    Chicken cutlet vertically

Ordered one chicken Parmesan sandwich and one chicken Parmesan dinner cutlets, and both were hard as a rock unable to eat the dogs had a hard time chewing on a piece had to throw it all out also unfortunately the pizza had flop. Everything was made backwards.

Pickup order after work. Nano's Pizza was close by and we ordered a pepperoni & sausage pizza along with buffalo wings. Pizza was great! I'm not a wings person but when I tried these I was blown away. We'll definitely be ordering again. I think we may have found our new favorite local pizza joint!

Horrible first and last experience I will have at this pizzeria. The manager didn't care for having his mask on around food and the employees who were in the back making the food didn't have masks on either. I mentioned it to him and he got defensive and didn't care. Okay, but what about the food? Why are you u giving 1 star to my "nonas"?!? Yeah it was bad too if your asking. The onion rings were bad and they missed ingredients in my pizza. Your better off getting frozen pizza tasting better than this one. I didn't bother calling them because it's not like they were going to give me my money back and I wouldn't want to go back there anyways if they gave me a credit. It's Chicago/Skokie there are other restaurants who care about the health of their customers with eatable food. Cheers!

Due to the sheer number of visits and now - coming through with such an excellent pizza during a pandemic - Nano's thank you so much. I almost shed a tear when I opened the box - a little normalcy, a little comfort, a little reassurance that things will go back to normal soon. And the pleasant thought of one day soon, being able to sit in the restaurant and have the Nano's special piping hot - as opposed to my self quarantined home. Thank you Nano's!! Here's to having a 100 more pizzas at your restaurant!!

The staff was great and the food even better. I ordered a toasted Italian beef with mozerrella and red sauce.

Seems like they changed ownership. Not as good as I remember. Pizza was ok. Fries were double fried so tasted old. Side salads were good.

I love their food, especially their pizza, stuffed and thin. They have the best coleslaw in town and the staff is always friendly and kind

Little, pretty restaurant, nice people, and I absolutely LOVE the way the cheese mixes with the sauce after it cools a little.

When we got there I saw that he was exactly right. This is right in the middle of a residential area and these people who can just open their front door and walk a few steps to some Pizza are living the dream. The building is pretty small for the amount of people that they squeeze in there. But they were extremely accommodating with us and squeezing in some extra people at our table, which was much appreciated. We had a reservation, which was 100% the right move for how busy this place gets. I had done some research on what their pizza was like so I wasn't surprised when I saw the crust, which some people might think is burnt but it is not. Instead it is caramelized. It was definitely interesting and unlike other versions of Chicago Deep Dish I have tried. The sauce was also quite good. If I'm being 100% honest, this wasn't my favorite Deep Dish I had while in Chicago but it was definitely in the top contenders.

The place itself is pretty small and has an older vibe (I think it's one of their original locations). The pizza was good, don't get me wrong, but I personally didn't get the crazy hype around it. It's solid deep dish, just not something I'd go out of my way for. That said, we still had a fun time overall. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience better. Parking is street parking, so keep that in mind if you're going during busy hours.

Make sure you read the signs since they can be confusing. Also, they accept any payment except for checks. Do people even bring their checkbooks into restaurants these days? lol. You can dine inside or outside. I believe they have a heated patio outside. We dined inside, it was a shame that we couldn't sit at the booth where Anthony Bourdain's picture is. It was occupied. We ordered cheese curds and a medium sized pizza. For toppings, we chose sausage, mushrooms, and fresh garlic. This is not deep dish pizza, I would say it's more of a pan style. It's not heavy like at Gino's East or Giordano's. It has that famous caramelized crust and that airy dough. The toppings were super fresh. We immediately tasted the garlic. Burt's own special blend of the sausage tasted homemade. If you dine in, they cut it for you. If you take it home, you should already have a pizza cutter in your kitchen. Don't be lazy, it's very inexpensive. The cheese curds were generous and very tasty. They're like bite size mozzarella sticks. Service was great and attentive. Prices were cheap.

We dined out on the patio, enjoying a nice summer breeze and letting the kids mess with the chalk wall as they were less patient waiting. Pizza is definitely worth the wait, which is not as long as other deep dish places. Fresh brews on tap, casual and nice for conversations. My only complaint would be the chairs are not comfortable to sit in for long, and were not wide enough for my mid-size hips. And sometimes outside we got wafts of cigarette smoke. Still, it's a great spot not to be missed. It changed our minds on deep dish!

PIZZA LOVERS BEWARE!!! The Detroit pizza which I was told…read morethey are famous for was horrible!! My pizza was burnt on the bottom and it tasted like burnt olive oil, they overcooked it so much that it wasn't even cheesy. It was dry. We paid extra money to have extra pepperoni. Put on the Pizza as you can clearly see, it was not there. The second pizza ordered was a vodka sauce pizza with sausage, roasted, red pepper and garlic. When you lift it up the cheese, you couldn't even find the vodka sauce on there, this pizza was extremely greasy! I called the establishment and asked if I could speak to a manager, the gentleman that got on the phone happened to be the owner. I tried to explain to him everything going on with the pizza, he offered to make us a new one. But at this point, why would we want another Pizza? When we had everybody that was here who had a couple pieces and weren't happy with it. My son at this point was very upset. Because we spent $73 for these 2 pizzas. We asked the gentleman if we could just get some money credited back to our card Since it was a failure. My son was in the background, talking about how he had detroit style pizza from jets, and it was ten times better. The owner I guess was upset by hearing this because he ended up hanging up on me. I think this was a very unprofessional manner. And attitude that this gentleman had with me.Stating and being an owner! His excuse for the pizza being that way is that he didn't make it because he had to run out and make some pizza deliveries. Well I suggest if you're gonna leave other people in the kitchen to cook your pizzas that they should know how to cook a pizza!! Save your money people!!
