct price point for a small lamb leg. The dill rice was real. The lamb leg comes in a tomato based stew with beans. I wasn't impressed with the leg, quite bland but the rice could have acted as a carrier for any other stew side or with a topping of shawarma, just as nice. The sandwich was mid. Bread dense. I might be missing something. I wonder now whether the breads are also Persian. Perhaps barbari or a thicker taftoon. If you enjoy Persian it could slap? Personally not impressed especially given the out of pocket around $50. Lack of details on menu items with additional pricing is somewhat aggravating. One and done. At the time of order, a young woman was having tea service. I am not sure whether that is offered to everyone or a specialty enjoyed by the owner with their staff & friends.
